Review 1：All employes are fantastic, very warm and friendly. We felt like home. Food is very good. Everything is very close, beach is beautifull. 100% recommended

Review 2：-NO free wi-fi. 12 $ for 1 hour. It is strange, because in hotels like this is supposed to be free wi-fi. Greedy! -For using safe also have to pay! 3 $ per 1 day! Greedy!

Review 6：not enough umbrellas on the beach... germans were leaving their towels on the lounges despite a notice not to reserve them in such a manner. too many smokers on the beach - should have divided the area for smokers and non-smokers. also no topless signs must be installed.

Review 10：I had a family emergency so I had to leave, I was told that my refund would take 10 - 15 days it's been a month, several calls, emailing bank statements, copy of credit card and still nothing!!!

Review 11：Not really bad typical when in DR and surrounding areas. This resort has a great Buffet Style Restaurant and is very well stocked and maintained. Some of the dish's did not agree with me, however, the salad, pasta bar and desert bar are really, really good. On the rest of the food If you think some of the other items may look a little questionable take a small sample back to your table and try it first!!!! This resort is no different than any other place(s) in DR once "off" the property you are constantly bombarded by Amigo's (I never know I was so popular) that try and sell you anything and everything. The word no/no gracias/nada and more seem to make a little difference. At the point when they figured they can't wear you down anymore they will simply ask for money..... Just be careful and use all the regular precautions when of this property or any heavily guarded properties.

Review 12：By far this property has been one of the best I have stayed at in DR. The overall condition, layout, beach, security etc. is very impressive. Not to mention the décor of the property is very unique and chic. My wife and I like kid's, however, the adult only policy is GREAT!!!!!!!!!! One can actually relax and enjoy the pool area in peace and quite. Staff are very wonderful I think the adult only policy makes them a little more relaxed, check in/check out was very smooth with courteous staff fluently speaking several different languages. The beach area is awesome.....Unfortunately it was quite windy when I was there however just bring you chair down close by the water and you will not get pelted by sand. Water temp is amazing and this location has a sandy bottom with no rocks to trip or cut your feet:) There is also a bar (open 24 hrs) on this beach and is GREAT!!!! Just a few steps away from the sand/ocean and it's right there...Wow!! Grounds are very well maintained and easy to navigate the rooms very spacious and have a upscale vibe to them. Simple, however, very effective. For those who like non stop activities and need to be entertained this resort has a program just for you!!!!! They have games and activities all day around the pool and at night transition into the night time entertainment. From what I could gather I think it is a family run operation and these good people put out a huge amount of effort and truly give the guest a good show. Btw: for those of us that cringe at the word "Karoke" beware of karaoke night and sit waaaaay in the back and watch/laugh at everyone else. Quite entertaining.

Review 18：Hotel charged me an extra $100 when I checked in and blamed it on the exchange rate. I did not catch the mistake in time to argue. Also, be aware that they have no late night bar and will try to send you up the road to a local 'disco' which is not only empty but also charges North American prices for booze as well as a cover charge. Easy to drop a $50 in there for nothing. Reminded me of home!

Review 20：No real fruit smoothies at the beach. The air conditioning didn't work very good. We had to leave it on all the time to keep the room cool. To do that, we had to beg for a second room key, which shouldn't really be necessary. If you have a car, the primary parking is extremely small and unlikely to have room and the secondary parking lot is really far away.

Review 24：You had to pay ridiculous amount of money for WiFi, they kept trying to sell you what seemed to be a timeshare, they harass you on the beach while trying to relax by trying to sell you items or services, there was a mouse in the main restaurant, the food wasn't good, they didn't clean our room twice and the sheets had an odd smell, and on the last night there wasn't any toilet paper so I had to call reception for it. The pool with the bar in it is DIRTY. I informed the bartender who was working there and he didn't seem to care. I stayed for 6 days and wouldn't make up stories just because. This is a real review and I wouldn't recommend a person to experience this kind of stay.

The restaurants were excellent and the buffet had a great variation. Our room was comfortable and the balcony was great overlooking the pools. Great swim-up bar and the bartenders were great! You can't bring any people you meet back to the place. Unless they are at the resort. It's a little ways from the beach and anything that single men want to go do...like drink and party. $35 cab ride one way to Puerto Plata/Sosua

Review 43：Despite nice facilities, the atmosphere and type of vacation was not for me or my fiancé. The staff was very intense, and tried to force us to book a meeting so they could sell us some sort of membership package. When we declined, I had more than one person approach me and try to tell me that I had to. We paid for our vacation, so I didn't owe them any of my vacation time to sell me something I didn't want. The food was not good, and made my stomach hurt several times after eating it. Because the resort was secluded, there weren't really other options for places to eat, so we were stuck. Also, for an all-inclusive place, we had to pay for internet (I think it was something like $25 for 24 hours). BUT, there was a complimentary porn channel, which was a thoroughly unpleasant surprise when we were trying to relax back in our room. We also had to pay $35 to check in a few hours early, which they didn't mention when we asked ahead of time if we could. Lastly, they are affiliated with companies that offer things like jet ski rides and parasailing, but that was also a disappointment. Very low budget, and when we weren't able to do the parasailing part of what we paid for, we did not get a full refund because they claimed they couldn't get their hands on enough cash, and they couldn't refund our credit card. I won't say it was all bad, but it was not for us. Between the intensity of staff, the bad food, the lack of much surrounding the resort, the surprise costs, and the disappointments, we felt kind of trapped there and couldn't wait to leave. If you're going to Playa Dorada, I recommend Blue Jack Tar, which doesn't have as many amenities, but was a much better experience. Or, go to Cabarete, which was a blast.

Review 44：The facilities were very nice, and if you're looking to just stay on the resort property, then there is a lot available. They're located on one end of a string of resorts, so it's a little more quiet and secluded, which is nice, and there is a very nice lounge area.

We tryed to check out early which we did but they said we wouldnt get our money back and that we would have to take it up with Booking.com. Needless to say I would not recomend this resort.

A single drive to Puerta Plata was $ 15 ( = 600 Dom pesos), local mini bus transport only 50 Dominican Pesos and local taxi only 200-300 Dom Pesos. This was also applicable for the different tour offers. Far too over size prices. In Puerta Plata at the tourist office you book much cheaper. The room was optical cleaned, however don't look under the bed! Noisy half good working airco. We staued 6 days and of the 3 a la carte restaurants mostly only one was open and at least one day none. Not a 4 star hotel worth! Many old men accompanied with young local girls!!!!

Ihad to pay extra for the New Year s Eve dinner (buffet at 40 usd).Regular activities such as sushi, yoga or Spanish lessons.
