Reviews for Cabinn Metro
Review 1:The mall was the only thing around the hotel and there was some construction going on at the time of my stay. Also, the room was very small.
Review 2:The location, the cleanliness, the close proximity to the train station, mall and 24/7 grocery shop in the mall.
Review 3:Little bit far from city center... (Near a shopping mall and train station tho (: ) Need a separation for the toilet and shower place. After taking shower, floor was wet and uncomfortable.
Review 4:Very clean and functional room. Receptioner was really friendly and nice. they accepted us to check in even it was 6 am. Wide screen tv and small tea pod make our stay more comfortable. For me around 158 height small woman, bed was enough to big and more comfortable than I expected.
Review 5:I did not sleep well. I can hear the snoring from next door. It is also hot in the room and there is no temperature control. Bed is also too small for me. Shower is also very tiny and could be slippery. Breakfast has limited option of hams, cheese, bread and cereal. There are no eggs and bacon.
Review 6:Close to airport and mall. Staff is accommodating.
Review 7:Small bathroom :)
Review 8:Location is perfect. 2 minutes from the big mall with grocery store and a lot of restaurants offering buffet for 190 DKK per person. Also metro station and train station is 5 minutes from the hotel. The location is quite and clean.
Review 9:It was one of the worst accommodation experiences of our lives. - the room was so tiny that you could barely move around - the bathroom is 1/2 sqm - there were no heating facilities in the room and it was freezing most of the time - the mattresses were awful - we woke up with back pains every day of our staying there - not clean at all - the mattress and the pillows have a funny smell - they didn't restock the bathroom supplies and we had to specifically ask the receptionist for some items
Review 10:Location out of town but only 10 minutes by metro.
Review 11:Friendly staff, warm welcome, comfortable sleep, we were impressed with the breakfast, excellent value for money. Staff in all areas of the hotel were professional and friendly.
Review 12:Room for three was very small, but it was still good value, just be prepared to be organised with your luggage! Breakfast is fine for the first day but once you find your feet, there are better options nearby.
Review 13:Location was great, new to restaurants offering discount and the metro. Staff were very helpful and friendly, we had to change rooms due to new year revellers, staff didn't hesitate! We purchased a Copenhagen card which made life even easier.
Review 14:Good position for the Bella Centre but not for Central Copenhagen. The rooms are small and used to be value for money, but other hotels have started to offer just as good a price.
Review 15:Reasonable value for money. Friendly staff and efficiently run
Review 16:We got changed almost 20% more for booking via Booking.com 100 DKK extra for guest parking in the hotel. Not even covered or secured parking.
Review 17:Clean, comfortable rooms. Excellent. Hop skip and jump away from the Orestad station... and from there just 4 minutes by train to the Copenhagen central station. A water boiler for tea or coffee provided in the rooms. Nice staff. Lots of parking Outlet shopping in strolling distance Close to airport Just off the main highway.
Review 18:The water dispenser was so dirty. I had doubt to get water from it.
Review 19:I liked most is our room. Small but all are needs are there.Very comfortable and clean. My daughter is very vocal that she wants to stay there again.
Review 20:We didn't have a bad experience, it is just a "bare bones" hotel. Everything is very simple (including the breakfast) and small.
Review 21:The location was great. Close to the Metro/train and around the corner from a huge shopping center. The staff were very friendly, and everything was neat and tidy.
Review 22:Everything is automated, not a human being in sight. This will the first place where machine start taking over
Review 23:Everything is automated, not a human being in sight. Simple and straight forward
Review 24:I slipped and fell quite badly in the shower/toilet cubicle on the overly slippery floor. In my fall, I sliced the top of my right foot on the steel cover plate of the door frame sill. Injury appeared worse than it was. Mentioned slippery floor to staff following incident.
Review 25:The hotel was easy to find and parking was simple even though the parking area was a little run-down in its appearance and security was minimal.
Review 27:We had to share a twin room and the beds are crazy narrow. I nearly fell out twice during the night.
Review 28:Close links to the Metro, but you need to get the train to and from the airport.
Review 29:The rooms are very tiny and slightly reminiscent of a prison cell! Due to this, the price of the room felt quite expensive for what you are getting! The rooms are very basic, but you would surely notice this before booking. Unable to see out of the (tiny) window as it is covered by some sort of advertising flag. Two single beds opposed a double meant they kept sliding apart. Could hear repetitive banging/smacking out in the street throughout the whole night, which is strange as the streets are normally deserted. Think it may have been one of the advertising flags smacking against the building. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere - the streets around the hotel have no bars, pubs, or shops (other than a shopping centre which shuts early and one single convenience store). If you want to do anything at all in the evening, you need to jump on a train which is thankfully nearby!
Review 30:Very close to the airport (5 minute drive). Taxis can also pick you up from reception within minutes once ordered. Great free wifi which was easy to connect to and fast. Everything is very clean and the rooms were tidied well by the maids in the day. The beds (although basic) were still comfortable. The train and metro stations are very close by (5-10 minute walk). Copenhagen central is one stop away on the train (8 minutes) and Christianshavn is 3 or 4 stops away on the metro (although there is not a lot there). The metro is 24 hours and is driverless, so even in the silly hours of the night there is still one every ten minutes. Good central heating kept us warm when it was freezing outside and was easy to adjust. The bathroom is tiny but excellently designed - all water on the floor dries within minutes due to the modern design which is crucial seeing as the shower is practically next to the toilet and they share the same bit of floor! Considering how small the room is, everything has been designed to maximise space brilliantly. Good reception area with plenty of seating. Very modern building. The room was one of the cheapest we could find in/around Copenhagen. (whilst not being old, dirty and tired)
Review 31:The elevators has not enough capacity, long waiting time. The madras was worn-out. The chairs in the break first area was dangerous, 3 different persons had accidents including a mom with a baby.
Review 32:The staff was very polite and professional. Good price. Easy concept.
Review 33:Might be too far from city centre but transport and city passes make it worth it
Review 34:Proximity to large shopping centre and public transport stations. Amenities sufficient for solo business travel.
Review 35:Drinks, water is priced very high. As there is no local shop nearby we are forced to buy from the hotel. Those who have time take a walk to the nearby mall which has a super market priced very low. Buy there
Review 36:Convenient location, helpful staff, clean rooms.
Review 37:The room was awful, couldnt adjust the water in shower, it was superhot. No hairdryer, lousy breakfast, I will never go to Bunk inn again, I need comfortable bed and room and bathroom especially when I travel
Review 38:Building was beautiful
Review 39:Rooms very small and basic, as it was already said. But it is very bad that the windows are glued with the advertisment stickers so you don't get any view, you just see a big blue sticker on the glass... The bathrooms are super small with the shower that could get you all wet when you wash hands. Very little shower gel and soap, not sufficient to clean yourself up. The website says you have a hairdryer, but you need to pay a deposit for it, which is ridiculous. Basic breakfast with no coffee machine and nothing warm. The breakfast area is on -1 in a concrete shelter without windows. Not a place to enjoy the morning.
Review 40:Good location near the subway, airport and business facilities of Orestaden district. Nice and helpful staff. Good price for Copehagen.
Review 41:The room is tiny. There's no room for a queen-sized bed, so instead there is a bunk bed with narrow beds. It didn't bother me, but know what you're walking into.
Review 42:By far the cheapest hotel I could find in Copenhagen. And other than the small room, it's perfectly nice. 7 minutes away from a metro line that goes to the center in 10 min and runs 24/7.
Review 43:The room was clean and quite comfortable. Although small, it was incredibly functional. Pretty fast internet, accessible from the room. Very nice breakfast for an affordable price. Easy access from the airport.
Review 44:In room lighting (the lights on the bed) is glarey. Shower controls not straightforward, and with one tap for the basin and shower, it's too easy to drench yourself. Breakfast is entirely forgettable. The bed is way too basic, for no good reason - too hard, too narrow.
Review 45:A useful, cheap option with "all you need to sleep". Close proximity to shopping mall & restaurants. Close to airport. Parking.
Review 46:Showers/bathrooms were weird. They combined them together so if I took a shower, I'd get the entire bathroom floor soaked. Bunk beds were very high with no rail to prevent you from falling off. You need your room card to turn off the lights. Kind of strange.
Review 47:Clean, nice employees, not terribly expensive, breakfast not included but not too expensive either.
Review 48:Location - room £77 taxi £10 from airport Taxi £20 to city Taxi £20 from City Taxi £25 back to city Bathroom/shower area PRICELESS! "I shall not return"
Review 49:This hotel is nearer to the airport than the city so be aware - the sleeping area was of a reasonable size but the bathroom was probably the smallest and worst I have stayed in - EVER!
Review 50:The beds where uncomfortable. I didn't like the size of the duvet - my 6 year ole nephew, would be able to sleep under that but not me. It was hard to use the shower and the bathroom was to small. There was nothing warm/hot for breakfast - even the milk for cereal was cold. It was one of the cheapest hotels but still - too expensive for what you get.
Review 51:I liked the location of the hotel - it was close to the metro station and a shooping centre, where you could eat cheaper than in the town centre or buy some food at a market for lunch etc. The room was warm or even hot for the first two days. If you are looking for a cheaper hotel than I totally recommend it, but you have to spend around £8, which is 80kr every 24hrs for a transport ticket for metro, buses, trains and even a boat bus.
Review 52:We have to buy an adoptor to charge our cellphones. The bathroom was very tiny but duwable.
Review 53:Five minutes walk to the mall. Ten minutes to airport. Clean. They have good breakfast. The bed was soft and comfortable. Quite. The reception especially the Filipino guy on duty at night was very helpful and nice.
Review 54:I booked early and since my booking a number of residents posted bed bug allerts. Unfourtunately as soon as i arrived and looked carefully at the mattress seams I found 2 (dead) bugs. I was moved to another room but the incident rather blieghted my stay. Took BB precautions throughout stay -Keeping bags off floors and leaving nothing on the floor and the friendlystaff did offer to freeze all my belongings for the 24-48 hrs needed to kill the bugs in case any had climbed aboard my luggage. My principal concern is if I can find them why cant the cleaning staff and management? Bed bugs can happen in the best of hotels but they tend to happen more often in places with poorer cleaning standards.
Review 55:the best thing about this hotel is the location - close to the metro and the bella centre conference centre
Review 56:They would do well to get an airport shuttle or something. it is a far walk from the train (maybe 10 -15 minutes) and not near anything open at night.
Review 57:Cheap and clean room. In terms of your needing a place to stay on the cheap near the airport, it is great.
Review 58:Upper bunk is high up and can get a bit hot. Not easy for older folk.
Review 59:Very clean, modern. Near metro and rail to city. Next door to large mall shopping centre. Reasonable price for this area. Good breakfast but no eggs..
Review 60:Very small room, shower and toilet was in 1 'wardrobe' in the room.
Review 61:Close to metro and traim station, direct connection to the city centre. Good price of accomodation in comparisom with other hotels.
Review 62:Worst rooms ever, and not cleaning and better don´t talk about bathroom omg.
Review 63:The best is location very near metro train and buses, and only 5 mins to the citycentre
Review 64:The rooms are very small and the bathroom is "minimalistic":you can use the toilet and get a shower at the same time :p But I knewthis from start and also quite cheap so no surprise. The walls are verythin = you hear everything!
Review 65:The staff or the girl who welcomed me at the check-in was great:friendly, helpful and funny. Even if the rooms are basic and small, shemade this stay to a positive experience. The hotel is close to theairport if you need to catch a flight, it´s pratical.
Review 66:The bathroom is extremely small and it takes some maneuvering with the shower curtain to ensure that items don't get wet as the shower and toilet are the same small space.
Review 67:Very clean room and hotel and close to the metro. The breakfast had a good variety.
Review 68:Check in took over an hour, staff were stressed but I got to the front of a long queue and the girl just walked off for a break without a word leaving me to start again in a different queue Bar was behind check in so the same problem! there is ample room for a bar and plenty of thirsty customers so why noy
Review 69:Well positioned for the Bella centre, good parking, good value
Review 70:It was not particularly comfortable and there was some noise from the corridor. The window had an okay view, but the glass was painted.
Review 71:Location close to links to the airport and into the city. There is a large shopping centre almost next door and also quite a nice park just opposite. The area is an interesting one but not particularly vibrant. It is very quiet though. Wifi was good and the facilities were as expected for this price.
Review 72:On Booking.com I could not see any pictures of how the room could look like. In fact it offered us bunk beds when we reached there I was offered bunk beds in this price... it was disappointing specially booking.com should have provided these pictures.
Review 73:Luggage room after checkout..
Review 74:Housekepping staff did not replenish the toilletries (soap, toilet paper) when they ran out. Reception staff was helpfull and solved the problem. Shower head is fixed to the ceiling.
Review 75:Relatively close to subway and train station. Safe and modern neighbourhood with a shopping mall near the hotel. Clean room with comfortable bed. Helpfull staff at front desk.
Review 76:Had lost my neck chain and checked out. Called hotel to find that the cleaning lady found it and delivered to reception and that I can come and pick it up any time. Fantastic people.
Review 77:very close to metro and to Bella conference centre. good breakfast. quiet room. room was a double room with twin beds but these were practically touching each other - so room was too small to share with my colleague - would have been fine with my partner. would have been better to book a single room each.
Review 78:Good if travelling by car as parking available. Good value in case attending a conference in the nearby Bella Center. Easy and convenient travel in about 15 min to the main tourist attractions in the city and good connections to the airport and central train station.
Review 79:The rooms are very basic and very minimal - no hairdryer!
Review 80:The staff were fantastic and the location of the Cabinn metro was perfect for us as we were attending a conference in the Bella Center. Staff went above and beyond what they needed to do to help us as we also had a conference room booked. The staff made up for the very minimalist rooms.
Review 81:room maybe a little too small especially for 2 persons. Narrow beds
Review 82:Location close to congress centre, easy to reach the city by metro. Hotel clean, functional, good value, especially comparing to other expensive hotels
Review 83:The rooms are so small. Very basic room. No hairdryer (if you want it u have to pay for it).
Review 84:The location near the shopping Center Fields and near the Bella Center Convention center. It is also very close to airport and there is a metro and train station 7 minutes by walking distance.
Review 85:Breakfast area a bit busy with difficulty finding cutlery. Room could be a bit brighter - it reminded me of a cellar!
Review 86:location to bella center. 10 mins from airport by easy train.
Review 87:Wifi was incredibly slow and service at reception also slow- but very polite.
Review 88:very basic one nighter accommodation, near the airport (10 min walk to train station and a few stops to the airport) The rooms are small but clean. Good value for Copenhagen.
Review 89:Missing a restaurant in the hotel where enjoy a nice dinner. Only snacks available and you have to buy food or go to the commercial center near by....
Review 90:It's a one night hotel. The space in the room is very limited and the shower is not the european style, maybe very danish but not really confortable...
Review 91:i wish the breakfast included eggs. the shower experience was uncomfortable- consists of a curtain that closes off half of the bathroom (which is already tiny) and the whole floor ends up wet since there isnt a separation between the shower space and floor of the rest of the bathroom area.
Review 92:very clean room. gave me extra pillow when requested it without hesitation. internet worked great. close to the metro stop.
Review 93:Tiny room. Pay parking. Pay breakfast. So price seemed cheap, but wasn't. Only candy and soda at front desk. No restaurants in vicinity. Had to buy dinner in a gas station.
Review 94:Proximity to airport
Review 95:This hotel is really a dump. The rooms are tiny by any standard in the world, and it isn't very clean. My towel was basically a wash cloth with a hole it in. Low price...terrible hotel.
Review 96:The location is good and is close to the airport, a shopping mall and train station.
Review 97:Rooms are very small, bathrooms especially. It looks like a boat cabin. Breakfast could be more imaginative including more eggs, vegetables. Fancy from the outside but not so fancy inside. If it wasn't Copenhagen where hotels are expensive I would expect much more for the price.
Review 98:Hotel is quite new. It has good location if you need airport proximity and if you have a car so that you can easily approach anywhere and have simple parking behind hotel.
Review 99:Our expectations were set low, as wepnly wanted a room to crash-in for the night before our flight. But this was horrible. Unclean, uncomfortable beds, top bunk-bed not made, warm, noisy, horrible smell from the bathroom. Would have been equally comfortable sleeping on a bench in the airport.
Review 100:Nothing
Review 101:Windows in room are small so view restricted. No option for double bed, only bunk beds so not ideal for young couples.
Review 102:Friendly, helpful staff. Good choice for breakfast. Clean, comfy rooms. Close to Metro for access into city. Easy to drive to and good size car park.
Review 103:Need more elevators, the rooms are small, but you know that of course, stupid shower.
Review 104:Nice staff, new, clean and fresh building. Extremely good location, 100 m from my office.
Review 105:The fact that when you had a shower, the whole floor and counter top was drenched with water.
Review 106:The location was super - one train stop to the city centre and two to the airport - perfect! The breakfast was quite good for the money considering the cost of eating in Copenhagen.
Review 107:The walls between the rooms are quite thin. This isn't really much of an issue, except one night there was a screaming kid next door, bouncing around.
Review 108:This is a very clean, very modern hotel and nicely situated in the Orestad area of Copenhagen. It is next to the Fields shopping centre and a 5 minute walk from the Metro station, linking you with central Copenhagen and the airport. The rooms are small but if you're a solo traveller like me, it doesn't really matter too much. Plenty of facilities and the breakfast was very good too. I stayed in a Twin Commodore room and I found the beds to be extremely comfortable. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and spoke very good English.
Review 109:The size of rooms...very congested. Felt almost claustrophobic. No good ventilation as windows could only be partial opened.
Review 110:Location was ok. Well connected with Metro line. Good cleanliness.
Review 111:The check in was dreadful, queuing system was not working, four staff checking people in, but after 30 inutes when I got to the counter the girl behind the desk just got up without a word and left on a break leaving me to start all over again. The breakfast was pretty bad as well, the coffee awful and the bar is behind reception so you have to join the queue
Review 112:Value for money and parking
Review 113:They receptionist staff is incredibly slow, and could use some more efficient people. Also, they need a separate bar so it would keep the lines down. The receptionist is also a bartender.
Review 114:Sometimes the Wifi failed, but in short periods of time
Review 115:The concept of the Hotel was completely different but GREAT! we love it! people in the reception were very kind with us and helped us with our early check in! We are very grateful to you! The price was OK and the location couldn't be better!
Review 116:Check in was possible only after 15.00pm, so I would have been wait for 6 hours if I didn't ask girl on reception about another room. But they didn't tell me about another possible rooms by themselves. Excenge currency rates are very expensive.
Review 117:Good location, near to metro station and supermarket "Field".
Review 118:the room is too small, the bed wasn't tidy, and the room is too hot because the window cannot be open. the wifi connection was terrible in the room
Review 119:cheap, and the location is fine
Review 120:Insects in the room. In the evening doesn't look safe to come in the hotel by foot from metro station.
Review 121:Hotel have a friendly staff. It's near to the airport.
Review 122:Room was too small, there is no room for air, it is like a congested 3rd class sleeper coach of a train, room was harldy 100M2 space within that 3 persons has to stay :( No space in toilet as well
Review 123:Location was good
Review 124:The staff is pretty annoyed and disappointed. They didn't inform me about the parking restriction and I get a contravection for the usage of the parking. The room was claustrophobic and it was too warm. Definitely I won't use anymore this structure.
Review 125:- Position is good! Really close to metro station of Orestad.
Review 126:1. There are no restaurants within easy walking distance for a late evening meal. 2. Breakfast is pretty basic - no eggs!
Review 127:Convenient for CPH airport if to have an early flight or arrive late. Bilka at Fields is open late7 days a week for last-minute shopping.
Review 128:The hotel is 2 stops in the train and then a 10 minute walk. With heavy bags etc. There is a great park a 10 minute walk from the hotel - towards the town.
Review 129:Excellent staff. Very helpful & friendly.
Review 130:The bathroom is really small!
Review 131:Right place near the metro station Good value for your money Modern and confortable building, and good and international breakfasts
Review 132:Was in the queue to pay for the room. The male staff chose not to or refused to see me in the queue. Instead he only attended to those behind me. Defeats the purpose of having a queue.
Review 133:Peacefulness of the area.
Review 134:Bunk bed was too high, did not sleep up there, felt unsafe. Shower curtain, no point, just remove loo roll and shower in full area. Looked ok on intrenet, in reality room felt like a corridoor, square design gives feeling of space. Am little noisy when window opened.
Review 135:Clean, well lit compact room. Looked ok on intrenet, in reality room felt like a corridoor, square design gives feeling of space. Am little noisy when window opened.
Review 136:Arriving late in the evening at Copenhagen Airport during rain was a poor experience for us as we could not manage to use the machine for tickets for train. Spoke to hotel reception for help, even though we had requested for airport pick up did not get help. We managed a taxi after much struggle as strangers. The driver was excellent.
Review 137:Ideal location for those in transit The Breakfast buffet was sumptuous Good view Though cramped in space in the room, all requirements were available for a night's stay
Review 138:Huge queue to check in - waited 20 min and the queue was longer behind us by the time we finished. Considering there is no other customer service they should institute some kind of automatic checkin the way Urban House does in central Copenhagen. The rooms are tiny, the beds are tiny and not very comfortable, there are no facilities to speak of. The queues for the elevators are long since there are many floors with many rooms and a *lot* of people waiting.
Review 139:Close to the airport (two stops on the train), cheaper than most hotels in Copenhagen. Desk people are friendly and efficient, but that is all the staff you will see. Be sure you get on the DSB train, not the metro if you walk over to the Ørestad station - the metro does not go to the airport, but the train does. There's a great Indian restaurant a few blocks away - Restaurant Rasoi.
Review 140:Tiny room, hard beds terrible pillows. The whole bathroom got wet when you had a shower. Noisy place. People standing downstairs smoking, it wafted into our room on the fifth floor as did their late night conversations.
Review 141:Easy access to city and airport
Review 142:Bed very small. I fell out. Glad I wasn't in a top bunk! shower curtain in room was damaged,(room 1424 I think)
Review 143:Good value for money. Near Kastrup. Easy to get to city centre.
