Review 1：The room was not heated up before we came, not looking that we provided the time of arrival, so it took time to warm it and it was pretty cold to sleep. And the blankets were really small. The rooms are also very compact.

Review 2：The location is really perfect. Right 5 minutes near the Castle and Swan Lake. The light (which many tourists were mentioning in the coridor) is working perfectly, you just need to press the button that are located every meter passing by the coridor. The food is very nice, and it's comfortable to have a restaurant to have dinner. The included breakfast is pretty standard for that kind of guest houses. The stuff is really nice and helping. We enjoyed our short stay in the hotel. Would like to admit clean new bathroom .

Review 3：Only downside was the 2 flights of stairs to walk up with luggage. However it was well worth it for the view.

Review 6：Very clean rooms! We had two adjoining rooms with a balcony that we could open up to share with our family, and had the most INCREDIBLE view of the castles! The breakfast provided was also delicious, and the owner was very attentive to us and very friendly!

Review 10：On a busy road. That is a bit loud. Hotel is a bit tired. Bathroom has been recently updated, however. Unlike other hotels in our travels where there's been a bottle of hair/body soap in the shower, they give you a packet of body/hair soap per person. People with long/thick hair need more soap than that just for the hair. ;).

Review 11：View of castles from room and plenty of parking spaces. We preferred the slower pace of the town of Schwangau than that of Fussen.

Review 12：My one disappointment was the size of the bathroom. I booked this hotel based on the pictures shown for the double rooms and pictures shown for the bathroom (standard double room). However, the bathroom in the room we had was extremely small (and not at all as shown in the pictures). Really too small for 2 adults and abit awkward to get into it. The bedroom itself was nice and very clean, but as mentioned, I was disappointed in how tiny the bathroom was (it was the smallest bathroom of all hotels on our trip).

Review 26：Good size rooms and showers. Walking distance to town and castles. A bit of a walk, by reasonable. Swimming in nearby lake was a very pleasant and quite alternative to tourist crowds. Plenty of parking. Nice castle view from dinning room.

Review 36：We liked everything about it. We had a room with a balcony which had the most beautiful view of the castle. Neuchwanstein castle was only 10 minutes or less by car. People running it were so very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very generous and delicious in a bright room with orchids. We were travelling with family and our two year old grandson loved the playground, especially the trampoline and the sandpit with a digger in it. Very clean and well set out. Highly recommend.

Review 42：We stayed at that hotel 3nights on May. The location is grate- very close to the castles ( 15 minutes by walk) We had three double rooms booked close to each other on the second floor. Two of them have castles view. Rooms are very clean and tidy. We also were sasisfied from the breakfast. The small city centre with the most popular restaurant with a pub and brewery 20 minuts by walk. Very nice area for trekking and biking. The owner of Waldmann very kind and helpfull. We definitely come back once again.

The room was big bed comfortable and we had a balcony which faced the castle. The hotel breakfast room was characteristic of Bavaria. There was a very good selection of breakfast food and the family who runs the hotel is very lovely and friendly. Free parking. Great wifi.

Review 57：Our trip was geared around visiting Neuschwanstein Castle. From our balcony, we could view the beautiful castle. Plus, the town of Hohenschwangau, which holds the ticketing office for both castles, was literally right down the road. We drove, but it is a short distance if you wish to walk. The staff was very friendly. We have already recommended Hotel Waldmann to friends who are planning on visiting the area.

The family that owns the hotel is super friendly and speaks great English. Dinner was great and the location was great. Just outside of town but only 7 minutes to the castles.

Review 73：Wifi did not work, as our room was too far from the router but it was free, so that's a plus if you're closer to the router. Beds were not too comfortable but that was our experience in many hotels in Germany so that may just be the kind of mattresses they have over there...

Review 78：The hotel is about a 20 to 25 minute walk from the castle area of Schwangau. The hotel issues a voucher which gives you a small discount on entry to the castles. The owners could not have been more friendly or helpful offering us a garage for our motorbike and lending us umbrellas for the very wet walk up to the castles. The food in the evening was good value and the breakfast was excellent.

Their location is a short 25 minute walk to the castles, or 25 minutes to Füssen. We thought it was perfectly placed. If you stay right next to the castles, there are people and cars everywhere (and it's expensive)! They even have a small playground outside for the kids!

She basically accused our group of lying and trying to cheat her because my friend was a single mother and she thought we were hiding her husband and not paying for him in the double room we had booked for her and her young daughter.When we showed her she was wrong, she didn't even apologise, even though she had totally embarrased us by confronting us at breakfast with the room full of other hotel guests!!This lady is in the wrong industry!

Review 85：Friendly and helpful staff We stayed in a triple room, well renovated and spacious. Arrived late and had a supper in hotel restaurant. We were given a table with view of the castle. Same the next day breakfast. Fantastic.

Review 86：The location is great, just a short walk from the bus-stop. This bus will also take you up to the Neuschwanstein & Hohenschwangau Castles. It's also only a short busride to/from Füssen which can also be reached nicely on foot. We loved our room/suite, it had a balcony with the perfect view of both castles in addition to being excellent for a Family of 4 with the separate bedroom. You can borrow umbrellas if you're caught in the rain before setting out in the morning. Breakfast (included) was great. We also had a nice Dinner a couple of times, the Pfifferling Dish is very good. Wir bedanken uns recht herzlich bei Familie Waldmann für unseren angenehmen Aufenthalt. Tschüßi!
