Review 1：!) On arrival one is sent to the appartment, whereas we felt someone from reception should have taken us and shown how the Washing Machine and Air Conditioner worked. 2) Fire Alarm had an annoying bright red flashing light in every room all night. (not as noticable' during the day) 3) SKY TV Channels (All 4 English Channels) continuously dropped their sound and had to be reset by the Reception staff 2/3 times a day) 4) The FREE WiFi service was weak and fairly useless 5) Condition of the ladders to and into the private roof pool were loose and unstable and therefore dangerous. Reported on the first day and promised to be repaired the next day. This did not happen. 6) The seating furniture in the lounge was severely worn and damaged and fell well below the standard expected from this appartment price scale.

Review 3：I really loved the location of the property and its ease to get to everything around it. The young man at the reception desk was the best customer service guy i have met in my life. The on campus restaurant had great food and great service as well.

Review 15：The size of Penthouse suite and all facilities in complex we're perfect as we we're travelling with son, daughter in law and 20 month old granddaughter. All staff we're friendly and welcoming. Wi-Fi worked great the whole time with 4 of us using our phones and tablets. We hired a car as the resort is away from bars etc, we found the resort easily enough, took approximately 50 mins to get there. we would definitely stay there again.

Review 16：Apartments could be a lot cleaner with the complimentary shampoo dirty of foundation from the previous occupants along with cloths tags under the beds. There were webs hair and dust collecting in the corners of the corridors especially. Although toilets said they had been sanitazied you could see it was a quick clean and not a thorough one. The bed covers were stained. Window doors weren't as secure as one would expect although the blinds worked. No street lighting in the bottom area of the complex so if you were walking down the hill after eating in the resturant it was quite dark.

Review 17：The idea of the plunge pool is good. The apartments were a very good size. Well equipped kitchen. The young members of staff at the restaurant were very polite and accommodating although it seemed depending on the night depends the numbers of guests it could cater for.

Review 18：Lifeguards disinterested. Difficult to find. Booking.com advert says pet friendly but staff say seasonal. Paid 120 euros for 2 dogs!!! No idea why as not allowed anywhere on complex and walked on public exterior only. Are these payments a deterrent?

Review 20：I wasn't impressed with the up keep of the apartments. The corners of the floors had dust and webs. The en suite bathroom shower hadn't been cleaned properly and orange staining around the rim and under the step which when I wiped came off. It felt like the cleaners had changed the bed sheets only not washed the bed covers as they were stained. Depends where you are the free wifi isn't great or non existent.

Review 26：The wi-fi is poor - the speed was very slow when it did work and sometimes there was no access at all. There was only 1 English TV channel (ITV) which is fine if you like Jeremy Kyle. The two other channels BBC had no volume. No Sky sports in the bar. Not enough sunbeds - there is a battle to reserve your beds from about 9:30 am onwards. Shower pressure in main bedroom poor. No real welcome pack - could do with more about the facilities and what to see and do in the local area in the actual flat - this was available in the reception and a welcome sheet was given out - it was just a bit basic.

Review 27：The staff are friendly. I had a problem with the DvD player and this was sorted albeit I had to ask a couple of times for it to be done. Facilities are good, nice pool and tennis, table tennis, restaurant and bar - furnishings good and a good standard of cleanliness

Review 28：No BBQ - a big mistake. Added to this the kitchen equipment was completely inadequate for a family of five. It meant eating out every night (which I don't mind doing at all) but adds stress to the holiday as we had to get three younger children out of the pool and ready for the evening every night - would have been better to be able to cook (with a BBQ) frequently at the villa to make our lives more easy

Review 33：Parking spaces a bit tight and, as its on a hill, its a steep climb to reception and the restaurant/bar. Also, great care needed coming down the stairs from the roof terrace after using the hot tub, do not try them with wet feet as they are very slippery.

Review 35：The restaurant staff were unfriendly and the food was disgusting!!! None of us finished our food and EVERYTHING WAS MICROWAVED! Absolutely disgusted with the standards of cleanliness in the restaurant and the quality of food. The free wifi was non existent! There was no wifi in the apartment and the restaurant was the only place you could get some wifi, but we went to the restaurant to get it, they switched it off!

Review 36：The area was beautiful and the apartment was very clean. Lifeguards were very attentive and the reception staff were lovely.

Review 37：Large pool filter was not working properly, very few unbrellas, telephone report on day of arrival and we left after 6 days and still not working! Wifi had a very poor reception!

Review 38：Master bathroom was not clean - there were stains on the toilet seat cover, floors and walls. The water glasses in the bathrooms were dirty - in fact, they were wet and stained, but wrapped back up in "sanitary" plastic wrap by housekeeping. As if we wouldn't notice ! Had to give them a good wash in the dishwasher. Dirty stained patio table. Mattresses were uncomfortable and covered with nonbreathable impermeable mattress pads. There are just not enough lounge chairs near the pools - the chairs fill up quickly and early. Swim towels are not available in the apartments or poolside - they have to be borrowed from the front desk and there is a 10 euro deposit for each pool towel. Kiddie pool has no filter - my toddler was sick for days after swimming in kiddie pool. Wifi didnt work during our entire stay. Parking is inconvenient - if staying in the apartments, the parking options are either street parking or lot parking on the other side of the complex, closer to the duplexes.

Review 39：Apartments are very large and spacious. Location in hills with terrific views from apartment terraces and pools. Several pools, including kiddie pool. Poolside bar with great frozen drinks. Free kids club available except on Sundays. Our kids loved the kids club. Nearby restaurants, including great Indian food, and Mercadona market just a few minutes drive downhill.

Review 40：Ordered dinner. Both fillet steaks arrived grossly under cooked. No pool beds available after 11 am

Review 42：Cleanliness of villa was not to a good standard. Ants on counter tops on arrival. Outside furniture cloth was worn and split when sat on. Wifi and TV reception was terrible and unavailable for most of the stay. When the pool attendant treated the pool with chemicals no warning were given to potential swimmers not to use the pool. Cleaners only came in to make beds twice in a 14 night stay both times after we had been there 8 days already. Beds were hard and uncomfortable

Review 45：The apartments were spacious, light and airy appliances were all in working order however air con was really noisy impossible to have on at night due to the noise generated as it was located next to the main bedroom window. Nearly all the door knobs were faulty including those leading to the main balcony frustrating to say the least. The wifi is non existant and is being represented badly in the hotel advert it sells "free wifi" and this is generally untrue we were six adults with iphones snd none if us could access wifi anywhere in the complex. The logistics of the complex were not great either it is built in a steep mountain and imagine the trek we had to take everyday just to have a bite in the restaurant which is situated at the peak and our apartment was at the lowest level. The kids club was great as was the swimming pool and general relaxing areas. Someone however should look at the automatic locking gate leading from block 4 to the pool very noisy and disturbing us from very early in the morning as we had one of the ground apartments. The restaurant staff were very friendly and food was generally ok except the paella which was excellent.

Review 49：We had a penthouse apartment. There was so much space - we were twoadults and a 10 and 13 yr old. The bedrooms were clean, spacious andcomfortable. The rooftop pool was great and again so much space withloungers and tables and chairs. The sports facilities were fab for thekids - the loved playing tennis and paddle ball. The 3 pools were fabtoo however there was a sign saying pool hours 10-6 which 1 is a bitridiculous as no children will ever be finished playing in a pool by 6so 2 it was great to see that rule wasn't enforced as our childrenas well as others were playing until 8/9 pm in them. We ate in therestaurant on 3 occasions - the food was very nice and great value. Itwas lovely for the kids to be able to go for a game of pool in the gamesroom after meals which allowed us to have a glass or two of wine incomfort!! The staff were very helpful. Great customer service andcommitment to helping their guests were shown eg. On the day before weflew back I had a problem with my airline app that wouldn't allow meto check in via my mobile. The receptionist allowed me to log into myaccount from their computer and they even printed off our boardingpasses for us. The location is off the beaten track so a car is a mustbut that is well explained on their website. It is actually a great baselocation for exploring the costa del sol. Once you find it the firsttime its very easy access to get on and off the motor way.

Review 53：Having looked for somewhere to stay, I came across this place and despite some of the slightly negative reviews I gave it a go....and I am so glad I did. Travelling with an 18 month old, this place could only be described as ideal and amazing. Clean and spacious, fantastic facilities and a truly memorable experience. We will definitely be coming back again. Regarding the Wifi - it works pretty much everywhere within the complex and as it was a holiday - do you really need it!?! Amazing time, fantastic staff, ideal for children and adults alike and suitable for those with mobility issues too. Cant rate it high enough!!

Review 69：We have stayed at Colina a number of times and have always been well looked after, the apartments are excellent and are spotless, if there is a problem it is taken care of right away by the very capable staff . I must make a comment about one of the staff her name is Inma and she goes out of her way to make your stay a great one.

Review 73：This resort is quite a long way off the main road. Having a car is a must. However that said its really peaceful and would be excellent for families with young children, especially if staying in ground floor apartments by pool. Hot tub is great, but this time we were there for ten days and it was therefore very grubby after three teens splashing in and out if it - could perhaps have been cleaned once during our stay. Cooker, micro, washer dryer are excellent quality, but quite tricky to work - a manual giving brief instructions would be really useful.

Spacious accommodation with high quality appliances. Swimming pools, ball court and tennis courts are excellent and even though we were there very late in the season there was no problem when we asked for the lights to be turned on. Spa pool on roof terrace of town houses are really great. Staff in the restaurant were really helpful, polite and friendly. Food selection is slightly limited, but of good quality. In our opinion this is a fantastic resort for value for money, spaciousness and quality - we may return for a third next year.

Review 84：The resort is located between Estepona and Marbella. It is about a 20 minute ride to Marbella where many of the area's activities happen. There is a beach that is a 5-minute drive away, but 15 minutes brings you to a nicer beach. Staying here would be very difficult if you don't have a car. Wifi is inconsistent. There are hot tubs in many of the villas, but these are kept at 35 degrees C and can't be turned up, which is pretty cool.

Review 85：This is a gorgeous resort with a number o pools, tennis, paddle tennis, basketball, and workout facilities. There is a nice restaurant and the staff are very helpful. There are also many restaurants in the area. If you have a car, this resort is an excellent base of operations.

The facilities were good but we did struggle to find the site as we arrived after midnight and we couldn't see the road signs. We were concerned that we would be sleeping on a lounger but the night poter let us thank god. The staff were friendly and the location was great as a base. Benhavis has some fab restaurants and you are only ten minutes away from Puerto Banus and 15 minutes from Marbella which is well worth a visit. The Old Town is beautiful.
