Review 1：Terrace staff needs to be more cheerful and needs to learn how to socialize with customers as opposed to congregating with themselves. Also very judgemental if you have alittle extra pounds packed on. They must've thought I didn't understand or speak Spanish...SMH

Review 3：Linens were old and used. Some even had old blood stains. Staff moves at a very slow pace and are unwillingly to go that extra mile to assist you.

Review 5：Staff at the reception desk were pleasant. However, the first night I called to complain about the TV remote control that wasn't working and the receptionist kept telling me all night, until I went to sleep, that help was on the way, which never arrived. The next morning, I ran into a guy in green, I believe, with a walkie-talkie, and I complained to him about the TV remote control. He got immediately on his walkie-talkie and asked someone to get to my room and have the remote control fixed. Later when I return to my room the remote control was in working condition. Then, I also noticed that the bathroom was leaking; same scenario - called and was told someone was coming to take of the leak, and up-to when I checked out the following day, the leak had not been addressed.

Review 6：Staff at the reception desk on my arrival and departure, were pleasant. I also like the buffet breakfast.

Review 7：At checkin I reserved at a rate they had a different rate that I had cancelled prior. The pillows need to be changed. Bathroom has rust stains. Should get an update on the bedspreads. Staff was not at all friendly. While at the pool staff did not ask if I wanted something. Downer. At check out almost got charged again something I had paid already

Review 9：i love everything about this hotel, the only thing that i would add is that on the first day of my trip I fell and broke a leg. this hotel should be better equipped for people with wheelchairs. At least two or three designated room should be handicap accessible.

Review 10：Dirty place with worst bedding and i asked for King size bed but got 2 queen size beds. Room was dirtiest ever i been. I can say that management don't care for the property even the location is nice but otherwise rest of the things are worst.

Review 12：The hotel was extremely old. Its felt dirty. Out of a group of 7 people with their own rooms, 2 AC units worked. Superior rooms wasn't available, so the staff attempted to con us into a standard room for the same price. overall felt dirty, and the rooms are very small.

Review 25：While everything was functional, the hotel is quite run down and poorly maintained. Noise from the street in front is audible everywhere. Finally (this has nothing to do with the hotel), be aware that in the entire Dominican Republic 28% tax and service is never included in the advertised price.

Review 26：Hotel staff was pleasant, courteous and attentive. A replacement room was provided immediately when a safe key in the first room could not be provided. Room cleaning was impeccable. Terrace and pool are are very comfortable.

Review 27：The noise! You hear the noise from the street (vehicles, trucks, people, music, etc). We also heard the bed from the floor above.

Review 31：They tried to check us in to and accept a room with a broken sink and falling shower ceiling. Manager who checked us in stated there would be no charge for local telephone calls. Upon check out, we were required to pay $1100 RD for local phone calls. AC was very loud. We had to decline a Hotel presented bait-n-switch offer from a "broken" room to the one we eventually got of 30% increase. Prices for alcohol drinks varied, depending on who you ordered from.

Review 51：Location is good, but it can be a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights due to the transit and people enjoying the night life. Also, the hotel was great over all, but we had to call maintenance 3 times during our stay due to running out of water, which they fixed right away when we called and said an it was an issue they were working to fix permanently.

Review 122：Hotel has great potential, but appears neglected (or as if owned/managed by someone with a lot of money who really dont 'need' to do more). Casino: horrible, they took the tables out and now there are a handful of slots. Breakfast could be better (seemed a bit watered down- everything, from the juice to the oatmeal). Bar prices (4USD for a presidente- really?!) - i would have spent more at the hotel, but why, when I could just as easily go out on the street and get a beer for 1USD.

Review 123：This was my first time staying at this hotel. I have been going to the Dom Rep for ~12 years and normally stay at The Marriott (Juaraga)-which has been closed for renovation. Hotels is in a great location (on the Malecon), the room, while megar, was confroatble and clean. The air conditioning was working (I had to turn it down). All the rooms face the ocean. Great pool and bar, decent menu and the bar/restaurant is open until 1am. Jose at the front desk was awesome! The waiter in the restaurant was great (didnt get his name). Internet was excellent and everywhere (and free)-a little slow, but thats the network, not the hotels fault. Bellmen were friendly and helpful. Hosekeeping (at least the one who did my room) was excellent! Overall, not bad.
