Review 4：The very warm welcome by the host, Carmen! We walked three hours through the rain and she immediately offered to wash our muddy shoes, soaked clothes. The use of the kitchen! Thank you again!

Review 6：I really loved the environment of the Caputxeta. Carme is a lovely woman, also her husband is. You can cook if you desire in the kitchen, they offer you all the facilities you can need. Breakfast was also great.

Review 8：Among a regional tornado and heavy rains in Catalunya, I've spent a delicious and very relaxing while in La Caputxeta. Many thanks to Carmen for her assistance, caring advice and friendliness! Close to the French border (20 mn) and to Barcelona (70 mn), it's a pleasant and convenient place to stay in a cosy atmosphere.

Review 17：A little bit out of town and not very nice walk through underpass. No problem if you are driving.

Review 19：The underpass on the walk into the village is unlit (vandalism) but it is still worth going there. I am sure if Carmen could fix it she would.

Review 20：The friendliness and helpfulness of the Carmen, the owner, was exceptional. The location for exploring the area and especially the Aiguamols Natural Park is great and if you fancy a game there is championship pitch and put golf course next door. As with everything else just ask!

Review 21：No "in room tea service". We did mention it and the hostess agreed that at least a kettle should be available in the common kitchen area. Only one chair in the room so no where to sit except on the bed for one of us. (we were in a room for three) During the peak season (in the summer) this would be a wonderful place to attack the Costa Brava from, however during the closed season thats exactly what it is - closed.

Review 22：The room was exceptionally clean. Large enough to not feel cramped with a nice sized shower along with good facilities such as slippers, shower caps etc. The bed was comfortable and king-sized using a memory foam mattress as were the rectangular pillows (there were no extra pillows in the room but the hostess did ask if we wanted more). The 21 inch TV worked fine with mainly Spanish and Catalan channels with one documentary channel during the day in English. Breakfast was served in the Kitchen rather than the "conservatory" dining area due to the temperature (which shows that they are very thoughtful of the guest's comfort) The kitchen area is a good size and available for all guests (not a problem while we were there as we were the only guests!) with an electric cooker, microwave, dishes and cutlery, dishwasher, fridge, (no kettle until we asked for one), oh and no cups (strange but it seems that the Catalans do not drink during the day!) Cups were available at breakfast time. Breakfast consisted of various dried sausages, some fairly bland cheeses, a flask of coffee (which I think had been made from instant), Various tea bags, milk, Nesquik, instant coffee powder, orange juice, sliced bread (with toaster) various jams and marmalade, tomatoes, garlic, olive oil & salt (presumably for putting on the toast). There was a bowl of margarine portions which tasted of nothing so we asked for butter which was provided the next day. The pool looked inviting although fairly exposed (during the summer there would be a serious danger of sunburn if in the pool for too long). Very friendly staff (2 that we saw) provided extensive information on our arrival about the locality, especially pointing out the best "value for money" restaurants. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Review 25：My girlfriend and I stayed in the Hostal Rural Ca La Caputxeta for one night and it was outstanding. We arrived at about 8pm and Carmen, the owner of the Hostal, has already been waiting for us. She explained all the facilities of the property in detail and then showed us our room on the first floor. She even offered us to help with bringing the bags from the car to the room. The room was very clean and in typical cottage style. She also provided us with two free bottles of water. After we moved our entire luggage from our car to our room Carmen informed us about secret places to visit and where to have dinner in the close surrounding. She recommended us a nice place in Cadaques but unfortunately they were fully booked. The next day we could enjoy a typical rich Spanish breakfast buffet with tostada con tomate y aceite, jam, the Spanish salami fuet and many more things. As a surprise she served us homemade cake which she already prepared at 7am. After breakfast we unfortunately already had to leave but we will for sure come back again and stay in the Hostal Rural Ca la Capuxeta again. Thank you very much for your hospitality, Carmen! Review 27：If you are travelling with young children this place is brilliant - youhave a full kitchen at your disposal and the outdoor play area iscompletely secure. Rooms are modern and well kept. Kids had a great timerunning around and playing in the play house, and with the owners dogs.Its not often you find a place you can totally relax at let the kids runwild. Lots of things close by to do - butterfly park, beach. No amazingview, but quiet location - we will go back with no hesitation.
