Review 2：It was hard to find but it was pobably the GPS' mistake.

Review 3：Owner was very friendly. They also run a restaurant downstairs. Other good restaurant just around the corner. Excellent value for money.

Review 4：Very cheap, simple accommodation but with good basic facilities (and good towels). Convenient for local bird sanctuary, for those with a car. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to town centre for meals, etc.

Review 5：It's a bit on the 'tired' side and from a different era, butif your not fussy about the 'fashionable' it's clean, towelschanged regularly and beds made.Spanish only TV in the room, but then I didn't come here to watch the box. Music channel for background noise if anything. No private safe for securing valuables or money. Next to a 'main road' (which is a bit unfair as it's not that busy) so you can be disturbed by early morning traffic, but life starts early here and the restaurant and some nearby 'bistros' are open early for breakfast (starting at about 6am). Not a bother for me as I was up early with them :)

Review 6：The staff (mostly family run) were friendly and provided a good basicservice. Not alot of English spoken but you can get by in a mix ofbroken French, German and Spanish as they've had guests from allthese regions staying. 1 staff member has reasonable English and he getscalled on if the conversation gets a bit complex, but it's all good!Restaurant served hearty basic meals for a good price, you get a lot of bang for your buck here. Tables, utensils etc are clean and linen is fresh. Met a few locals who came for dinner so if the locals use it.... Shower/bath, good strong and hot shower! A must for any traveller, it was a welcome 'treat' at the end of a long day. Off the beaten track, it's located in a small town away from the main area of Empuriabrava and caters for the 'local' rather than the 'visitor'. Small selection of bars and bistro style venues nearby also at very good prices. Go for the menu of the day and you won't go far wrong. I ate one meal for 10 Euros, that was 2 courses, water, carafe of wine, and espresso for the finish.
