Reviews for Fogar do Mariñeiro

Review 1:Particularly unfriendly and surly receptionist during the afternoon and evenings. Poor choice and freshness of breakfast. Simple tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have avoided the breakfast experience.

Review 2:The people at the front desk where brusque and unhelpful. The wifi only works in the lobby. The furniture is so cheap that I got a nasty scratch from a desk. Two of the AC units were broken (2 top floors) and the front desk neglected to tell us.

Review 3:The location is amazing, right on the harbor where you can watch the boats and see all around the bay.

Review 4:breakfast was kind of poor, and our room was smelling bad, everything from curtains to the pillows smelled like mold, I dont know why bc everything looked pretty new.

Review 5:big room and bathroom, good value for money

Review 6:The water in both the jacuzzi and the swimming pool was too cold.

Review 7:Very clean, good value for money and good service.

Review 8:short bed, weak walls (noisy from the other rooms)

Review 9:close to the airport, personal helpfullness

Review 10:Sea view and terrace overlooking the marina. Good coastal walks and the jacuzzi and swimming pool.

Review 11:Heating has sometimes some troubles and it is a cold village in winter. Anyways, they provide blankets and good service. Stairs are not a problem unless disabled people (example wheel chairs) Breakfast is ok, you are not paying a 5 stars buffet.

Review 12:All

Review 13:Bedreoom and bathroom were spacious and well decorated, From bedroomwindow there was a lovely view out onto the estuary and the marina.Appreciated the terrace café which also looked out onto the marina.Various restaurants in the vicinity. Not far from the bus stationalthough we organised a taxi back to the bus station (€6) as it isuphill and difficult to walk there with a heavy suitcase. We used the small swimming pool and jacuzzi on arrival which we very much appreciated as we had travelled 5 hours on the bus from Santander. Considering breakfast was included, it was very reasonably priced.

Review 14:Maybe the breakfast could be improved, but it's a really MINOR point.

Review 15:Everything you want from an hotel like this, you get it: nice staff, spacious room overlooking the port a nice outdoor place to have breakfast or a drink in the evening. A very good place to stay entering Galicia.

Review 16:Hotel receptionist wasn't welcoming (nor was she unwelcoming) --- shesimply didn't seem to enjoy meeting new customers. The receptionist thefollowing morning was friendly and helpful in the breakfast area.

Review 17:Great location, overlooking the marina. Very clean roon and comfortablebed. Breakfast was fine.

Review 18:To enter via the main entrance/reception area, you have to climb a setof stairs (aprox. 20 steps). I am sure we could have asked the receptionstaff to help us with the suitcases but it maybe a problem for peoplewith reduced mobility.

Review 19:The view over the harbor is very nice and at the same time is was veryquiet. Maybe it is more noisy in summer time but it was a great springbreak location. Harbor views from the bedrooms were excellent. Veryclean and tidy. Nice breakfast & terrasse. Public parking for the carsclose by as well as nice/different budget restaurants around. Found itvery autentic and staff were friendly.

Review 24:Loved the spaciousness of the room with a view over the marina and harbour. Close to town with plenty of free parking opposite.

Review 25:No hair dryer in the room (one available at the reception).

Review 26:Very good location on the port. Nice terrasse for the breakfast. Large and clean room.
