Review 1：Pool area is visited by loud kids from outside each day in the afternoon, so it's not for recreation but for partying and smoking shishas as from 2pm each afternoon. Wáter rather dirty due to many young visitors drinking and smoking in the pool

Review 11：When I went to check in, a man who believed he was exalted over others cut me on line and the ladies behind the desk allowed him to go first without even looking at me. I would not suggest this hotel for children, there were alot of prostitutes in the area. Some nights I was even riding the elevators with them.

Review 15：We were really nervous about this hotel but we must say we were extremely pleased with our stay. The location is right at the city's center which suited our needs. Our room and bath were updated and the breakfast far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Santo Domingo.

Review 18：As many have stated it needs some remodeling in some areas like the pool for example, pool seemed dirty, but it seemed to be the need of new floor which had missing cement and paint in some areas. But this didnt affect me since all i really wanted was to ccatch some sun. Seemed they were starting work on the place since i noticed men working the outside of the place through my stay there

Review 19：Me and my wife spent 6 days and the part we loved the most was the breakfast and the helpful staff And overall safety of this place. Ive stayed at multiple hotels and most did not offer breakfast with a standard room. I would definitely look into making this my place to stay in my next trip. The location is premium.

Review 20：On Sunday night of 01/04/2015 we went to have dinner at the Casa Vera Rest on the Hotel. By 1:00 am we got sick with bad diarrhea and vomit, we spend all night like that. On the morning of 01/06 we informed the front desk that we got food poison, they transfer our to a local Pharmacy to take care of us. We spend the whole day on bed and No one came to room the apologized or see if need anything. We had to eat soup from the same restaurant all day and they charge us for all the food and for the room service. No one took responsibility for what happen. Rest waitress Jeimy was the only who call us and sent us some lemonade.

Review 66：I love this hotel! Everyone that works here is a class act. Dahiany, at the front desk is absolutely great. I'm a gym rat and the Body Shop gym is the best in the country, better than most in the states. The food is great, service excellent... the rooms aren't five star but plenty of hot water, wifi and a comfortable bed. The savings is more than worth it. Can't wait to get back to the BQ!

Review 75：Room was run down beds very uncomfortable tv was very old and small theones we give to army salvation no flat screen as shown, prostitutes wereall over, wash room was having very small size with silicone abundantlyused to cover the leaks, I was in shower and the water stopped while Ihad soap all over and I had to clean myself with drinking water which Ibought to drink, later they fixed it and told me it was finished up inthe tank which is not good as sun and plastic heat is very bad forhealth also parasites are common in this situation simply for 108$ Ishould have gone to any other hotel which is chain like Marriott or anystandard room was better then this superior room so imagine what willthe standard room now as I stayed before in standard room 5 months agoit was good but not anymore at the reception the Cuban girl was very dryand unfriendly but all the men were with good attitude . I speak perfectSpanish so think ? It's not standard hotel at least not anymore and60% hotel was empty air condition was not with clean air it felt likestinky with a noise it was better off so one can sleep. Simply if u goto santo Domingo go don't go to this hotel it's done in everysense my stay was only 4 days this time I changed my room but nothing .
