Reviews for Camp David Ranch

Review 1:Excellent experience and nothing negative to say. Great service all around.

Review 2:Staf and food were great Breeze overlooking the Cit of Santiago Breath taking. historical cars nice neat because I ahd jsut finished a book on Trujillo. I did not know these were here. Any more collectibles?? Possibly?? Bring in more history???

Review 3:Our room wasn't clean--there was dust and a dead bug on the floor by the window. Food at the restaurant was very good but overpriced for the amount (very small portions, more like tapas but priced as entrees).

Review 4:The service was great and the bed was very comfortable. The view was amazing.

Review 5:This facility has deteriorated since last October and needs a complete overhaul of premises and staff..No lunch time menu and the restaurant smells of cigarettes. The view is the only saving grace.

Review 6:The view never disappoints and the tranquility is perfect

Review 7:Being a destination hotel, I was surprised there was no pool. Other than the restaurant and balconies, there is little else to do.

Review 8:Camp David is a good hotel to get away from it all. The view is excellent. The staff is superb. The restaurant is wonderful. The rooms are also quite nice. The grounds are nice too. But this hotel is really meant for someone traveling to the hotel. It's location is outside the city of Santiago so if you stay, you don't venture into town much especially at night. Its a long and winding steep road.

Review 9:Not a negative thing to say - we will definitely return and recommend Camp David to our friends and colleagues

Review 10:- Location up on mountainside with lovely grounds and spectacular views overlooking Santiago, nighttime view of lights, daylight view of mountains - Excellent service: Outside light bulb burned out and staff was there within minutes to change the bulb - Restaurant waiter remembered our breakfast orders from day before and had individual coffee orders waiting - Very comfortable king-size beds - Lovely large rooms, furnished in an up-to-date style - Great furnished private patio off of room - Excellent food and service in restaurant - Front desk staff very, very attentive, very pleasant - We will definitely return!

Review 11:Location (far removed from activities).

Review 12:Location (nice mountain top view). Wi-Fi in room. Breakfast (included). Friendly bi-lingual staff. Modern rooms and Clean. Quiet.

Review 13:Some rooms are too close to one another and can hear neighbors

Review 14:I loved the location; the restaurant gives you the best view of Santiago, especially at night; staff was friendly and helpful; rooms are spacious and clean; the balcony is nice

Review 15:The service in the room was not able to resolve one problem on the sink. No elevator. No good sound isolation from the corridor. But good between the rooms.

Review 16:Nice location 600m on the hills. Fresh in the morning and in the night, but was always windy. Great Restaurant. The biggest room i have ever seen, the split of the clima was far away the bed. Very nice.

Review 32:Everything just it is a bit of pricy

Review 33:No pool

Review 34:Great views

Review 35:I felt safe, I was able to have friends and family come over to have dinner with us without leaving the hotel. The restaurant is excellent.

Review 36:There were late night parties and one ended at 4:30 am, we had to be up early so it was difficult to sleep. Shower in drain became clogged and water ran onto floor, but staff responded and we did not have any other issues.

Review 37:Location has spectacular views and the staff were outstanding. Would highly recommend the hotel.

Review 38:The staff was inconsistent. There were some who were amazing and then some who were the complete opposite. The amount of times I had to wait for server to even recognize me was astounding, especially for the amount of money one pays to be there. On the other hand the ladies in the front desk were so helpful and ready to answer all of my questions. DO NOT GO DURING HOLIDAYS because the Ranch is full of parties and may not be the peace of mind you are looking for.

Review 39:I loved the view and cleanliness.

Review 40:cell phone service was spotty due to the altitude of the hotel. No pool, no spa.

Review 47:The shower is odd and the soap tiny.

Review 48:The view is the best!
