Review 1：The location is perfect from which to explore the ancient city, and so beautiful by the River. The owners are absolutely delightful, the rooms are beautifully appointed in every way and the meals are of exceptional quality. It is the most lovely hotel imaginable.
Review 2：I couldn't get the wifi to work. I was assured it was working but I don't think the problem was me and my gadgets.
Review 3：The location. Set on the river opposite Water Tower and a stroll up a path to town centre. The restaurant was very traditional German, big tables and good food.

Review 7：We absolutely loved our stay at the Alte Gerberei. The location, directly on the Spree with a view of the medieval walls and towers of Bautzen, was out of a fairytale. The innkeepers were so, so nice, and if we needed anything, they were quick to oblige. We had a lovely dinner in their restaurant on our second evening. The inn is decorated with wonderful rugs and crafts, and is spotlessly clean. It was hard to leave after our two brief days.

Review 13：We loved the way the Hotel was presented especially the dining areas, with traditional ornaments and information about the history of the Hotel. The location was convenient and the river flowing by out front was refreshing. The owners were extremely hospitable friendly and welcoming. We also enjoyed the meals as they were fresh tasty and healthy.
