Review 1：The hotel was a beautiful house made in the 1800's and renovated in the 1960's. The gardens were well kept and full of flowers. We sat on our balcony and overlooked the valley and mountains behind it. The home owner was a very nice woman who dressed in traditional Bavarian clothing. She helped us plan our site seeing and fed us breakfast each morning. We chose this BB because of the great reviews and we are now pleased to provide a great review of our own.
Review 2：Wonderful location with a super friendly and helpful owner. The guest house is in an ideal spot to explore the Berchtesgaden/Salzburg area. The guest house has a really cosy atmosphere, comfortable rooms and terrific views of the mountains including the Eagles Nest.

Review 4：Location and view are great. Service is excellent and sweet. Neighbor's cows walked by us, which was a great experience to our kid. We are vegan, and the special made vegan breakfasts for three days were the best ones during our 14-day trip in Germany. We highly recommend this place.

Review 29：Everything here is first class from the moment you are picked up at the train station. Frau Koppl was an excellent hostess. She was attentive, informative and a tireless worker. Every day at breakfast you are given a printed daily local activities report and the weather. While you are eating she is actually scrubbing the floors on her hands and knees in your room. The room was spotless. The views are spectacular. If you are in good physical shape you can walk downhill to the bus. Going up hill is a challenge without a car, but I am 65 and did it daily. There is a convenience store and tourist info at the bottom of the hill. You miss the friendly people, the cows, horses, etc. when you drive. It is so peaceful to be here and enjoy nature.It is a short bus ride to Berchtesgaden and Lake Konigsee. You will be given a free pass for local transportation.This guest house is a gem. This place will give you inner peace and you will never get a better night's sleep anywhere.

Review 31：Everythings where just good. There at loads of things to see with charming small cities close by and great nature. Cablecars and skiing is possible and with fine slopes or what you call skiing pathes. You can take the train or bus from Salzburg. Much better than Salzburg. But I am not into bigger cities. And the Geusthouse is perfect.

Splendid location in the mountains, great views, Bavarian style all around, personal attention form the owner. It is not a hotel, not a pension, it is a guest house in the best meaning of the word. Please note that the great location means that the driveway is quite steep, rather not suitable for inexperienced drivers.

Review 42：Beautiful, quiet, countryside location with nice variety of things to do in the area (hiking, boating, biking, exploring old towns/villages, thermal baths). Guest room was very comfortable, nicely decorated, and included a sitting area as well as a balcony. Excellent breakfast each morning, including fresh buns/bread, meat, cheese, jams, baked item or yogurt, juice, coffee and tea. Everything was spotlessly clean. Hostess was very kind and helpful, providing a number of suggestions for things to do in the area. We look forward to returning some day and will definitely plan to stay at this guest house again.

Review 46：The only issue we had was not with the guesthouse, but finding it based on direction from google maps. If coming from the north they direct you from the main road up hohlgraben, which is just a small gravel road that looks like it goes onto private property. It causes a bit of confusion! You can continue up that way, but it's easier to take steingasse, which is the next road down. It's a regular paved road with better signage!
Review 47：Our stay there was great. It's in a beautiful spot up on the hill with fantastic views. The room was really clean and comfortable, balcony was lovely for relaxation and a beer. She has drinks stocked in the fridge for you at a good price. A little bit up out of the way, need a car to get up there, but we enjoyed the location as its still close to everything. Overall a wonderful stay.
Review 48：I want to assess this guesthouse in terms of "location", "breakfast" , "internet speed", "cleaning", "house itself", "staff" Location: Gastehaus Sagfeiler is upside of a small declivity in front of forest which has a large garden. This enables a visitor to enjoy panoramic view of Bischofswissen-Alpine mountains and to feel surrounded by nature. After a walk to "Andreas-Fendt Ring" or "Watzmannstube" in hauptstrasse von Bischofswissen one can reach to bus station. There I got on bus 839, 841 and go to Berchtesgaden and Königsee without paying for busticket. Actual bus schedule can be seen on website of Regionalverkehr Oberbayern. Breakfast: Frau Köppl (owner of guesthouse, who shows how an excellent housewife should be) provided two types of jam (or honey), cheese, meat product, butter, orange juice, two types of bread, a hot drink (milk,coffee or tea) of high quality. She changed types of jam, cheese and meat product everyday. Moreover everyday she brought something different to breakfast. For example one day egg and one another day fruit in joghurt etc. Internet speed: Internet speed was better than many fivestar hotels and no payment was required. Cleaning: Room and shower was cleaned and tidied everyday with caution. House itself: It was very sympatic house, of whose every detail was meticulously designed. Staff: A traditional German family operates this guesthouse for decades. This family constitutes of five members but Frau Köppl does all work herself. She is very friendly, polite and helpful.
