Review 1：Room was disappointing, even had tape on ceiling, bed was almost on thefloor, tv old, reception was poor, wifi was poor, had kitchen but oldand not furnished. We almost left. Also no one spoke English, at thehotel. Even with Google translate, they didn't seem to understandour questions.

Review 3：As soon as we walked into our room we encounter an invation ofmosquitoes and front desk told me to use their insecticide, after I usedit then big cockroaches started coming out in the kitchen area. This wasthe most disgusting thing that ever happened to me at a resort. I wasvery upset and asked them to change me to another room, they did it butthe other one was also not well maintained and we saw 2 smallercockroaches (one in the bathroom another one in the kitchen). Can'tbelieve it. And on top of everything, the mattresses and pillows wassuper uncomfortable. A nightmare! This place have an amazing location,great space but the property maintenance is the worst thing I ever sawin my life. My message to the onwer is that if he attack the insectsplague, do a deep cleaning in the rooms, change the mattresses & thepillows, and invest more money upkeeping the interior of the rooms...You guys can be charging a lot more per night. You guys need to put themaintenance of this place as the number one priority. This is aHospitality business and this Resort is missing the most importantthings in hospitality, which are: cleanliness, comfort and customerservice. Guys this place is a jewel that need a lot of work to shine andif you guys don't do the work I don't see your business with abright future. Take advantage of all the positive stuff you guys haveand fix all the bads. This can become an amazing place but is in yourhands guys.

Review 6：Overall I was happy, just as an American I am spoiled rotten with WiFi. So having to go to the lobby was my only issue. Considering mosquitoes were destroying my legs.

Review 37：Let me begin by saying how attentive Piergiorgio "Pier" Boldrini was: the evening before heading down to Santo Domingo, heading to Juan Dolio, I had a few questions about ground transportation to Plaza Real. I emailed him 10pm EST (11pm AST) and received a lightning quick response on the best way to get to Juan Dolio. The property is in a way Gilligan's Island. All you need is on the property. From Brugal Blanco to a Farmacia. Aside from the beautifully stunning female staff (and I'm a Gay man), the ocean took the crown...it's a one minute walk..30 seconds (Gay man--Native New Yorker) It's your bungalow by the sea, the Caribbean Sea. Oh yeah, there is wi-fi (if you're that vacationer) Highly recommend.

Review 38：The bar closed along with the pool once the sun went down ? What'sthe point of even having a resort if u close both down at 7 pm on aSaturday night ??!?!?!?!

Review 39：The only thing I did not was too happy about is that the pool close at 6pm What's up with that it was still hot and the Sun was Blazing hot a swim at the pool would have been Great. I will still go back though.

Review 41：When I went on the website I clicked on the two bedroom suite and paidthe fair for a two bedroom suite of $87 per night as opposed to the $39for the single bed suite. When I got to the resort I was given a singleroom with one bed. I was traveling with my family and this did not workfor me. They accomodated me with a one bedroom and got two twin sizedbeds which made due. However, I was not happy because I did not get whatI wanted. Also, no one advised as to the times for the pool and beachaccess which turned out to be 6:00 PM-shortly after I checked into theresort. For that evening we were unable to enjoy the pool or the beachthat entire evening.

Review 51：The place is surrounded by huge condo complexes. A lot of construction in the immediate area: Loud, dusty and no respect for early morning hours. Food at restuarant fair to good. Local food shop bare. Public access to beach closed at 6pm. No use of hotel pool after 6pm.

Review 52：Not much. The room had a kitchenette which was very handy and convenient. The AC in the bedroom worked well. Good water pressure and hot water.

Review 53：Construction across the street made our room very dirty, but not theirfault.It will be very nice when the condos across the street arefinished. Housekeeping was bad this time. Never any towels! I dontunderstand how they could take the dirty towels and not replace them..??!! Its boring at night but we had already been there before so weknew that. No place close to dance or hang out in the evening, but thebeach is very clean and if you dont want to spend alot of cash its agood choice. All the rooms have kitchenettes so you can but food andmake some of your meals and save alot of $$.

Review 54：This was our 2nd time at Plaza Real. We had a room on the corner with avery large balcony and a small view of the ocean,through theconstruction site. They just remodeled their dining and bar area and itlooks great. Staff is always friendly

Review 55：My reservation from booking.com wasn't registered?! Fortunately it wasthe low season so we got a different room but Booking.com need tocheck this.The walls are very thin. VERY thin. The nights are so quiet during the week that you wake up every time there is an alarm in the streets. It's pretty far from everything so you'll need a car. You'll need to park your car in the street.

Review 56：Nice, quiet and green setting between a bunch of dull appartments. Therooms are pretty big, with balcony. The beach is on the other side ofthe street, but you'll have to pass an alley that closes at6. What the hell?! Nice and cheap restaurants nearby. Santo Domingois not too far away.
