Review 1：Very nice and helpfull staff in front desk. Clean room, nice breakfast, free wifi and parking. Nice view of the castles. There is also a good restaurant inside the hotel.

Review 6：We loved the restaurant in the hotel. It was beautifully decorated, the service was great and the food excellent. The location is fantastic as well. We had a view of Neuschwanstein from our balcony. The lady at the reception desk was very pleasant.The breakast (included) was wonderful. They had a little bit of everything including cheese, meats, yogurt, cereal, fresh rolls and jams. Loved it.

Review 10：The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English since our German wasn't so good. The room we had was clean and a good size. The location of the hotel is close to the castles and to shopping. Also there is plenty of parking. Breakfast (which was included) was awesome. The breads, meats and cheeses were great as well as all the other items.

Review 15：The breakfast buffet was adequate, but not special. Our room was toward the front of the hotel, and our balcony overlooked a car repair shop to the south. The room was clean and adequate if a bit dated.The hotel is on the main highway through town. We had quite a bit of road noise until after 10 at night, and it started up again about six in the morning -- Remember, this is busy dairy farming country. This prevented us from leaving our balcony door open for fresh air. Request a room toward the rear of the hotel. The hotel where we've stayed several times previously was booked, so we chose the Weinbauer. It was less expensive, but not really comparable to our first choice.

Review 16：The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was large and comfortable, with a small balcony. The WiFi worked well, and we enjoyed the lounge, which offered an "honor" fridge with beer and cold drinks. The bedding was very comfortable. The adjacent restaurant (not part of the hotel) was excellent.

Review 19：Wifi was a little slow, husband is having to telecommute to the US so this is an ongoing issue we have dealt with. Parking was at a premium, I think because we arrived while the restaurant was in peak service so several restaurant patrons may have been using that space?

Review 20：No matter what the view is from your room is, be sure to walk down to the common area at the end of the hall and take in the beautiful castle view. Even in the rain and fog, it was breathtaking. We had early reservations for touring the castle and loved being within such close proximity. The restaurant is not affiliated with the hotel but is physically attached. On the pricey side, but we were treated to an excellent meal and outstanding service so we felt it was $ well spent. We stayed at this hotel on our honeymoon 20 years ago, and it is nice to see they have maintained it well through the years, with some recent renovations. Excellent breakfast with probably the friend lies staff we have encountered at the bigger sized hotels.

Review 25：This hotel is very comfortable and excellent located to visit the Neuschwanstein castle. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The restaurant next door is not owned by the hotel, but has good local cuisine. Parking is beside the hotel. There is a nice brewery down the street to drink beer.

Review 27：We had a lovely stay in beautiful Bavarian village. Room was big and comfortable, breakfast was varied, fresh and very tasty. Parking is space outside the hotel. We had a big balcony with the room and a large bathroom. There is a sauna in the hotel but we've not had a chance to use it. The village itself is beautiful, amazing views on the mountains and the castle (Neuschwanstein). There is a restaurant on the ground floor serving very good, local dishes - highly recommended.

Review 28：The only thing that wasn't perfect was the extra bed for our adult daughter. It was a couch cushion that wasn't the kist comfortable.

Review 39：We had a lovely peaceful stay in the Hotel Weinbaur. I emailed in advance requesting a room with a view and that's exactly what we got wow! A very big thank you to all that staff who went over and above to help us from a piece of cardboard to protect a picture, working out the buses to booking us a table at Cafe Gerlinde for lunch (go- all the locals go for the fantastic cakes)

Review 40：Nothing. Somebody might say that it s located a little far away from the castle (2km). However, we really liked the walk to there.

Review 42：I would have liked to have a fridge in the room. The fitness area had no weights, just two cardio machines. If given the opportunity again I would probably stay in Fussen since it is a little bigger and not far away.

Review 51：Good location, the spa there are good saunas. The breakfast is really good with a lot varieties and fresh. Super cozy seating room with local beer available in the fridge with a view of the Castle! Restaurant facilities around with wonderful food and beer. The staff is too friendly and kind!!

Review 52：The hotel staff certainly can't do anything about intense fog surrounding the castles. If anyone in your party has trouble walking, take the precautions to heart and only visit the excellent new museum at the bottom of the mountains and buy postcards of the castles!

Review 53：The hotel is easy to find by car, and close to ticket office for the castles and new historic king museum. Parking is convenient. Breakfast in hotel dining space and dinner at attached (separately managed) restaurant wee both excellent.

Review 54：Really comfy bed, lovely lady on reception who helped us decide where to go/what to do, fab breakfast. Located close to the castles and conveniently close to Fussen to get a short taxi ride (less than 10eur) in in the evening. Great choice!

The parking lot is small and tight, and we had to park in a more public lot further away. It was a bigger hotel than I was expecting. Reception was very friendly and the restaurant was open late for dinner and served good food. Breakfast was great too.

Review 67：I vot a room to ghe main strees side and It was very loud and noisy. The room did not smell well as if it was a not a non smoking room. The breakfast was english breakfast style in a big room without the charm of the local kitchen.

First, there is a glass divI ding door between the main bedroom and bathroom hallway door which is a great feature because it eliminates any noise from the hallway. Food was good and price was spot on for what you get and location. I would recommend everyone to eat at the attached restaurant, its a different company so no billing to the room. Food was exceptional and quality was great.

She warmly welcomed us, allowing to resolve some problems associated with my mistake in the order. Then she recommended us a few places for family visit around. Everything was perfect. Many thanks.

Review 80：My room is facing a busy road. It can be really noisy. I am living on the top floor. One-third of the ceiling is declining. I am not used to that. I hit my head 5 times in one night...... haha! But here is still a pretty good place.

Incredibly friendly reception staff - very helpful with information about the surrounding area. The local discount card was very useful. Breakfast being included was a major plus.

The fact that we could walk out the door of the hotel and almost immediately find ourselves on paths across fields and into forests and mountains, all with a great view of Neuschwanstein.
