Reviews for Parador de Artíes

Review 1:The whole experience of staying is this paradore was absolutely dreadful. The man on front desk was most unfriendly and unhelpful. Insisting we had drinks we hadn't had. The bedrooms were in need of not only modernising but repairing. Dripping toilet, no hot water, crack in sink, sink pop up plug, would not work....I shall stop there and just say, please do not stay here, if you like decent accommodation.

Review 2:The pretty town of Arties and surrounding area.

Review 3:Nothing

Review 4:Cute quiet little village out of the ski season. Fantastic young team running the restaurant, nice to see happy and cheerful staff providing efficent and professional service!

Review 5:Our room was just behind the roof: it was really too hot with no chance to have fresh air. The equipments (bed, carpet, light, ...) were old : the price was just too high for this sort of equipments. The breakfast was not included in the Booking price.

Review 6:The place

Review 7:Room temperature could be a little lower.

Review 8:We just can't get enough of this place. It is the second time we've stayed there this year. Rooms are nice and cosy. The whole place is very clean. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. A nice getaway from the city.

Review 20:Wonderful views from rear of hotel.Very pleasant reception staff.

Review 21:Nothing apart from the location was particularly notable. But the location is so superb that nothing else matters.

Review 22:The location is absolutely amazing. It's at the end of a 14km drive to the very end of an amazing valley. It is magical and unbelievable. The Parador is totally surrounded by towering cliffs. The walks are fantastic. I wanted to give the location 11/10. And that would be mean.

Review 23:chose hotel for the pool, but couldn't use it ,as it joined the outside pool-had loads of bugs in it,and wasn't heated. also no tea making facilities

Review 24:b b reakfast

Review 25:Wi-fi was only available in public areas and alhough this wasinconvenient, we knew it going in. I would be more selective next time.

Review 26:Although not as luxurious as other Paradors, this facility wasadequately appointed, clean and comfortable. We selected mainly as themid-point between Zaragoza and Andorra la Veill.

Review 27:We had a room with stairs, really nice, great view, but the top floorwas relatively warm. It had airco, and maybe that could have solved it,but we didn't bother to try to adjust it.

Review 28:Location, Staff (very helpful in two situations were in most hotels theywould simply have said that it was 'impossible'. Saved the day), allvery nice. And, not to forget, breakfast was excellent.

Review 29:The Parador is in a lovely village with plenty of restaurants. The scenery is really outstanding with lots of walks and other villages to discover by car. The room was very comfortable and the hotel and staff were 1st class

Review 30:Its an incredible hotel. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were fantastic, very polite and adhered to our everyneed. The restaurant was superb and the food top notch, with attentivewaiters. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back with our kidsnext year.

Review 31:We moved the beds to the opposite wall so we could wake up to the glorious view. Then we moved them back again before we left! It was also very warm in our room even after we turned off the heat but we were very happy that we could open the window which enabled us to regulate the heat just fine. Wish they'd built a fire in the lobby fireplace! That's all.

Review 32:The village of Arties was absolutely storybook--unspoiled, delightful--and the view from our room's window, of a snow-covered peak rising above the rooftops, was unforgettable--picture-perfect. Nights were pleasantly quiet, and birdsongs in the morning were a joy. Breakfast was sumptuous and delicious, and there too the views were great. The woman at the desk was sweet and efficient. The restaurants in town were superb. The drive up to the ski area at Baqueira Beret was easy, and the skiing was divine. We couldn't have been more thrilled to discover this place.

Review 33:Wall between the bedrooms were paper thin. I could have a conversationwith my friend in the next bedroom without having to shout.
