Review 1：The space was great... the only issue was the stove. It did not work. Not a huge thing for us since we were staying only one night. The location was perfect. Very comfy.

Shower ancient and broken fittings.All apartments accessed by one flight of v. steep, stone stairs-followed by several more flights.Cant park nearby and therefore have to carry luggage some distance before negotiating the acess to the aprtments.Photos on website give false impression of standard of accommodation.

Review 6：It was a little difficult to find and we had to stop to ask directions. Maybe best to get a map of Besalu showing the location of the apartment.
Review 7：We just loved this charming, cozy, comfortable apartment. It had lots of space for me and my kids and provided everything we needed. It's not fancy but it sure felt homey. It kinda felt like we were staying in a local's own place. And Violeta did a great job getting us set up and settled. I made sure I contacted her a day or two before we arrived (via the website) to arrange a time and swap cell phone numbers. It made arrival easy.
Review 8：We tried to contact the owners the day before as suggested and received no reply so we emailed. When we arrived at our notified time they would not answer the phone, which we rang many times. After an hour we gave up and rang booking.com. Booking.com staff were very helpful and also tried but were ignored too. We were stranded in a town with no taxis in the rain. We were offered another room in town, but as we were 2 friends and did not want to share a room we had to make our own way back to Barcelona and stay with friends. The apartments consist of just a green metal door with no reception and just a phone number painted on it. I can't express my dismay and anger enough. The rudeness of the owners, who have still not bothered to contact us to explain or offer an apology.
Review 9：The town is amazing, a medieval survival in a beautiful situation near the French border. Haribo factory is 10 min drive!!!
Review 10：It was too expensive for the time being when comparing to the hotels in the area that charge just a bit more but offer the complete breakfast and of course the usual and basic stuff such as hand soap!

Review 16：The apartment itself was most unsatisfactory with a most dangerous staircase to the first floor and what can only be described as a slab of concrete for a bed. The Laundry room was a washing machine on a landing. We had to pay cash up front but we only stayed one night.
