Review 1：A small niggle but found the bed a little hard. However this would not stop me from going back in an instant.

Review 2：Absolutely amazing hotel in an outstanding location offering a very professional service from all the staff. The choice at breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented, the spa again amazing and our suite (as well as the entire hotel) was always clean and exceptional with great views to the front and over to the sea from our room - an absolute delight to wake up to every morning.

Review 3：The outdoor swimming pool has no heating and the water in the begining of november is already cold. The indoor swimming pool is in the spa but children under 16 is not allowed at the spa.

Review 4：This is one of the most beautifull hotels where I've ever been. Lobby is chic with 2 fire places and antique furniture. The classic style rooms with marble bath room, french windows, huge bed. It's palace indeed with 5 star spa zone and open swimming pool in the beautifull garden. Breakfast is excellent.

Review 5：Disappointed by the lack of a jacuzzi in the spa! The steam rooms/saunas were great but would have liked a heated pool. The main pool was quite chilly.

Review 10：Beautiful hotel with most marvellous facilities, views and restaurants. On arrival l was allocated a beautiful suite despite having only booked a double room! Stunning place and to top it all l had this at a special offer and my 10% Genius discount. Will not hesitate to recommend this palatial hotel on Costa del Golf !

Review 11：Soon after my arrival I found my bed sheets had stains all over. A member of the hotel staff made very disrespectful comments about Gibraltarian's and all clients in general. The hotel management promise us an apology which we never received.

Review 18：Coordination between Check in Desk and Bell Hop service could be improved. We waited for 1 hour and fifteen minutes to get our luggage delivered to our room and our car parked in the garage. They only realised when we went down to find out was was happening.

Review 21：We went to this hotel as part of our honeymoon and it was amazing. We have stayed in all the top hotels in the world and this one is right up there. The grounds are georgeus, everything is so clean. The Spa and gym are really good and all free of charge. We will definitely be back!

Review 24：very expensive to eat in the hotel. given the heat it would have been good to get complimentary water per room per night as opposed to just for the first night. some of the staff were quite rude at times. typically the male front desk personnel. disappointed to be turned away from the verandah restaurant for my husband having smart shorts on. in 40 degree heat and sitting outside long pants should not be mandatory. travelling to the beach via the shuttle was not ideal and on our first attempt both buses were full so we had to just stay at the hotel.

Review 25：We were waiting on our room for an hour and a half after check in despite being told by staff they weren't busy. I had requested a late check out weeks in advance and was told they couldn't accommodate our request as there would be a knock on affect to guests coming in after us. I ordered chicken in the terrace restaurant and it was completely raw which I sent back, it was clear when the dish was served to me again it had just been re-cooked, I was expecting a new meal to be served. I had a massage in the spa, I was given a masseur and my boyfriend was given a masseuse. My massage was the worst I've ever had; he didn't dim the lights in the room, they were bright surgery lights which was awful! He didn't follow instruction either.

Review 40：Having to regularly travel for my job I often stay in 5 star hotels. However, Villa Padierna Palace Hotel left a positive emotional memory which I have not experienced since my childhood. Overall, the hotel is clean and very comfortable with large bedrooms and bathrooms. It is a place to relax where time has stopped and the surroundings of the beautiful nature overtake the senses. Marbella and Estepona are 15 min drive which allows for extra flavors in the holiday experience.

Review 106：These are all points that we raised with management, but nonetheless, for a top class hotel they are all important in their way. 1 To have to pay for wifi that actually works is almost akin to being asked to pay for your use of electricity in this day and age. 2 There was a total shortage of plug sockets in the bedrooms. Everyone now travel with mobiles ipad etc that need charging. 3 Our junior suite was beautiful and well lit, but the bathroom was very dark 4 The hairdryer in the bathroom was attached to the wall and of a very low quality, with not much heat. Every other hotel we have staying in recent years has a good quality, unattached hairdryer. If someone walks off with the hairdryer the hotel has the credit card number and can bill for the stolen item 4 There was no desk in the bedroom which was an inconvenience. . 5 It is always nice for the hotel to provide complimentary bottles of water in your room each night, not to have to pay for tiny bottles left in the minibar.

Review 107：The hotel was beautifully designed and we loved all the art and sculpture around the hotel and grounds. The swimming pool was delightful and everything was perfect except.... Apart from the small, easily rectified defects, we would have preferred to pay slightly more for the room and not had to pay for extras.

Review 108：Pricing. Strangely, full VAT inclusive prices were not quoted on menus in the spa & restaurant so the bill can be confusing. Spa details not attended to properly eg. steam / sauna fragrances, drinking water. One needs to ask.
