Review 1：A Christmas party in the hotel bar made far too much noise until 1-30 am, leading to a poor night's sleep on the second night.

Review 3：The thunder and lightning (unusual for the time of year). But that wasn't the hotel's fault!

Review 4：We enjoyed a week in this special hotel: lovely, friendly helpful staff; fantastic breakfast -continental with so much choice, cheeses, cold meats, fresh fruit and yoghurt and amazing breads and pastries; uniquely styled and comfortable rooms- the hotel has a real history and its current incarnation is the result of Britta's and Christophorus' loving and visionary restoration. We both really enjoyed a couple of musical evenings put on by the hotel. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with a pool area and plenty of peaceful places to sit and enjoy a drink

Review 5：Almost delinquent man in charge at 8am on Saturday said he was toobusy to order us a taxi. Did he have a number we could call then? No.Is your name Basil? This place was never a palacio and they shoul dropthe title!

Review 13：We visited out of season, so we got a beautiful room for half the price, and virtually the whole hotel to ourselves, but unfortunately this meant the restaurant wasn't available to sample, but the breakfast was included which was excellent and the staff very helpful, cheerful and friendly. Being out of season we also missed out on the Live music which is often held within the hotel in season.. We will just have to return in season

Review 15：The place is beautiful. Manfred made us feel special and he was very helpful with recommendations on restaurants in the area. The room (la Familia) was magnificent and well kept. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge. Very close to Drach's caves (30 minutes by car) The decor was very nice The place is quiet. Breakfast was wonderful

Review 23：lovely lovely room. Very nice unobtrusive staff. Tapas during a music night were amazingly good quality. I really loved this place. The rooms are all so special. Enormous bathroom, balcony, and 4 poster bed.

Review 24：On one occasion a chap was allowed to smoke several large cigars in the bar, which made the atmosphere very uncomfortable for guests and staff. TV had very few English channels.

Review 26：Some plumbing issues need to be addressed: sewage smell that filled the room, jacuzzi-style tub that no longer worked, and water that was not hot enough. The pillows and towels could use an update. There were also only exterior shutters, but no curtains...

Review 32：So very chilled for an up market hotel, delightful staff, excellent breakfast and a unique, beautifully restored building on the edge of Arta at the foot of the natural park. Each room is very different so it feels like a new experience if you stay a few times.

Review 51：Beautiful location situated in a picturesque old village - Lovely staff at Sant Salvador - calm, courteous and so relaxing. The rooms are all lovely - each with it's own particular charm. We are already planning when we can escape to this lovely place again!

Review 52：A former heritage villa/palace converted into a hotel! Very charming! Large rooms, wonderful interior decor and furniture the complements the setting. Restaurant serves excellent food which understandably is also recommended in several travel guides. Great place to lounge around, stroll through the little town, and enjoy some calm.

Review 54：The property is located in scenic place. The interior is just perfect within the tiny details. It is really a design boutique hotel. We had fantastic junior suite with nice view out from the balcony. The high ceiling gives a feeling of splendid space. The Jacuzzi bath was a wonderful surprise. I wish it was warmer we could enjoy also the time by the pool. Breakfast was great with choice of warm and cold. Excellent cheese selection, great coffee.

Review 58：We stayed in the beautiful 'Abuelo' suite for Valentines weekend. I really loved the decor of living room and we enjoyed just relaxing there, have a glass of wine or reading the paper. The apartment was warm and had a really relaxing ambience. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the jacuzzi bath. The bed was firm and comfy and we both slept very well both nights. The room looked out up towards the church of Sant Salvadore, and we could hear the church bells chime every hour. It's on the edge of town so there is the wonderful smell and feel of the country side
