Reviews for Hotel Amanhavis
Review 1:It was small and personal. The decor was well planned and created a great atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and seemed genuinely interested in making our stay as comfortable as possible. The food was fantastic.
Review 2:Tacky pop music playing during dinner - missed opportunity to make the most of the inherent ambience of the moorish style courtyard around the pool.
Review 3:Wonderfully relaxed vibe in stunning moorish boutique hotel - loved the Astronomer's room. Excellent breakfast and dinner.
Review 4:The lack of space to relax around the pool. The laying of the terrace tables adjacent to the pool from 4pm onwards, one felt as if one was intruding and therefore had no option but to leave the combined pool/ restaurant area.
Review 5:The setting of the Hotel.
Review 6:Only issue was Wifi connection only possible in the reception/ restaurant.
Review 7:Location, in the heart of Benahavis, staff, welcome and individually themed rooms.
Review 8:Walls are so thick that you can't access wifi in room. However available in lounge.

Review 10:I travel all the time and never bother to write a review but this hotel was simply too nice not to do so. The staff and the owners are truly genuine and you feel much more like at home rather than in a hotel. The room was absolutely beautiful, full of character and details. The food was yummy and worth every penny. Cant wait to come back.
Review 11:There are a lot of stairs in the hotel as it is set on different levels.
Review 12:The hotel is very original, the rooms are themed and the decor is nice.We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was very good,as were the breakfasts. The staff were really kind and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is situated in the centre of the town so easy access to the many bars and restaurants of Benavis.

Review 20:This small hotel is in a perfect location near the centre of the old town and all the bars and restaurants. Rooms are nice, there is a small plunge pool, and a roof terrace where you can sunbathe and take in the glorious views.

Review 23:As soon as we arrived the staff were so helpful - nothing was too much trouble to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Quirky rooms which were well thought out - the air con was welcome when it got really hot. Lovely breakfast on the terrace and a restaurant worth visiting. Sangria on the roof terrace and a small pool to cool off after. If you want a relaxing holiday then this hotel is perfect - quiet but right in the centre of the town.

Review 66:Being fussy, bath a bit tired.
Review 67:Intimacy and personal touch from staff. Restaurant marvellous. Room very comfortable.
Review 68:Food and restaurant and service
Review 69:Our room was not as good as expected given the room rate. The shower head kept fall off, the bath didn't drain away when standing in the bath showering, you were standing in inches of water. the safe in the room didn't work, and even though we told staff on arrival, this was still not fixed. The room had cobwebs on the ceiling, there was no wifi in the room. We didn't have breakfast in the mornings as this was €11 euros per person, which is way overpriced. I think that when charging boutique hotel rates, my expectation is that the room should have been maintained to a better standard. Although we enjoyed our stay, overall we were disappointed.
Review 70:Location was great and staff very friendly. Hotel is quirky and has some good facilities.
Review 71:Unable to get into main part of hotel after midnight so couldn't use internet (not available in rooms) Tea/coffee and mini bar wasn't stocked up daily so had to ask for milk, tea, water etc.

Review 78:The centre town location,, the hotel restaurant.
