Reviews for Blue Sea Hotel Don Jaime
Review 1:It was a minor inconvenience considering the price we paid but the included breakfast could have been better.
Review 2:We booked last minute and got a huge penthouse room with four beds for only 30€. The room was clean and comfortable and the access to the pool was a must.
Review 3:TV Didn't Work, Fridge was off and closed when we arrived and mold was starting to appear. This is a budget hotel and I have scored it as one 7/10 is about right. We didn't have paid wifi, because staff said it may not be too good in rooms. free wifi in reception though.
Review 4:Cheap & Cheerful Got what we paid for. Room was mainly clean, Good Shower comfy beds. For the money the food was ok. Problem with the safe but it was solved straight away.
Review 5:Lack of comfy beds. A lick of varnish here and there on room doors wouldn't go amiss!!
Review 6:Great location. Although didn't use all facilities it was a very good base. All extremely helpful and staff work very hard.
Review 7:The rooms look really old & tatty, the bath in our room had obviously dropped & therefore tilted to one corner. There were exposed wires hanging out of the wall. Walls paper thin, could hear neighbours clearly
Review 8:Breakfast was really good, excellent croissants on the Saturday. Beds were actually very comfy & the air con worked well. Particularly enjoyed the energy lightbulbs sticking out of every fitting!!
Review 9:Good acoustics! (we could hear our noisy neighbours, but then they left and it was OK
Review 10:After reading negative comments, I was worried about the hotel. But fortunately, it is a normal 3* hotel with normal food. It takes about 5 minutes to the central walking streets and 3 minutes to the local shop Eroski (local net) where you can buy super juice at low price. We stayed there 5 nights - it was normal. For dinner we had salads, vegetables, soup, chicken, pork, fish, pasta, rice, potatoes, desserts, fruits,ice-cream (you have a choice). Everything was fresh and tasty. The hotel was bulit in about 2002. If you want a new, modern hotel - choose 5* hotel on the first line. I think it is the best choice for such money! It is stupid to expect something wooow for low pice! We stayed in 3*hotel in Greece (rating 8.9) - this hotel is much better than the one in Greece
Review 11:Beds
Review 12:The choice of food could have been better
Review 13:The price we paid
Review 14:Food wasn't great but you get what you pay for
Review 15:The bed was comfortable and it was great value for money
Review 16:Noise all night due to motor/fan outside room all day/night.
Review 17:Nothing, it needs a good bleaching
Review 18:Not much entertainment. Accommodation needs some TLC.
Review 19:Excellent value for money paid. Staff friendly and helpful.
Review 20:The food was bad, 500 guests and 40 sun beds around the pool
Review 21:not very clean.
Review 22:Calm and quiet,location,
Review 23:Very average "canteen type" food. Few choices.
Review 24:Room, staff, pool, bar etc - all fine.
Review 25:Breakfast food often ran out and not replaced. They need to up there game on the food front.
Review 26:The hotel needs a total re-vamp, noise levels, hardly any parasols. Food could have been better. We stayed for a week which was long enough for this hotel.
Review 27:Being close to the beach and shops
Review 28:This hotel is getting very tired, and this reflects in the decor. Thebedding was clean but again it was worn and could do with replacing. Iwas only staying b and b but if I wanted all-in I would choose adifferent hotel. If you want somewhere to sleep shower and s(-)it thenit is fine.
Review 29:I found this hotel ok and the breakfast was fine,
Review 30:1. Air condition was very poor for such a hotness. Technician came just after 3 days after our request to take a look "what was wrong".2. We had half-board (breakfast, dinner) and NOTE that you will have to pay even for water during the dinner and you CANNOT bring your own water (2€ per jar with running water). 3. USB port didn't work in both PC (1€ per 15 min), wi-fi you've to pay and it works just downstairs. 4. We wanted to leave our suitcase in the hotel in the day of check-out till the evening and reception asked 15€ for "this service"!!! Staff wasn't nice and friendly. Actually I don't recommend you this hotel but for very budget holidays MAYBE it's ok.
Review 31:The room had a nice balcony, towels were changed daily (exept Wednesdayand Saturday), 7 minutes walking from the good sandy beach.
Review 32:It was full of British people and everybody had all inclusive bracelets on. They lounged in the hotel all day and night, guess they didn't see very much of Cala Millor it self. Way too few sun loungers and tables + chairs for the amount of people in the hotel. It's ok if you don't go all inclusive like we didn't so you won't be stuck at the hotel all the time. But if you are all inclusive, definitely don't recommend this hotel.
Review 33:Good sized rooms with good AC. Good sized balcony. The staff was helpful. Good location too.
Review 34:Only downside was my room smelt a little damp, but not much to worry about on a 3 night stag party !
Review 35:Got what you paid for, have paid far more for similar facilities not including all inclusive. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food and drink facilities were ok.
Review 36:not enough beds and place by the pool
Review 37:calm place, good food, kind staff
