Review 1：We enjoyed our stay at Gästehaus Rosa Leitgeb. Our room was a very large and modern double bedroom. It also had a private patio area outside. The owner was very helpful and more than happy to give us recommendations on things to do in the area. She served a good breakfast with a wide choice of things to eat. Faistenau is a very convenient place to stay for visiting places like Fuschlsee, Wolfgangsee and Salzburg by car. There is also a Spar supermarket a few minutes drive away from Gästehaus Rosa Leitgeb. We would happily stay here again if we were to visit the area in the future.

Review 2：A typical and very beautiful Gästehaus located in a wonderful place near Salzburg, with a wide possibility of touring around little pretty villages , lakes and hill landscapes.

Review 4：The guesthouse was lovely and clean. Rosa was always more than happy to help by providing information on public transport and things to do locally. 4 nights was not enough. The breakfast selection was delicious.

Review 6：The host was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived late due to traffic and she was very understanding and helpful. The rooms were very clean with modern furnishings and plenty of room. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. The hotel was in a great location, only 20 mins to Salzburg and you can easily explore the surrounding lake towns or go to the local ski slope too.

Review 8：Rosewitha is great, warm friendly always smiling and helping with everything. Quiet rooms, even when pension full (five rooms). View on the mountains and meadows surrounding. Tasty and plentifully rich breakfast, four star hotel standards really. Pension situated withing walking reach of Hintersee lake and lots of trekking sites. 15 minutes drive to Salzburg.

Review 10：The room was recently renovated. Very clean and spacious. Peaceful situation at the side of the village. The breakfast was plenty with cold cuts, cheese, yogurth, juice etc. The guesthouse housekeeper was very polite and friendly.

Review 12：Rosa was so accommodating and kind. She helped us with planning our activities in the area with maps and helpful suggestions. Her home was clean, neat, and tidy. The breakfasts were excellent too!! A great value for the money. We were very pleased.

Review 13：The guest house is located on a main road, sometimes can be a bit noisy. We couldn't access the balcony as works were carried out, the television didn't work, there's a poor wi fi signal and the very small communal garden didn't have any area to seat down to relax. No card payments are accepted ( only cash) no receipt is given upon payment but we were still unfairly charged city tax....

Review 14：Nice and spacious room newly built, very good breakfast, quite location close to Salzburg and the lakes area. There's a communal room with books and some games, a kitchen for guest use which can be very handy. Price is good for what you get. The owner of the business, Rosa, is very helpful in giving advices on the best places to visit.

Review 34：Wed had a fantastic 5 nights at this Guesthouse. Rosa was amazing, friendly and had great, useful local knowledge of restaurants and activities. The location is excellent to discover the Austrian Lake District by car or bike. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and filling. The room was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here if visiting the area. We will surely be back!

Review 36：Great host with passion to provide the best service to guests. Adjacent to Salzburg and Austria's lake district, the house is located in a lovely countryside with beautiful mountain view. Spacious rooms and great facitilies including a full-equipped kitchen. There is a SPAR supermarket nearby which is very convenient.

Review 44：Roswitha with her hospitality makes you feel as if you are staying with a friend in her house rather than a hotel/guest house. She was kind enough to pack a picnic breakfast for us as we were leaving very early in the morning. The location is in the midst of meadows, which is very scenic and serene and yet close enough to restaurants in the neighborhood which are within a easy walking distance. Salzburg center is an easy 20 min drive away.
