Review 1：Our room had water leaking from the ceiling when it rained. Facility manager needs to address this as soon as possible.

Review 3：The food. Not good at all. It was rare to find enjoyable items and the drinks were INCREDIBLY watered down. I mean everything was diluted, especially the juice and soda. I feel like they would've diluted the water if they could've. I promise you that the juice in the DR is far better than what this resort offered. It's a far cry from the real thing that is sold everywhere in the country except for the resort(s). Also, I had an incredibly frustrating experience with the salesmen trying to lure people into time share presentations. They receive commission for recruiting guests to listen to them. We were told that if we listened for a short time we would be given a tour of Ocean World for free while also helping the gentleman receive some commission. (Very unprofessional by the way) But we thought we'd help him out since we'd get a free tour. A couple hours later we left frustrated and empty handed. Two idiotic and nonsensical presentations later we simply left, upset with them and ourselves for having wasted our time. Yup, he got us, tricked us. All the while they received commission for our time. I will never be going to this resort again. I'm from here, the DR, and I've been to multiple resorts. This was the worst. A couple weeks earlier we stayed in Ibero Star which is this resorts' neighbor. Literally just over the wall. It was far better. unfortunately, salesmen from this resort also go over to lure people into their timeshare presentation.

Review 4：I thought the pool was pretty neat. It was at the center of the resort and rather large. I also liked that it wasn't difficult to find places to relax near the pool. But that's probably because the resort had low occupancy. At least it seemed that way with the number of guests I saw during my stay. Lastly, it was the cheapest we could find since we searched 2 days prior to our stay.

Review 5：There was lot of humidity in the room and because of the that bad smell. We had to have aircondition on all the time. The sea is not so clean.

Review 6：The food was awesome, big variety for every meal. The pool is great. You have lots of entertement by the pool.

Review 7：Rooms (had to change) were very humid and moldy because it was sitting right on the beach. I had to leave AC on the hold time to keep the room somewhat dry. In both rooms the AC couldnt be regulated so it was never more the 65F in the rooms. Also, one must pay extra for Wifi (per device) and safety box. That shouldnt be necessary nowadays.

Review 10：The cleaning crew was awesome, as well as the dancing show. Eventhough we found out, that there is not a full compliment of dancers, the show was powerful and good.

Review 11：Most (not all) of the staff was not very helpful or friendly, some were inattentive. Manager from the Orale restaurant was rude and made unnecessary comment. Drinks overall were not great. Food was not good at all and there was very little variety on daily basis.

Review 25：we did not like the buffet,the ocean, the beach, mold and mildew, the damp room, the new ski toes in your room,the trash littered throughout the pool and courtyard area and especially spending most of your time with the bad case of the diarrhea and stomach illnesses.

Review 26：We went with a group of about 50 people and spent 9 days there. During our stay everyone took turns getting very ill, either from the food, or swimming in the pool, or swimming in the ocean, or some other mystery thing that we encountered at the resort. The buffet was a repetition of the same thing recycle through every evening and was very sketchy. Your best bet of safe food was to make reservations with the restaurant in the resort. The ocean was murky and had lots of trash and gross things on the beach and in the water. It did not make for any sort of pleasurable swimming or snorkeling. However the maids were super kind and very attentive to keeping your room clean with all things considered. The rooms were damp and had lots of mold and mildew throughout the room. The beds and bedding were clean and not too bad. It is important to make sure that you have a room with good air conditioning because it keeps the mosquitoes a way.the upper floor seem to be nicer and have left mosquito.The most enjoyable part of our day was the things we did away from the hotel except for we did enjoy the fresh drink bar and all of the fresh pina coladas and fruit drinks. One of the fun things to do is to go to the 27 falls and do the water slides and high adventure jumps. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you like to be sick and spend most of your time on the toilet. I did however noticed that the hotel next to this one look like it had a nicer Resort and the beach looked better but they all still share the same ocean water which was absolutely disgusting.

Review 32：The bathtub in our room leaked when we tried to use it and flooked the bathroom however, they came very quickly after we called the front desk and fixed it right away. The air conditioner vent dripped in the front entryway of our room, minorly but still a bit of an annoyance. And the TV got very few of the channels listed on the guide in the room - not a huge deal but when we were looking to relax in the room and zone out a bit after a day in the sun it was a little annoying. There weren't many waves at the beach and much more grass under the water than at our previous resort, which is fine if you don't mind that sort of thing (I personally don't like a bunch of stuff touching my feet under water).

Review 33：My husband and I stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and had a blast! The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very nice, with only a few minor things to complain about. The beach was nice and relaxing, very few people trying to sell you things and the ones who are were quite friendly and took "no thanks" for an answer more easily than the folks on the beach at our previous resort. Also, the people in the brown shirts and Fedoras trying to sell you on the luxury time share resort weren't as pushy or in your face as much as they were at our previous resort. Snorkeling at the beach was a lot of fun and there are some small rock reefs close to the shore that were cool to look at; much better at Sosua, worth the extra $ and half day trip! The pool was large and heated, we had no problem finding loungers each day to lay on. Food in the buffet changed daily and was quite delicious, lots of variety. We ate at 2 of the 3 other restaurants and really enjoyed those as well - the Mexican was surprisingly delicious! We would highly recommend this resort! All in all it was a great trip.

Review 36：We stayed at this place for 4 days/3 nights. I would not go back tothis place. There issues with the room, bathroom door a mess, thingsfalling off the bathroom wall. Sure it got fixed but only after I havehad enough and complaint. Service to the door was odd. They forgotsomething everyday, if it was not the towels, it was the beers or softdrinks. There is no milk in the bar fridge so you have to go to a nearby bar, unless you are in a block which has a ice room. We were in block8. Everyday at the buffett restaurant, as you exit you are hounded bythese guys trying to sell you -although they don't admit to sellinganything- to try an visit Be Live vip vacations, and every day you areharrased by any on of them. As they change from day to day every day isa new hassle. I found this distateful and I was beginning to feel like,what a bore when I exited the buffet restaurant. The areas around thepool look old and worn. The bar drinks are ok. The gardens look dry andsomewhat attended. The food is ok. You best try a dinner at theirMexican/Brazilian and Gourmet. These are the only thing saving thisplace from total disaster. Somepeople may like this place, butthat's because they may not have experience within dr about otherresorts. The buffet restaurant floor has loose planks of wood. If youare seated in an area where they are very loose your table, chair anddrinks will shake and move as people walk around. This is annoying. Tryto make a tea, yes not everyone likes tea, but we do. So..there is nokettle to make a tea in your room. The service guy suggested we use thecoffee maker...?! Are you serious?The bar fridge hardly cooled things down. The beach is nice, but as soon as you leave the water you will be harrased by someone trying to sell you something. The map shows a beach bar...There was none. There was only the snack bar. It is windy this time of year but we don't mind that.Booking via Booking.

Review 37：Receptionist work really slow. We spent more that 1 hour at the reception because they couldn't find our reservation. They asked me to buy internet for 25 dollars and send a confirmation to their e-mail. What is more, they charged double amount of money from my credit card.. Thanks God I noticed that at the hotel so they made refund. Be very careful! Also there was a bad smell in our room because the bathroom is quite humid.

Review 97：The food, rooms needed to be updated, the smell in the room, it had a mildew smell, the cleanliness of the room, the beach had a lot of seaweed, not very clean, not any activities for the children or adults. The gift shops were over priced and the food was always the same.

Review 102：I didn't like that they got our original room wrong, we asked for a king no smoking and were put in a smoking room. The process to switch took about 2 hours and we had to pay for an upgrade. The food was also mediocre, lots of variety but if you didn't get to the buffet right when it opened you could tell it had been sitting for a while.

Review 107：This was my 2nd stay here. I really like the layout, buildings and grounds. The pool and beach are fantastic. The room was very good. The entertainment is a mix of good and fair but I don't go there for that anyway. The staff/service are very good.

Review 110：I didn't like that they don't offer free wifi in the lobby area like a Lot of good all-inclusive resorts do. They charge $25 dollars a day or $60 a week for wifi that is insane. They hardly pay their poor workers $25 a week for 60hrs of work.

Be prepared to pay the rip-off fee of 60$ per week (for one single device only!), I guess a local SIM card with data volume of one of the fife DomRep GSM providers is much cheaper. I had a big argument with reception and concierge about the free WiFi in the room. They claim WiFi is operated by another company and they cannot hand out vouchers. After insisting I was given access to the Lounge (away from hotel rooms) with a WiFi password, but only after 48h and only during the day. This wasn't too useful anymore because we were already about to leave.

Review 113：Location, pool, restaurants, food, beach... All staff was very friendly except reception and concierge. Late checkout (15:00) was charged ~20$ which seems reasonable, considering the extra meal for the whole family. If you have an afternoon flight from POP take this opportunity. Parking is free, but space is unlikely enough if the hotel is fully booked. Overall impression: we would go there again.
