Reviews for Apartamentos Casa Sardina
Review 1:If I had wanted to prepare all my meals there, I would have found the kitchen equipment a bit limited. But it was adequate for my purposes.
Review 2:My apartment 4 (2 floors above the bar) was simply furnished, but spacious, very clean and generally well equipped. With the windows closed, it was quiet. But, if I opened the balcony window, I could sit on the balcony and enjoy watching life go on in the street below. The aircon was efficient. The staff were helpful, especially Christina who spoke excellent English and was very friendly and professional.
Review 3:Staff were brilliant, friendly and kind and it never felt touristy. Balcony in the room :-) The little restaurant downstairs was amazing. Very much an authentic slice of Spain. we had a lovely time!
Review 4:To leave and come back home Perhaps just a little to far from a beach about 30min in a taxi.
Review 5:The staff. The food the whole time we had there was wonderful . We could not find any faults
Review 6:The apartment was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. It is well located near the centre of Alhaurin El Grande. Three minute walk to bus stance. Convenient bus travel to Malaga, Marbella, Fuengirola and the neighbouring townof Coin. I have stayed here before and will do so again.
Review 7:Our second visit and perfect as always. BIG rooms and one of the best restaurants in town. Special thanks to wonderful Cristina who always makes the best of everything.
Review 8:The cold!!
Review 9:The food in Casa Sardina and the excellent red wine. The friendliness of the staff and local people. Christina was particularly kind and helpful.
Review 10:Breakfast not served until 09.30. We were lucky to find a parking space nearby. Otherwise there is limited parking at €12/night.
Review 11:Excellent restaurant & Tapas bar. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced.
Review 12:my room was freezing as no heating, no tea or coffee making facilities which was really annoying and the room was no where near as the photos showed was very disappointed
Review 13:staff were friendly and spoke english very well
Review 14:These apartments are right in the bustling old town of Alaurin el Grande, surrounded by old churches, bars, small shops selling local produce, and a market square. Don't expect that people will speak Spanish, but do expect everyone to be friendly, cheerful and helpful.
Review 15:We stayed in Apt 2 with windows looking into the internal buildings around the block so no views. The kitchen had hardly any equipment in it other than to make a drink so no good for anybody intending to fully cater for themselves.
Review 16:Spacious and clean apartment in good location with a lift. Nice bar below. Would recommend it for those intending to eat out or in the bar below.
Review 17:Very noisy every Thursday very early with street cleaning! Can be noisy until midnight because of restaurant below .
Review 18:The apartment is spacious and quite well equipped. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff specially Diego (owner).
Review 19:The air conditioned apartment was large and spacious and provided everything we needed for our short break. The food in the bar restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious . The accommodation was centrally situated in the old town close to shops and amenities.
Review 20:There was no oven, no cups, all plastic cutlery and no iron which was a need with small children. The bar was also closed all day on Sunday where others were open in evening and didn't open until late Monday morning and we had to leave for the airport at 7 so couldn't check out! Luckily had family in the town who had to pay our bill after we left.
Review 21:Large spacious, clean apartment. Great value for money. It was in a good location and the Bar downstairs had the best food in town? One English speaking lady in the bar who was very helpful and attentive.
