Reviews for Costa Adeje Gran Hotel

Review 1:Got the short straw and had room next to road.im a lite sleeper and it kept me awake

Review 2:Really liked the hotel and vicinity.cant complain about much .can't wait to return

Review 3:There were a few things we were not happy with during our stay. The first was that when first arrived we discovered that our blankets and some of the cushions were not clean. They smelt badly of body odour. We had to call housekeeping and wait several hours for them to change them (we think they were changed and hopefully not just sprayed with freshener). We definitely expected that ALL sheets and blankets should be changed when new customers arrive! The second incident was when we booked massages at the resort spa. For some background, I am pregnant, and my partner and I were spoiling ourselves for our 'babymoon' in this resort.I booked a pregnancy massage and my partner a different one. At the time of booking, we were told my the staff that they had a special offer on where we could both get 30 minutes free use of the spa circuit (which is a jacuzzi tub, sauna and a few other things). We decided to book and had our massages (which were ok, but nothing special for the price) and then booked in our spa circuit for the next day.The next day, about 1 hour before our session we received a call in our hotel room and were told that pregnant ladies are not allowed in the spa circuit. And that they 'offered' to let my partner use the whole hour by himself. We went down to the spa counter in person to discuss, because that was not what we wanted or had been offered. We complained that they had sold us massages on the basis that the free spa circuit was included and that it was something we could do together. The woman who worked there was extremely unapologetic and I found her to be quite rude. She had a very non-caring attitude and said: 'Oh yea, it was my colleague who told you the wrong thing, and the spa circuit was free anyway.'She insisted that there was absolutely nothing they could do, and nothing else they could offer. For me it was quite upsetting so I complained to the hotel front desk.

Review 4:Beautiful foyer and general areas. Nice room and swimming pools. The selection on the buffet was quite varied, and we liked how there was a grill and pasta section where your dish was cooked fresh. Also loved the selection of fresh fruits available. They offered a range of activities. We don't have kids, but it seems like they have some great activities to keep the children happy and entertained.

Review 5:When booking ask for a room with the sun shine at some time in the day

Review 6:We are in are sixty the room was so spacious and the bathroom it was great with the second door to keep the noise down the food is excellent we had a great time

Review 7:The balconies are really bad and if you have noisy neighbors it is impossible to sleep, you can hear everything that is going on in the other room

Review 8:Atmosphere of the hotel, hospitality, restoran service and meals, swimming pools, everything))

Review 9:Not 5 Star in our opinion. Bedding very poor quality. In Pool Area only allowed now Towel per person and no Waiter Service for drinks etc., The information provided for the facilities and location of these, poor. Person selling trips did not explain properly that you would be spending 4 hours in Cafe waiting for return of Mini Bus.

Review 10:Food good, prices for extra's reasonable. Staff on Desk and in Dining Room cheerful and helpful.

Review 11:The balconies on the fourth floor do not let the sun in. A meter high wall blocks the view and the sun. Be careful to have a room with railings. The gym is rather spartan and lacks equipment.

Review 12:A very nice hotel. Not the best in Costa Adeje. The breakfast is very good and the hotel is clean and staff are friendly. I complained about the lack of sun and brick wall on balcony. Was immediately transferred to a perfect room.

Review 13:The hotel and staff were brilliant the food was excellent it was spotless clean rooms serviced each day also photographer claudio was so friendly he was a breath of fresh air and entertainment was good too would definitely go back loved it

Review 14:Unstable Wi-Fi connection.

Review 15:Everything is perfect: great staff, excellent service, convenient location and comfort room. The hotel is particularly suitable for families with young children. They provide many services that entertain the little ones.

Review 16:It's a big Hotel so you lose that personal touch with the staff

Review 17:We had a nice stay here, the breakfast was good, lots of selection. Our daughter loved the disco ever night! There was plenty of swimming pools, but we only used 1 as it was heated whereas the others weren't.

Review 18:Very disappointed no tea making facilties in the room. Not enough attention payed to used toiletries. We were out of soap first four days, till we mentioned it.

Review 19:Helefullness of all staff.size of rooms.

Review 20:Third person on the sofa. Very uncomfortable and moving up!The bathroom needs renovating. No free jacuzzi!

Review 21:Excellent breakfast!Beautiful pools area.The.

Review 22:Hotel needs a little TLC. Exterior paint needs attention. Squash court floor slippy!

Review 23:Great value hotel on All Inclusive. Food was excellent. Staff were really nice. Spa was excellent, fantastic treatments at a good price.

Review 24:Noise from next door (stud walls) and corridors was frustrating

Review 25:Very luxurious facilities. Private access to spa was lovely. Lots of space around pool and excellent selection at breakfast.

Review 26:The room level was extremely bad and does absolutely not respond a fivestar standard. We arrived late night and the first thing we had to dowas to ask for new blankets. They were very dirty and the new once wegot were as dirty. What was also very disappointing was the fact thatthe mini bar was empty. You could have ordered products to the minibar, but the minimum was 8 products, otherwise you will be charged extra. Wegot also insulted by the the hotel paper we found in the room: please donot take the property of the room for your own, otherwise your creditcard will be charged. People who reserve a 5 star hotel do not have aneed to steal room property. Neither there were face towels or facialtissue in the bathroom, which is an absolute standard in a 5 star hotel. If you wanted to use the lobby computer, you had to pay for it. All 5stars hotel we have been offer this free of charge.

Review 27:The location was good, the swimming pool area fantastic and thebreakfast buffet one of the best we have seen. The lobby was beautifuland evening program offered each day.

Review 28:Tables at meal times were not set we had to walk round find a table and wait for it to be set for meals. Very dissapointing. The tap on the bath/shower mixer tap was broken i reported it on 1st day a maintenance man came had a look and never came back. Still broken on day of leaving. Very dissapointing..

Review 29:Had a lovely stay but the food overall is not of 5 star standard but acceptable enough and plenty of choice

Review 30:Had a senior suite which was very spacious and we felt very spoilt with complementary wine, fruit, water etc and extras like a turn down service and fresh towels twice a day.

Review 31:I felt that at breakfast time the staff had to be asked for the coffee and tea, otherwise everything was great.

Review 32:This was our first time to Tenerife, Absolutely loved it, the hotel is within walking distance to the beach front and minutes away from bars and shops.

Review 33:There's nothing to dislike

Review 34:The property was beautiful, but a little dated, which didn't bother us. Three swimming pools, gym, spa, entertainment in the evenings, shopping centre down the road, what more could you ask for. We didn't eat in the restaurant other than the complimentary breakfast in the mornings, which had good variety of choice.

Review 35:I like the beach and was surprised how far away it was and up hill all the way back. Good exercise though after all the lovely food

Review 36:A fabulous hotel deserves 5 stars. Although very big with many guests I never had to wait long for a lift. Plenty of sun beds and plenty of tables for meals. Very friendly staff too especially at reception desk.

Review 37:Needed a single bed in a room with 3 adults not a pull out bed. Asked for a bed and was told sorry. It's ok for a young child but not an adult. The room is advertised for 3 adults but u get 2 single and a pull out seater. Not good?

Review 38:Nice hotel with great food?

Review 39:Dining room experience is awful. Tables not cleared quick enough no direction given to guests u eventually get table and come back to find some one else sitting in it.

Review 40:location was good hotel nice

Review 41:Staff a disgrace , rude, unhelpful and looked like they didn't want to be there .. Adult pool on roof terrace disgusting ...

Review 42:Food was good , lovely hotel to look at .

Review 43:Very slow service in restaurants waiting for drinks and plates to be cleared. Need more variety for lunch.

Review 44:Beautiful looking hotel. Not too busy, Clean. Breakfast was good and varied. Bar service is quick. Pool areas and view from roof top pool. Comfy beds and pilows, large rooms.

Review 45:None

Review 46:From walking through the door we loved every thing about the hotel staff, food and entertainment .The rooms were so comfortable and keep to a very night standard. The view over the rear of the hotel looking at the Valcanos , palms and Bogenvillias were amazing especially at sunset.

Review 47:Room service food quality poor. Ordered pizza. It was terrible

Review 48:We were upgraded to a suite which was excellent - 2 balconys over looking pool and sea view. After checking out, we were still able to shower and fresh up before journey home - free of charge.

Review 49:Pools very cold. All inclusive clients are devaluing the standards - not nice to see pure greed for free food and drink and surely not the type of person a 5 start hotel wishes to attract.

Review 50:Good food and decent property.

Review 51:No kettle in the room and takes 10 mins to walk to the nearest beach.

Review 52:Good quality of food and nice pool area. Room is large than I expected and staff are very friendly and helpful!

Review 53:The wireless internet in the room did not work. We had to find locations in the hotel where it did work. The bed for our kid was a sofa that opens to a bed, for a 4-year old it was perfectly fine, but for older kids it does not strike me as very nice.

Review 54:First visit to the region, we were very positively surprised by the hotel - the room was very comfortable, the swimming pool was great, breakfast was also very satisfying. This was the first time that our daughter willingly went to the Miniclub and wanted to return - the personal there was really great and we got some free time for ourselves. To our surprise, we hardly left the hotel.

Review 55:Rooms lacked detail for 5 star hotel eg would have expected a box of tissues and complimentary conditioner in room of a 5 star rated hotel Bathroom in need of updating. Two single beds pushed together with separate bedding does not make a double bed!

Review 56:Extremely helpful staff - especially Ana on reception. Quality of food excellent - dinner considerably better than local restaurants we tried.

Review 57:Excellent hotel I had read a few negative feedbacks before going and I must say I cannot believe anyone could find a negative thing about this hotel everything was superb and the service and cleanliness amazing ...hoping to go back next year

Review 58:Poor air con in bedrooms.

Review 59:Fifth stay at this hotel and going back again in 7 weeks. Staff are fantastic, love the quiet location away from nightclubs. Nice restaurants nearby if you fancy eating out. Pools are lovely. Lots of activities on offer but no pressure to join in if you don't want to.

Review 60:- The shower in the room is in terrible condition; with greenish limescale and loose tap that wants to fall out of the wall - The bed creaks - The minibar is completely empty and there is a "nice" note waiting for you, saying what happens if you steal anything - The hotel bar service is beyond imagination; they didn't take our order for half an hour, then brought pineapple juice with rum for pina colada and dry martini for vodka martini - The hairdressers give an appointment but don't care; their ads turned out to be simple lies and the appointment was a complete waste of time

Review 61:- The swimming pools are very nice, clean and very well maintained - The check-in and check-out goes very smoothly, the reception staff is very polite and competent - The breakfast is excellent

Review 62:Some members of bar staff on lower level not up to standard of other staff (waiter taking orders but drinks not arriving etc.).

Review 63:The assistance and attentiveness at all times from the reception, catering and cleaning staff was very, very good.

Review 64:Service very slow. Hotel run down, in need of refurbishment. Impossible to charge anything to the room, even though the whole stay was paid for on check-in. Staff always made a point of preferring payment in cash. The only thing "Gran" about this hotel is its size.

Review 65:Wi-fi very poor. Very old people mostly from UK, it's like a retirement house. There is not enough animation. Do not understand why they do not use the pool area, to have some shows/animations by the pool in the evening. Where they currently have those shows in the lobby area was very very warm, that we could not even sit inside. I would recommend people to choose half board or full board, if you do not want to look for nice food/restaurants outside the hotel all the time, which is not very convenient. Renovation of the hotel to have a modern look would also be good.

Review 66:the room was bigger than we expected, comfortable bed, the pool is nice clean room free parking place friendly personnel except few of them

Review 67:Cleaning lady coming to clean at 8 am (woke us up every morning) and noise from next door visitors. Also not mentioned anywhere that no access is allowed for men in shorts at dinner (just long trousers can be worn). We had only breakfast included however we decided to have dinner there as well after seeing how great the food was. It was thanks to one of the waiters (Victor) that we found out about the food vouchers that could be purchased at reception and would give you a discount price for dinners.

Review 68:Hotel is beautiful, staff are amazing, food is fabulous. Room is cleaned every day, location is very close to the beach. We asked for a room with pool view and that is what we got. Complementary drinks on arrival, courtesy shower room given at request for late check outs. Not charged for a kettle we had to rent to boil water for baby milk (they charge per day of use so better off bringing your own if possible)

Review 69:It would have been nice to have water in our room on arrival after the long journey but we had to order this. Also, although the food is first class it is quite bland at times- fans of spicey food or strong flavors will be disappointed. The location is about 15 minutes walk from the beach/sea down a long hill. It's hard work pushing a pram back up it in the heat!

Review 70:The hotel is very grand. Rooms are big and clean. The pools and facilities are lovely. The food is epic - but could do with a little more variety and something spicey. Staff are very professional Although the rooms don't come with a kettle, this can be ordered and was given to us for free because we had a baby. That was very good of them.

Review 71:Even though we arrived at the hotel at 9.30am and check-in time was noon, our room wasn't ready until 1pm for us to check in. The pool wasn't deep enough (maximum depth 1.68m if I remember well). There weren't enough seats by the pool, there were occasions when we couldn't sit anywhere. The lifts were extremely hot without any sort of air conditioning. The hotel was further from the beach than we expected (it's 500m or more away). You have to pay if you want to use the safe box in your bedroom. There is no direct access for pedestrians from the underground car park to the hotel. Other than that it was OK, but for the price, we expected more.

Review 72:Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Nice staff (in spite of making us wait for more than 1h to check in).

Review 73:The karaoke was more suitable for English people than for Spanish ones because there was a poor sellection of Spanish songs. Wifi could work better at the rooms. We asked a room with swimmingpool views but we were not satisfied.

Review 74:Excellent breakfast and dinner in renovated restaurant facilities. Devoted animation team (specially Alba and Monica). Minigolf facilities.

Review 75:- Ignorant waiters. You may wait for 30 minutes till they offer you coffee. - The variety of food decreased from the previous year. - Chef does not control quality of dishes. You may get burned or not prepared meat or fish. - Flies and insects are present - Bad ventilation in restaurant so during dinner you smell smoke - Hotel increased prices from previous year and became more expensive

Review 76:- Food. - Facilities - Location is 1000 steps from El Duque playa(beach)

Review 77:I think the hotel generally is a little tired and needs updating our bathroom tap came of in my hand one day although was repaired very quickly a lamp in the bathroom fell out over the mirror another time and the smoke alarm was flashing red during some nights but not others a little unnerving. I don't think it should be classed of a 5 star because of my comments .

Review 78:Coming from a very wet Wales we loved the warmth and sunshine we enjoyed the pool area where we spent most of our time breakfast had a good selection to suit . Cannot comment on evening meal as we didn't eat there .overall a good class hotel suits families .

Review 79:The beds are not the most comfortable I have ever stayed in, having said that we tried the bed of another family member which was much better!

Review 80:Good position, spotless, superb quality and variety of food. Rooms spacious and modern, constantly improving and maintaining of communal areas. Staff are a credit to GF Hotels. Can thoroughly recommend. There are many 5* hotels in Costa Adeje, some of which may be superior, however the additional cost is significant and does not in my opinion at least represent exceptional value. Stay at the Costa Adeje Gran, you won't be disappointed. Recommend Half Board as there are many fantastic restaurants in Costa Adeje.

Review 81:Staff were not very helpful, sending me off for their complimentary drink while my room was prepared but not explaining the hotel layout until 3 hours later when I'd already been wandering aimlessly for some time!

Review 82:Big hotel, lots for kids to do and big pool. Unfortunately it was so busy I couldn't find a lounger to sit round it! Roof terrace was calm and pleasant but no waiter drinks service which I would expect from a 5*.

Review 83:Wifi could be improved. It was intermittent and kept disconnecting Air conditioning in the Main bar area for entertainment at night could be improved. It was often too stuffy to sit inside and cooler outside the front entrance seating area

Review 84:Friendly staff Cleanliness- spotless in room and around all areas of the hotel Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and options of where to sunbath

Review 85:Rooms and balconies very basic. Not a five star hotel. I wouldnt stay again.

Review 86:The pool was nice. Food a bit samey samey. Its not a five star hotel. Rooms poor quality for price

Review 87:This hotel is not for someone who likes peace and quiet on holiday. It's amazing but big and busy!

Review 88:Couldn't fault the facilities. A real luxury holiday.

Review 89:The wifi is dodgy in the rooms. It actually works perfectly only in the main lobby. The magnetic keys are standard but for some reasons I had to change them every day. Seems to be because of mobile phones that interfer with them... Messy anyway but no big deal.

Review 90:The food is excellent with good quality products. The rooms are standard for 5 stars hotel. The pools are really nice and suitable for kids. There are activities for children in a sufficient amount which is really nice!

Review 91:Choice and quality of food at dinner could have been better. In contrast, the lunch offering was very good.

Review 92:The staff were excellent - very attentive and polite

Review 93:Lovely freshly baked croissants for breakfast, loads of food to choose from. Kind and friendly staff. Felt safe. Spotlessly clean pool and plenty of sun loungers. Convenient as shops including hair salon and spa inside hotel. Everything you need here. Rooms spacious, with own balcony and fantastic bathroom and shower!

Review 94:Absolutely fantastic hotel, amazing facilities, so clean and tidy. The staff were all fantastic and the breakfast and dinner options were so good with a wide variety of food to choose from every day.

Review 95:Fantastic hotel, food and drink were excellent. Service was fabulous. Most of the entertainment was great. Rooms were big with a huge bathroom. Swimming pools were clean and spacious. I loved the fact you could not reserve sunbeds, made the holiday so much nice. Very impressed overall with the hotel.

Review 96:No bad experience.

Review 97:Great resort good amenities lots to do. Good choice of swimming pools. The breakfast was ample great selection of food and waffles a big hit ! The drinks on arrival was a nice touch.

Review 98:The gym has opening hours of 10-18:00 & is not air conditioned this means there is no possibility of a pre-breakfast session (or indeed an afternoon one), it also has no water fountain. It is also frustrating that they do not enforce that people cannot merely leave a towel on sun loungers for a whole day - it means there is no flow of people & we found it a delay in getting a good spot on the roof terrace.

Review 99:Room was clean and comfortable. Well priced and good value drinks.

Review 100:Hotel seemed under staffed in bars and restaurants. Drinks menus were outdated with bar staff appearing annoyed when asking for fresh coffee rather than machine filtered coffee. Most of cocktail menu drinks contained syrups and fizzy juices rather than fresh although when I asked for a margarita we got a pint of lemon juice...not what I'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Hotel also had a fair few cockroaches- only 1 in room, but a few on balconies and in pool restrooms.

Review 101:Great pools

Review 102:I like everything. it was a fantastic holiday but it will be nice to have tea making facility in the room

Review 103:Pleasant and friendly staff, choice of food was great, the atmosphere was good. The hotel location is also very good and excellent.

Review 104:difficulty in finding a parking space

Review 105:good service everywhere , good selection of food especially salads on the buffet , also the entertainment at night was enjoyable

Review 106:Excellent hotel with very good facilities which catered well for our older teenage children. You are not allowed to reserve sun beds before 10am and if you do your towels are removed, this worked very well as there was always sun beds available after you had had breakfast and saved the early morning dash to ensure you had a bed for the day.

Review 107:No bad experiences but would like to see baseball caps and flipflops on women banned from restaurant during dinner times.

Review 108:Attitude of staff. Food variety and quality.

Review 109:Children being allowed in adult only area.

Review 110:The adult only sunbathing area is the main reason we return to this hotel. But it must be kept as adult only for it work. Some people still insisted in allowing their children into this area and this spoilt the peace and quiet. Staff must check this area and inform some people that children are not allowed. If this peaceful area is kept as adult only we wil continue to return to this lovely hotel.

Review 111:After we unpacked we realised that the air conditioning was making a really loud rattling noise. We requested that it be repaired and was advised that it could not be repaired and was a affecting a number of rooms in the area. Very disappointed that this room had been provided knowing that the problem existed, I guess hoping that guests would just accept it. We were relocated, which took us an hour to re-pack, move everything and unpack again. We were compensated with a derisory small basket of fruit and two bottles of water. We had room service one evening and were served partially cooked chicken. Fortunately only I ate it, resulting in mild stomach cramps next day. We returned part of the uncooked chicken and advised the problem. Next day a waiter arrived with an exact refund for the chicken dish (6.95euros). Poor show. The rest of the food on the room service was terrible also! Overall, would not consider this to be a 5-star hotel. 4-star, at best. This is reflected in the lower cost than other 5-star hotels in the area.

Review 112:Room was comfortable. Breakfast provided excellent choice and food was good. (we were B&B) Good location for Adeje/beach/taxi to Las Americas/Los Christianos.

Review 113:There are a few minor bits which the hotel management might want to improve: 1. Plumbing / water pressure. It was difficult to adjust the temperature in the shower, it varies hugely from very hot to very cold, often the pressure was insufficient (especially before dinner when many guests were using showers). This has to be sorted, you do expect to get a nice shower in a 5 star hotel. 2. Cleaning process could be a bit more organised. Sometimes we came back from lunch and our room was still not cleaned, sometimes we've had to wait till about 4p.m. to have it refreshed. Would be nice to have rooms cleaned quicker (hire more cleaning staff perhaps?) 3. Water in the biggest swimming pool was rather cold so not many people were willing to swim there - as a result, smaller (and warmer) swimming pool was full of people. 4. Please buy a proper coffee machine! Coffee in the Finca restaurant (where everyone has their breakfast) was totally dreadful! This is something which can be improved easily, please do this and your restaurant will be an absolute top class! 5. Air conditioning in the gym must be broken or non existing. I've spent about 30 minutes there and it felt like I was exercising in a sauna so couldn't really use it. Don't get me wrong - these are just points for improvement which have not spoilt our holiday at all. I want to stress that we are really happy with out stay in this hotel, we would be happy to come back again and we do recommend it to other travellers! As far as I could understand, many guests were there for a number of times before and they kept returning. This is not surprising - you do get a lot for your money, great 5 star service for relatively little money (especially if you compare with other hotels located nearby). Recommend!

Review 114:This is an excellent hotel - one of the best on Tenerife. The walk to the beach is about 10-15 minutes, restaurants, car hire firms, supermarkets are all nearby. The hotel itself is very large and the range of services offered is huge (it's been the first time I've been offered to select a pillow out of a "pillow menu"). Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Quite and relaxing atmosphere, we did enjoy classical music on the background and birds singing sounds. Food is absolutely great! We've stayed on bed and breakfast basis but went for a dinner occasionally as well. It's a buffet type, you can eat as much as you like, and the selection of products is really great, everything is fresh and nicely cooked. The gardens are beautiful, spa is an absolute joy! We've played tennis, Spanish puddle, squash and ping pong a lot - the courts are available most of the time.

Review 115:Would have like the fridge stocked each day with water at least as we had a small baby and had to keep going to bar daily

Review 116:Other guest where nice and plenty for children to do!? Travis loved the pool

Review 117:Repair work and one pool closed. Not informed before stay. Breakfast good but not shown were anything was in restaurant during stay. Disappointed in stay.

Review 118:Room was very good and hotel position good.

Review 119:The big swimming pool was under maintenance and was therefore not in use for our entire stay. And it didnt tell us about this on the website or anywhere!

Review 120:We liked the hotel, it looked very classy and smart. The evening entertainment was fun and had good bands.

Review 121:Some areas of the hotel requires repairs (painting etc). Rooms are equiped with old style furnitures which not everybody likes.

Review 122:This hotel has large rooms with nice terrace and also large and quite clean bathroom. There are clean and nice pools in the hotel area with a lot of sunbeds available. Wide variety of food available during breakfast and dinner so everybody will find something favorite.

Review 123:No bad experience as all requests were met promptly and with a smile

Review 124:Sense of space and the availability of loungers at the pools but above all the true helpfulness of staff

Review 125:Booked a half board room and breakfast and dinner was included. However, it was a bit odd that drinks (not even coke or water) were included in that. When we arrived our room wasn't ready. It took 2.5 hours after normal check in time to be ready for us. However, the receptionist did comp us one drink each from the bar while we waited.

Review 126:The food was great and everyday there was something different to try. The hotel was about a 5-10 min walk from the beach. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a late flight our last day and we were able to leave our luggage and go to the beach for the day and book a FREE shower room before we made the journey home.

Review 127:The dining room was not good in the mornings. The hot food counter staff didn't know how to keep up to speed. Tables not cleared, no glasses available for juice. Need to improve this area. More like a 2 star.

Review 128:Comfortable room and bed. Lovely pool area and good chairs by the pool.

Review 129:Our room was located in an area of the hotel that was undergoing construction. Think scaffolding, plastic sheets, and paint chips. It was not aesthetically pleasing and certainly did not create the sensation of relaxation. We were not informed of this upon booking or check in. When we checked in, we were informed that we'd been upgraded to a room with pool views, which I didn't particularly note as good or bad. They seemed to forget to inform us that the pool our room overlooked was also under repair. Breakfast was just ok - great service from the staff but the food felt a bit cheap. We did not use the pool or eat other meals at the hotel.

Review 130:The weather on that side of the island is generally quite warm and sunny. This hotel offers free parking which most others that we looked into do not. Our room was large and quite clean.

Review 131:The standard room that we were given, room 136 was not what I had booked. It was dated and not of 5 star quality. I paid for an upgrade to a senior suite and this was an excellent room with better facilities and location.

Review 132:The location is excellent. The hotel is very grand yet comfortable. The pools were maintained excellently with superb cleanliness. Menu very varied and some options were superb.

Review 133:Some guests entertained on the balcony on the first night but it only happened once.

Review 134:The location was excellent, in a very quiet part of the island with a great beach.

Review 135:More choice of food at pool bar for non all inclusive guests.

Review 136:Great big pools, lovely comfortable sun loungers, pool towels each day, great weather, lovely big clean bedrooms. Lots of choices at breakfast, very well staffed hotel.

Review 137:Very crowded front desk at all times. A separate person to help people already staying at the Hotel would be useful, so they didn't have to wait 10 min in line for people just checking in and out if they needed anbiron, or squash rackets or a taxi.

Review 138:Good animation team Great magic show and Enigma show

Review 139:Balconys are not private. Fence rather than walls. So we had smokers either side.so didnt venture onto balcony as too open and got a lung full of smoke. Plus as see through fence you can hardly relax on the balcony as next door too open. No tea or coffee in room. Rooms large but tired looking.

Review 140:Rooms are large. Good food and friendly staff. Location. Pools are good. Food is good.

Review 141:Cold pools. Coffee at breakfast time.

Review 142:Hotel location perfect, quiet but only a short distance to the restaurants, etc. Impressive Reception/ bar area. Friendly staff. Choice of pools/ loungers. Spa. Breakfast was fantastic!!
