Review 1：Great central location. Nice touch by hotel to pick us up from the train station and drop us back off at the station. Comfortable room. Tasty breakfast buffet that was included.

Review 2：Breakfast buffet was okay but nothing to write home about. And if you show up towards the end of breakfast, food is pretty much picked over. However, their two adjoining restaurants have GREAT food and service.

Review 3：This hotel carries on the wonderful charm of Seiffen...with a different hand carved wooden doll marking every door! Staff is delightful and so accommodating, both in the hotel as well as the two adjacent restaurants. They met our train in olbernau gruenthal, which eliminated a transfer to a 45 minute business ride. That's customer service at its finest. Our second stay here...and won't be our last!

Review 4：We loved everything about our stay here. The staff was fantastic and although they did not speak much English, they went out of their way to satisfy all of our needs. Our arrival was delayed by a very bad storm and we actually had to help a man lift up a fallen tree that blocked the entrance to the town! Therefore we didn't arrive until midnight when the reception is normally closed but we were still greeted by a smiling woman who waited for us to arrive! We loved this hotel and town!

Review 6：Location was great! Easy walk to most all of the shops and attractions in Seiffen. The breakfast was well appointed and restocked throughout the posted time. Elevator was a bonus but it stops on half floors if mobility is a concern call ahead.

Review 7：The Wifi in my particular room was not strong and neither my iPhone nor my iPad would connect. I had to gone into another part of the hotel to get these devices to connect. My PC did connect in the room.

Review 12：Loved the size of the room and bathroom. Stayed with a friend for a shopping excursion. Staff very friendly, let us keep our car at the hotel the next day so we could shop. Bed was comfortable. Several English t.v. channels.

Review 16：Great Location in the heart of the City. The Bar in the Hotel had SKY TV which was a BIG plus for me. We were able to have a drink, relax and watch a Bayern Game after a BIG day of shopping. Oh and the food in the Hotel Restaurant was very good.

Review 18：We can't say enough about this hotel. It is the perfect location in visiting this fairy tale town chock full of nutcrackers, woodcarvings, historical sights and fantastic views. Every room has a painted wooden figurine to welcome you at your door. The restaurant breakfast is beyond wonderful and the dinners are some of the best we have had in Germany. The sauerbraten melts in your mouth!

Review 31：The hotel was very centrally located and was great for a one night stay in Seiffen. The hotel restaurant was also very good. Be sure to look around at the Wooden figures in the hotel entry area, as I found some very unique gifts that I would not have found otherwise.

Review 32：Parking is a real hassle but parking anywhere in Seiffen is a hassle. Wehad stayed here before so knew what to expect. At least you can pull upand deposit your luggage before parking "up the hill" (usually). Justdidn't expect that much snow not being cleared around the facility andthe town to get to the parking. Especially during Christmas marketseason when so many people are around. But you have to expect snowbecause you are in Germany, in December, in a mountainous area. So youwear you snow boots and enjoy!

Review 33：Location right in the middle of shopping. Restaurant and waite staff areexcellent. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Front desk staff is veryhelpful. We don't speak much German so it was helpful that they spokesome English. This is our second stay. We will stay again. We had agreat time and shopped and drank gluhwein. Then we shopped some more anddrank some more gluhwein. Happy Holidays!

Review 34：With my 82 year old mother, it was a little tough to get to our roomwhich was up a spiral staircase.

Review 35：First of all, the receptionist spoke a little bit of English which washelpful for me! I spoke enough German that we could understand eachother. The hotel was at the main cross roads of Seiffen which meant easyaccess to many of the shops selling wooden products. The restaurant,hotel room and breakfast were excellent! I'd stay there again!

The town of Seiffen is wonderful -- the shopping is like Christmas every day. The hotel is beautifully located. In addition, the restaurant is fantastic and very modestly priced.

Review 39：The hotel is the most centrally-located hotel in Seiffen - literallysteps away from shopping, restaurants, the church and the museum. Therooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a veryrobust continental with the addition of hot items - eggs and bacon.Service was very good - and the staff were all very helpful andprofessional. The gluhwein and bratwurst stand outside made a quicksnack while continuing to shop very easy as well! And although it wasearly winter when we were there - there is a very nice outdoor beergarden there as well.

Review 40：From the minute we steped into the Buntes Haus from the time we left, weloved every minute of it. Location is perfect, right in the center ofthis cute little village of Seiffen. We enjoyed the 'Gluehwein Stand'right infront of the entrace, as well as dinner at the hotel'srestaurant. Our meal was delicious, the interior design following thetheme of the village, Breakfast was plentyful and delicious. A typicalGerman breakfast buffet with friendly staff. Rooms are tastefullydecorated, beds super comfy and clean. Highly recomment the Bunte Haus.

Review 41：What a great hotel!! Everything was perfect for our short stay to buysome wooden Christmas decorations. Warm friendly welcome, comfortablelarge room, great beds, and great food at a reasonable price. I wouldhighly recommend this hotel, it's right in the center of the Village andshops. English is spoken throught the Village and our little dog waswelcome in the hotel and in the shops, no one turned her away.

Review 42：We stayed here for 3 nights in summer 2012 on our second visit to Seiffen. The hotel staff is kind and gracious and went completely out of their way to ensure that all of our needs were met. The hotel is cute, comfortortable, and the location in Seiffen could not be better (on a main corner). The 2 restaurants were easy for every meal, you may order off the varied menu. We would definintely choose this hotel again!
