Reviews for La Estancia Villa Rosillo

Review 1:All good

Review 2:Very friendly and kind hosts. Raining and cold one day and Victoria's[ owner] father Antonio took us [ we had no car] to Rio Tinto [mines] in his car and collected us later. Briilliant day.. [Antonio had started the trip by offering us a glass of local sweet wine to warm us up !... so kind ]

Review 3:Was promised parking and second night it was a surprise no space available. If we had been told no problem parking on the street, it would have been better. At first we thought we were in a pickle but no problem parking on street and the hostess could have been more honest about the parking situation. Created more stress than was necessary.

Review 4:Great location for caves and just at edge of historical area.

Review 5:Parking a bit complicated. Wifi with unstable signal, you need to walk the yard to find spot where wifi works.

Review 6:Nice yard, spatial. Private pool. Washing machine in the room. Perfect spot for those makong longer road trips.

Review 7:Can't speak highly enough of the management. Victoria was so helpful. Everything was excellent except the wi-fi. Sometimes had to sit outside to stay on but small complaint. Thank you Victoria.

Review 8:Self catering but no toaster and no grill. No hairdryer, no iron and WiFi signal only good near reception. These items were all listed on booking.com but where not present in the villa.

Review 9:Lovely owners, good location and nice environment.

Review 10:Beautiful garden and pool, right on the edge of the town. The owners (father and daughter) were helpful and charming. Parking fairly easy on nearby streets. Excellent value.

Review 11:We didn't self-cater except for breakfast but it wound have been good to have plates/bowls and a chopping board in the kitchen. If you're thinking of self-catering bring crockery with you - there are lots of pots and pans.

Review 12:Central Aracena location, beautiful garden with sparrows and orange blossom, very friendly and helpful owner, spacious villa

Review 13:Wifi reception was a bit patchy in parts of the villa we stayed at, but no big deal.

Review 14:The staff were helpful and friendly and the villas were very homely and well-equipped.

Review 15:Kitchen: too small, no gas on arrival no e/kettle at all, no toaster on arrival the toaster supplied was not automatic and out of the arc.(considered dangerous) , no DVD player on arrival and remote did not function, No sink plug or bowl. Bathroom: no bath plug, bathroom door would not close.not a hook anywhere in the accommodation, shower patheticly weak. if hot water tap is on in the kitchen the shower goes off. We suggest that Booking.com visits apartment 6 at this location and adjusts the ratings according. We could go on and on about the shortcomings of this apartment but if you wish us to trust your ratings in the future please ensure that they are correct. This accommodation rates no more than a 3 and that is being generous.

Review 16:Location

Review 17:So nice to have a fireplace, still, the chunks of wood provided (which we appreciated) were so huge that we could barely get them burning.

Review 18:Friendly people, lovely place, very dog friendly - they told us to let our dog have a little off leash run in the small garden, nice views and great two floor apartment with fireplace.

Review 19:The accommodation was a little cold downstairs even with the air conditioning heating on. There was no door on the fireplace so the Villa became smokey! A kettle, shampoo, tea & coffee would be nice. Having said that I would definitely recommend & come back.

Review 20:The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They not only gave us some oranges from their trees but a free bottle of red wine from Portugal. The owner also gave us a lift back to the bus station as it was raining. The daughter, Veronica spoke English which we were very grateful for. The grounds and villas were well maintained.

Review 21:The garden, space in the apartment ,especailly the large bedroom and 2 bathrooms, access to shops cafes and the caves and castle are all great .

Review 22:Ants found in kitchen, pillows on bed uncomfortable

Review 23:Location, friendly owner and staff, well maintained swimming pool, good towels.

Review 24:Aracena Feria noise until daylight No outside seating

Review 25:Victoria really helpful and friendly

Review 26:Extremely interesting location. Excellent hiking opportunities. Good bars and restaurants within walking distance of accommodation.

Review 27:Large room on two floors, might get cold. Thin walls; can be noisy. Beds most be made yourself.

Review 28:Familiary athmosphere

Review 29:Such nice people

Review 30:during our stay, internet was extremely slow. Other than that, everything else was good!

Review 31:location, owner is very nice and friendly, apartment

Review 32:Nothing

Review 33:Comfortable and spacious villa in secluded estancia with pretty garden and pool, but also close to good restaurants and bars. Very helpful and friendly owners. Parking and shops nearby. Excellent centre for exploring Natural Park and local towns.

Review 34:Family owners very friendly and helpful regarding places to eat. Apartment set in lovely location around grassy area with views of the castle. Lovely that the pool was open in mid May.

Review 35:It is a bit noisy, due to traffic. Also the house itself creaked a bit.

Review 36:Aracena is a lovely town and this property is ideally suited for exploring the town and the sierra. Our kids loved the swimmingpool. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Review 37:Victoria Rosillo and her father are wonderful persons, any inconvenience, such as a bit of rumour of the neighbours is simply forgotten because of their presence!

Review 38:The family running this hotel are so friendly and attentive. They really went out of their way to help us with an unexpected situation making sure it wouldn't spoil our holiday and thanks to them we had a wonderful time.

Review 39:The best days of this hotel are definitely long gone. There's dog shit in the communal garden and the pool is a thick soup of green algae. Also, the walls are surprisingly thin, so you'll hear every sound your neighbours make (and they'll hear every sound you make).

Review 40:- Only 1 remote control for 3 ac's that needed to be switched on and off- chimnea has a small escape pipe,so if you light the fire the apartment fills with smoke - no oven (as mentioned in description on website);only microwave - we felt the photps and evaluations were a bit misleading...certainly not as fancy as described.

Review 41:Location, friendly owner and daughter, comfortable apartments (that Iwouldn't really call 'villas'), nice garden

Review 42:A little bit noisy but only in the day.

Review 43:Beautiful garden. Very nive appartement. Near every thing

Review 44:No kettle in kitchen!

Review 45:Location,friendly people, big room

Review 46:Extremely friendly and helpful. Home-owned atmosphere with owner's personal treatment. They even arrange a package delivery for my left items...

Review 47:Metal staircase. Seem to be in all the cottages and the neighbours one can be heard

Review 48:Helpful owners. Wood fire

Review 49:you can hear the neighbors because the walls are very thin

Review 50:Nice atmosphere. Beautiful apartments.
