Reviews for Hotel Garni Schloss Schänke
Review 1:We had a spacious room on the first floor with an attractive and comfortable 4 poster bed and 2 comfortable armchairs. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Parking was nearby and free. Lunch at a nearby restaurant was good. The host at the hotel was welcoming and obliging and obviously takes pride in his establishment.
Review 2:The Internet was not strong-had to stand in bathroom to make a Skype call. Kept cutting out.
Review 3:Wonderful family-run atmosphere complete with dog in front lobby. Nicely renovated areas-clean, bright with creative details.
Review 4:The wifi connection was poor.
Review 5:It's was a beautiful place. The service in general is really good and the staff is very nice people! We really enjoyed our visit.
Review 6:Arrived 10 minutes after 18:00 and had to call the owner as the main property was locked up. Eventually found the room in an annex building but it wasn't easy more than I was prepared for after a long journey. WiFi was not not working

Review 16:All modern coms in a medieval tower . Historic, cosy , elegant and perfectly in character with the lovely town of Bautzen.
Review 17:The tower is not connected with the hotel; you have to walk for about 150 m. As it was good weather this was no problem for us, but with rain or in winter; it can be a minus.
Review 18:The rooms in the tower are large. The breakfast-buffet is not enormous but good.
Review 19:Nothing really. For an Englishman a flaw in just about all German hotelsis their failure to provide tea/coffee making facilities inbedrooms. I would have liked a bathtub rather than just a shower, butagain that seems pretty usual in Germany.
Review 20:Location excellent. Proprietors extremely pleasant and helpful.Furnishings, etc. were delightful. The town of Bautzen is beautiful, whilst the paradox of its being a 'town of prisons' does notdetract. Indeed a visit to the former Stasi prison is important foranyone interested in recent history.
Review 21:It was extremely comfortable and central to everything I wanted to see.The staff members were very kind to me and facilities were excellent—Iloved the breakfasts. It was a great accommodation and I would recommend it to anyone coming to Bautzen.
Review 22:Fabulous rooms, ambiance, and delightful breakfast. The Roesners were most accommodating.
Review 23:Well furnished.
Review 24:Visiting this hotel is like coming home. Once again everything was just perfect. And this time the hotel dog was even more cute than earlier!!!
Review 25:Nothing
Review 26:Excellent historic building close to the castle and old town. Very friendly staff and lovely dog. Good range at breakfast buffet.
Review 27:Lovely hotel, friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast.
Review 28:that in the upper floor the Wifi is not working
Review 29:the parking + breakfast
Review 30:This was our fifth time at this hotel. We love Bautzen and this hotel and the lovely, shy hoteldog!
Review 31:This is not a hotel for handicapped. No elevator.
Review 32:It is well located. It is clean. It is unique. It is fun!
