Review 1：Bathroom was filthy. Mold and bacteria growing in shower, spit splashes on tap and filthy mirror. Someone's pubic hair in various parts of shower and bathroom floor. Was not cleaned in a long time. Broken shower head holder so one handed showering. Parts of room very dusty. We arrived late and quickly dropped our bags and then drove off to find food. When we returned we saw the bathroom. I've stayed in rough places because I was paying $8 a night, but for $55 plus tax this place was a joke. We needed somewhere close to the caves we saw after landing. Not worth the money. Room not soundproof like one of the points advertised. Loud music across the street till late made it hard to get to sleep. Other bookings on here that we had say 18% tax and 10% service charge exclude or included. So I expect to pay what it says. Here the guy at reception tried to add 10% service charge and I said I was not paying it as it was not advertised with the booking.

Review 2：The room in the ground floor was clean but really small, the shower and bathroom looked used if I compare it to the photos. Loud music in the appartments next to the hostal. After two nights we moved to an appartment in 1st floor and it was much better then the room in the ground floor, it was definitely worth the money.

Review 3：The garden and pool area were cleaned every day, private beach is fine but you should rather visit the city beach just a few minutes by walk or go even further, there are not so many tourists.The stuff is friendly but be prepared to speak Spanish, just only on girl at the reception speaks little English.

Review 4：Hot water was not consistent and my shower head was handheld without a wall clip (looked like there was a broken one) so you had to hold the shower head with one hand if you wanted any water on your body. Plus they gave me a list of rules that seemed paternalistic like "please inform staff when you're leaving the hotel". It wasn't strictly enforced so it was fine (and really, I wouldn't have minded telling them anyway) but it was a bit odd. Plus they only take cash and I don't like walking around that country with a ton of cash on me and the nearest ATM is 3 km from the hotel aka a motorcycle taxi ride. For $75 per night I think a working shower can be expected.

Review 5：Absolutely beautiful outdoor space -- nice furniture, excellent layout of the grounds, relaxing and shaded bar area, even the weird fence/gate affronting the ocean was somehow aesthetically pleasing. Rooms were very simple but otherwise clean and functional. Kitchenette was actually quite nice despite not having much use for it personally.

Review 11：I love the cleanliness of the complex and pool area. The staff was very friendly and acomodating. Also, I enjoyed the fact they had a terrace with a bar in which my boyfriend and I lounged at several nights. It is a great place definitely would consider going back
