Review 1：The only thing I found as an inconvenience, was that they only accept cash in this day in time of financial/banking cards.

Review 3：I would prefer to be closer to old Juan Dolio, 1 mile away, but only 20 pesos by bus and 100 by motorcycle.

Review 4：I like that the apartment had a safe the restaurant had good food, really liked their pizza.

Review 5：The local workers were staying in the hotel, very loud, shouting raised voices also, the owners of the hotel were running a business out of the rear of the hotel; every morning loud bangs, shouting and engines starting. Overall not good the photos and description suggested I had a view over the Caribbean but, I was overlooking waste land when I turned my head right I could see the sea, the ac wasn't very cold with a piece missing from the ac unit meaning I couldn't divert the air flow; I found the missing piece last day it was in the cupboard covered in dust. The staff didn't fix the ac after I brought their attention to it and finally the wifi was useless in the room it was ok for checking emails and my bank account but, if you want music it was useless.

Review 7：I even booked a Junior suite, and wasn't given one, upon arrival. I think I did book a JR suite. I didn't like how when i arrived my Room wasn't even ready. They had me wait while they had someone clean the room. After I booked my hotel a month or so, ahead of time. A bit upsetting... No room service until I mentioned, that I booked thru Booking.com. Then I was treated like a Royal Princess during my entire stay.

Review 8：I liked how it's near the beach and how the front desk receptionist speak English as well. Kitchen to cook was a Plus. A/C is very important... Which was blowing awesome... Thank God!! Lol... Everything is pretty near by as well. Armed police officer on site.

Review 9：The bathroom toilets need updating. You sit on them they rock. The televisions need updated the showers need updated. Cable in the rooms can use some american channels.

Review 10：Close to the beach. Great location. The staff is wonderful. The lay out of most of the apartments with the kitchen have great views of the beach and pool. The onsite security at night.

Review 14：People at front desk very friendly and they always want you to be happy. I got to the hotel a 7:00 AM and still they got me registered in the best room they had available, even I know I was suposted to be register at 2:00 PM

Review 15：We were in a 2 bedroom apartment on the sixth floor. Although the apartment was nice enough and the view was beautiful, the balcony walls are too low for families with small children. The rooftop hot tub access was prohibited and tub was drained. The wifi was extremely slow in the apartment. Strongest signal was on the lobby floor.

Review 16：The apartment was quaint and comfortable. The view was beautiful and the beach was directly across the street. The pool was never crowded. The bartender Angelina (?) was very pleasant. The cleaning staff was very pleasant especially the the one who who came on 7/21. I can't remember her name but she interacted with My 2 Yr old while cleaning and was extremely thorough. Fran and his staff were very personable and addressed any issues we had immediately. I would choose to stay here in the future.

Review 20：I really enjoyed my stay At the Residence. The rooms were clean, and very nice. Mr. FrAnk, from the administration office, was very polite and considerate. He was willing to accommodate my father, who is in wheel chair, in ground level at not extra cost. That was very nice of him. The crew working there was very friendly, and attentive. The environment is very peaceful, and relaxing. It was exactly wrhat I was looking for on my vacation time with my father in the D.R. I would stay over and over again. It was great!

Review 21：Good room that was clean enough. They upgraded us to a two bedroom on the 7th floor. It was very secure and had a great terrace with an unobstrcted view of the ocean.

Review 22：always going beyond the standard service you would find in a 5 star hotel. Great staff always friendly and helpful Had a leaking toilet on my 2nd night, the next day upgraded my room to a much better view of the ocean at no additional charge.

Review 23：Great location - very close to the sea. Apartment spacious, clean with a balcony view of the Caribbean sea. Very comfortable bed. Quiet and peaceful surroundings (this was in March). Serve great spaghetti with prawns and mushrooms and pizza frutti di mare and excellent drinks. We would highly recommend!

Review 27：Right in front of the beach. Hotel room and balcony was perfect for a small dog. its not the most beautiful hotel, but at least everything was clean and nothing was falling apart. definitely a good deal for the location.

Review 51：It's a very quiet town, great access to beaches which are wide and clean. Our 2 bedroom suite had an excellent ocean view, was spacious and clean. It's basic but that was what we were looking for. Good value for the price. The staff was really nice, they spoke very basic English but we could communicate well. The suite has a kitchen so you can cook. You need a car since the town of Juan Dolio isn't very touristy and the choice of restaurants and activities isn't great. But we planned to rent one anyway so it was great for us. So if you're looking for a simple, quiet place where you can rest and be independent Meridiana will be really good.
