Reviews for Heppenheimer Hof

Review 1:You do need a car although the bus goes into Worms. No restaurant at the hotel or nearby.

Review 2:The room was very spacious. The staff was very helpful especially when I had a medical emergency. There is a Netto (grocery store) right across the street. The breakfast was plentiful. They do have an elevator.

Review 3:nothing

Review 4:The room was very art deco and we loved the big room ... big bathroom ... free parking. a visit to worms cathederal was a high light . dont be put of headphone daniel he is a star and honest the continetal breakfast fed us well... be advised no fast food ide places near ...but asupermarket over the road lol OH cathederal worth a hour or 2

Review 5:Everytime during the booking you have an option to choose the bed type(twin or double), and obviously as being a couple we chose double.Third time we got a room with two separate beds:/ Receptionist couldn't change it as the place was fully booked. We booked our room 4 days prior to arrival, and he said the last room was sold two minutes before I went down to reception to get the room swapped..makes no sense to me then why you can choose the bed type if you get random bed type anyway.:( We solved it with putting the matresses on the carpet, so at the end we had the double bed with some creativity :)

Review 6:We stayed here for the third time. Overall experience is good, as rooms are clean and facilities are all ok for an overnight stay after a day spent with driving. Staff is extremely friendly and flexible. We twice arrived very late, around midnight, and the guy woke up to let us checking is and still with a smile on his face.:)

Review 7:There was a bad broken chair, when my dad (86) sat on it, he really fell hard backwards. Staff at reception reacted not adequate and helpful, while it was a dangerous situation. Also restaurant for diner was closed. Now we had to go to Worms at night. Mould in bathroom. Next room had a baby we could hear crying very well, so rooms were noisy.

Review 8:The size of the rooms, clean, fridges. Supermarket in front.

Review 9:Restaurant was closed and no others or bars in village so we had to drive for evening meal.

Review 10:Good sized room. Supermarket opposite. Short drive into Worms.

Review 11:No air con so didn't sleep in a very hot room adult bed was a sofa bed that didn't fit us. Breakfast was ok but pretty poor. Nowhere nearby to walk to for a cold beer!

Review 12:Good location. Not expensive. Near a supermarket. Nice evening visit to the town of Worms.

Review 13:Nothing! Excellent Hotel!

Review 14:I booked in very late to arrive in half an hour, Poor Daniel i woke him up to get in. I was greeted with a smile and he spoke excellent English Could not fault him or the hotel at all. Made to feel welcome and at home. Room was spotless and clean with cooker, fridge, tv, comfy bed, fresh cold bottled water. Also room 33 has a nice roof window that looks out over the village really nice to look out over at 6am watching the farm tractors going about! Bathroom was amazing and clean overall an excellent hotel that i would love to stay at again!!! Thank you very much Daniel for making me feel welcome and the amazing value even at time of night!!! Hope that air con unit is still working well!!!

Review 15:Location not suitable without a car to visit town centre - sofa bed very hard and uncomfortable - could hear quite loudly occupants of room next door - breakfast was poor with limited offerings and not good value for money- would look elsewhere next time

Review 16:Spacious room and excellent bathroom- receptionist (male) extremely helpful

Review 17:Around dinner time during my night in Worms there was a serious thunder and lightening storm with heavy rain and winds. Bad luck, the ceiling window in my room was open and I was 7 kilometers away in the city. My room was swamped and I informed reception. They didn't seem too concerned and asked if the bed was wet. I believe if I had said no, they would have asked me what the problem was. When I said yes, I was given the keys to a new room. It was only until I got into bed that I realized the room was infested with tiny mosquitos. Their earlier nonchalance at reception about the flood didn't inspire me to try and enlist their aid so late at night. So, the bathroom being big enough, I pulled a mattress in, killed the flies, and slept with the toilet at my feet. My bicycle? I was only able to lock it 'out if sight', not put it behind closed doors. Awful.

Review 18:Mosquitos Location won't suit everyone as a bit in the sticks

Review 28:cheap clean

Review 29:No restaurant nearby (i.e. on foot. )

Review 31:Accommodation was very roomy. Staff was very helpful.

Review 32:far from city

Review 33:nearby market...

Review 34:We stayed in out way to go skiing. Perfect place, very quiet.

Review 35:Comfortable, spacious and accommodating

Review 36:sofa bed old fashioned atmosphere

Review 37:location large room clean very good price friendly staff

Review 38:Very clean, close to a supermarket, really spacious room.

Review 39:Breakfast was a bit poor

Review 40:Very large and comfortable bedroom and bathroom, very clean and quite

Review 41:Not very close to restaurants.

Review 42:Safe, quiet location. Spacious room with an elevator. Parking was easily available.

Review 43:No evening restaurant though supermarket directly opposite the hotel

Review 44:Quiet location Staff friendly and helpful

Review 45:The Sofa bed was a bit small for 2 adults and the pillows were very soft.

Review 46:Breakfast was very good.

Review 47:Although there was a sink and hot plates in the room it would have been helpful to have had some crockery and cutlery and a cloth to wipe the bench etc.

Review 48:The Heppenheimer Hof is a delightful surprise. About 6 minutes drive from Worms rather than inside it, Heppenheimer Hof has a distinctly rural feeling. It is above an energetic gym full of enthusiastic clients, and next door to a useful Netto supermarket. Their lift is a great bonus, and our room was very, very large. The extra space is a boon for long-term travellers, but perhaps the best feature was the full-length bath. The room also has a sink, TV, and a capacious wardrobe. Parking is directly outside and the wifi was a good fast connection. I don't think I have ever seen so many power points in a single room. So even though it was a drive into Worms for meals and sight-seeing, we felt it was worth the very reasonable price and we particularly valued the extremely quiet position - it certainly gave us two good nights' sleep.

Review 49:Slanted roof in upper room gives a man trouble using the toilet standing up, unless he is a contortionist. Opened up couch is not comfortable for two people to sleep on.

Review 50:Pretty scenery. Spacy rooms, excellent shower. Breakfast was good for the price. Staff friendly and helpful with recommendation for dinner opportunities nearby.

Review 51:Far away from everything. Great room, but the hotel from outside is just an apartment building.

Review 52:A very Large room, designed with the business traveler in mind. Electrical sockets, light and ... everywhere. Lots of storage space, and comfortable beds.

Review 53:HUGE bedroom, HUGE bathroom and everything was perfectly clean and fully equipped. There is a good supermarket right in front of the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay there. Breakfast was like 6euros/person and I really enjoyed it. Very german!

Review 54:It was SO bloody hot hot hot i. Room. We had to leave the door to the hallway open to try and circulate some air. If windows were left open the mosquitos came in the room so I propped them open and covered with sheer curtains but sky light had to be left closed ... Too many bugs. When I asked for a fan they said no. DON'T STAY HERE IN THE SUMMER TIME. Noisy all nite, near the highway ... Didn't sleep good. I would not stay here again if it is hot outside. Our room was above patio where guests smoke. Yuk.

Review 55:Big big room, comfy bed, 2 small refrigerators (they didn't get real cold). Nice shower. Good value. Great restaurant nearby that you have to drive to called "Stolper Eck". Grocery store across the street but no cooking in room.

Review 56:The rooms are indeed very spacious, there is a nice rainshower. For us this was a great place to spend the night as a break from our road trip. Breakfast (to be ordered separately, 6 euro boiled egg, 7 euro scrambled egg) was very good. There are no dining facilities, restaurant is only used as breakfast room.

Review 57:Restaurant now closed down so no breakfast option yet price remained the same as lat year. Not happy about this. Sofa bed in main room would only be used by adults as kids go to bed earlier so they have to have the separate room's beds. However, sofa bed is strange design and only suitable for people < 5ft tall. They REALLY need to invest in decent full size sofa bed which will improve scores for anyone staying in this room. We had to rebook here as all other hotels in area were booked but we will book elsewhere next year if they still have this terrible bed, and no restaurant.

Review 58:Large family room with fridge and 2 ring hob. Good shower Opposite supermarket

Review 59:Hotel car park full until a Zumba club had finished. I had to park on the road (kerbside) but not too much of a problem the location is quiet. Pillow too soft, woke up with stiff neck.

Review 60:Easy access for Autobhann. Nice and quiet. Lift. Supermarket opposite.

Review 61:Took a while from motorway to find as directions sent me through anothervillage to start. Website could do with better route to hotel.

Review 62:Close to visit the town of Worms, only a 10minute drive. Room was huge, facilities were good and I had a super nights sleep here. Nettosupermarket across the road was very convenient for an evening snack.

Review 63:There are no restaurants in the village so you must go to another village or Worms to eat.

Review 64:The room was very spacious and new, so in excellent condition. The hotel was handy to the Highway but in a quiet village, so was really good as a stopover for us.

Review 65:Our unit had a sink and a a two burner hotplate but there were no dishes, pans, or utensils so its usefulness was limited It was advertised as a two bedroom unit but it really was one bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed. We felt the sofa bed was not really big enough for two people.

Review 66:Very clean, pleasant space. Grocery store across the street was helpful.

Review 67:nice friendly hotel for a stay while we were travelling up from Italy. would recommend this hotel

Review 68:clean and spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet.
