Review 1：The room was spotless, large, and comfortable. But the decor is country which may not be your taste. It was perfect for us. Make sure you get good directions because the tiny roads zigzag up the mountain, with no lights at night.
Review 2：The hosts Patxi and Fatima were very friendly and helpful. They are the reason people choose B&Bs vs hotels. We felt we knew a bit more about this part of Spain and the Basque people. Breakfast and the views were excellent too.

Review 4：The owners are probably the friendliest people in Spain. They were so helpful, answering sightseeing questions and even helping us learn a little Spanish. The accommodation had spectacular views, comfortable beds, extra sitting areas and a kitchen for guests. Make sure you drive/walk a little further up the mountain to the Guadalupe Sanctuary for the best views of Hondarribia and surrounding areas.
Review 5：Location is way out of the way, up above Hondarribia, but well-signposted. Definitely worth the detour. Patchi and Fatima are wonderful hosts, both speak enough English. Patchi is a character, in the best sense of the word, justifiably proud of the beautiful house he built himself. Rooms have outstanding views, ask for one with a balcony. Price is great and breakfast might be anything from home-made beer cake to bacon and eggs. Relaxed atmosphere, you can use the fridge, make a cup of tea when you want etc. Don't miss it!
Review 6：This is not a criticism, was a little tricky to find, but keep your eye out for the little painted signposts sayin 'Iketxe' these help as our gps took us to about 1km away!

Review 14：Patxi and Fatima were the most gracious of hosts, over and above all expectations. Such a perfect location, lovely home, great room, everything was perfect.
Review 15：Access to the place is a bit complicated you need to use gps. can call the owner and she is more than lovely, come with her car to show us the way.

Review 17：It would have helped having specific directions on the web site on howto find the road up to their home. Perhaps they can put a obvious signjust outside the airport for the direction of travel. You can'tdrive into the old town , we couldn't with the narrow and busystreets and dead ends. The Casa is in the hills before you reach town.We found a hotel with an English speaking clerk who gave us an area mapand showed us the route up the hill.The information office closed between 2:00 and 5:00- just the time one would arrive into town to find the Casa. Also, many people do not speak English and could not help us.
Review 18：The owners of the Casa Rural were delightful and made us feel at home.They served us a good breakfast; it was an extra charge and worth itgiven the distance we were away from town.If you want to have a country stay in the green hills above the city, you will enjoy relaxing there.
Review 19：Fatima and Patxi are such nice hosts, they really make you feel at home. We extended our stay a few days to be able to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere a bit longer. The house is situated in the hills above hondarribia, a 5 minutes drive from town and the beach.You should arrive in daylight, as the car gps not necessarily knows the location, but from the main road you can follow the signs with the name iketxe on it and you will find the casa rural. Breakfast is delicious with fresh fruit, omelette or croissant, fresh orange juice, marmelade, bread, cheese, coffee and a view down to hondarribia.
