Review 1：We absolutely loved our stay here at Hotel Verdemar. The bed was so wonderfully comfortable - finally a bed in Spain that's an actual queen and not two singles stuck together! The hotel was clean, modern, staff was helpful and friendly. The gorgeous beach is just steps away. Nice breakfast as well, although missing some fruit!
Review 2：This was a return visit after a year. Disappointed this time.Much more expensive,smaller room, no balcony this time and no facilities such as shop or bar restaurant open nearby. Perhaps the old town provides a better offering?

Having stayed in several accomodations over a two week walking holiday in Northern Spain, I can safely say that this hotel provided the best breakfast. Receptionist was also very helpful in suggesting where to eat and where to see. Lovely town.We will be back again!

Review 7：The hotel was a just a short walk to the lovely beach and a 15 minute stroll to Ribadesella itself. The receptionist was extremely helpful and spoke a little English. The room was very well presented with a lovely spacious bathroom. The breakfast was good and served in a lovely room.
Review 8：Noisy with every noise echoing in the room corridor. Need to have a door between communal areas of the ground and upper areas of bedrooms. Or consider different flooring to absorb noise amplification at 2am, 6am and 7am onwards for the rest of the day. An issue when on holiday...

Review 37：As residents at the hotel who arrived after a long day walking camino we were disappointed to fnd there were no restaurant facilities at hotel - we had to dine elsewhere in the town (had a truly dreadful meal - this was not the hotel's fault). On our return to hotel just before 11pm we found the bar ready to close at 11pm!
