Review 1：Can't think of any negative. Some people thought the location was hard to find, but with GPS we found it reasonably quickly.
Review 2：The suite was very luxurious. It was large, had separate living room and coffee station areas, and had both a great full-featured shower and separate bath. Room was quiet, great balcony view, and great breakfast. Hostess was engaging and helpful.

Review 5：Alpenvilla is utterly charming. It has been beautifully and tastefully decorated to provide the highest level of comfort. Our room was extremely spacious with fabulous views of the valley and mountains. We were delighted to have tea making facilities and greatly enjoyed sitting on our balcony enjoying the views and, on one evening, a nearby thunderstorm. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.

Review 39：Best arrive at the property when it's bright outside. It's hard to find in the dark and GPS guidance or map print-out of directions is essential.

Owner Beate was very nice and picked us up from the main road when we lost in the dark late night before arriving at the villa. Only 7 rooms at the property and they are tastefully done. Cannot wait to go back again soon.

Review 42：The hotel is on a small hill, quiet enviroment. Very good view to the snow mountain around Koenigsee. Distance is just right. Big rooms, clean and comfortable. Bath room was nicely set up. Water boiler, coffee, tea and even a bottle of wine.
Review 43：This was our 3rd trip to Berchtesgaden but our 1st stay at alpenvilla and it was just fabulous! The owners greeted us when we pulled up and helped us with our luggage. When they showed us into our room,no kidding I thought we were walking into another part of the lobby bc our room was that big! It was very spacious with a large king bed and separate sitting area with a sofa, minibar and tv. The wrap around balcony overlooking the beautiful mountains was our favorite part. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of meats, cheeses, fresh fruit and juices. The owners were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We had our 2 month old son with us and they had a PAC n play set up in our room without us even asking. The walk into town is downhill about 12-15 mins and a bit longer coming back up, but good exercise. We have been in Germany for 3 years and travelled all over Europe and I can honestly say this is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Definitely worth the splurge!
