Review 15:Absolutely nothing

Review 16:This was the best room of our tour with our dog. Our room had kettle, terrace and lots of space. Very dog friendly welcome, felt at home straightaway. Great walks to castles from the door through forests. Breakfast was the best breakfast

Review 17:Shower poorly designed, got entire floor wet

Review 18:Great staff, great breakfast. Love the "self help" fridge for beverages after hours. Easy access to Konigsschlossen. wifi fast, but requires 2 steps to login.

Review 19:Pillows were to thick for us but they can provide regular/thinner ones, just ask and they will get it for you.

Review 20:Breakfast is awesome compared to anything we are used to in the U.S. Family is very kind and always willing to help.

Review 21:Nothing!

Review 22:For us everything was perfect. Friendly and well kept familyhotel. Quite a new building that looks old. Very fresh throughout. Breakfast with many tasty local things. Also very helpful staff. Wifi very good and free parking just next to the entrance. No disturbances during the night. We stayed 3 nights and will certainly be back

Review 23:Nothing, our stay was perfect!

Review 24:This hotel was easy to find, with plenty of parking. The staff were welcoming, spoke English, and helpful. Breakfast was a huge buffet with everything you could want. The rooms were beautiful.

Review 25:The door lock is poor at Room 21. Please fix it. It needs shading curtain at Room 25, too bright at morning time.

Review 26:We stayed very comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality.

Review 27:A spoon on my coffee saucer was dirty! Jam and piece of egg shell stuck on the back of it. Either they left what appears to be clean as is, or didn't get washed properly - either way, it was disgusting. I would give pretty much perfect score for this establishment if not the incident.

Review 28:Nice area, spacious room, clean, and staff lovely, and wide variety of breakfast.

Review 29:nothing

Review 30:this is the best hotel we have stayed in our Europe trip. Room is very spacious, super clean. The bath room is also big, and our rooms all have nice bacolny. Very close to New Castle, better than staying at Fussen hotel. we all wishes we can stay more days in the hotel.

Review 35:Wifi could be better.

Review 36:The hotel was near Neuschwanstein castle. Breakfast was excellent! Staff was great and helpfull. There was no bar at the hotel but you could buy beer etc. from fridge in the lobby by yourself. Spacious room with balcony heading to the castle. Free parking.

Review 37:Unfortunately they don't have facility such as a gym room or spa.

Review 38:every setting and furnishing down into very fine detail of this hotel are planned with well-intentioned and all heartfelt. People are are all very nice and helpful. Very relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable environment to spend our holiday there.

Review 39:Nothing. It was perfect.

Review 40:Everything! The room was spacious and had a table and chairs, comfortable beds, a little private outside area and was quiet. Fantastic location within sight of the castles and cable car. Delightful, bright and homely breakfast room decorated with interesting collectables, and the best breakfast we've had anywhere with lots of choices. The Wilms family hospitality was the best. There was a little guest lounge from where we bought small home-made gifts. We stayed four days but would like to have had more time. We hope to go back with other members of our family. (We found out that a 'guglhupf' is a little cake - a lovely name for a lovely place).

Review 41:The service was WONDERFUL - they were so helpful and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. And the breakfast was amazing - I've never seen so much food; everything you can imagine and it was fantastic! Can't say enough good things about this place!

Review 42:Nothing.

Review 43:Everything. The two things stand out were 1. breakfast. Most of things were home made and it was delicious + all the china they use. 2. The room itself. It is spacious and clean and have all you need. The balcony has a nice view. I am seasoned traveler and stay mostly in brand names. These one is just simply nice.

Review 44:The room was big, the shower was hot, breakfast was good and the wi-fi was fast. The hotel is about a five minute drive from Neuschwanstein castle and five minutes from Füssen.

Review 45:very clean; gorgeous dining set; superb breakfast with so many varieties of food in beautiful pots, plates, bottles, cups, vases... oh, my! very caring interior design; gorgeous view of the castles in the balcony;

Review 46:There are few shops and restaurants around this hotel.

Review 47:The room is clean, and nice view. Stuffs are very kind, and good English speaker. Our best is the breakfast!! There are a lot of chooses.yum yum♪

Review 48:They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Though showing up before the 8am start of breakfast, they provided me with a pot of coffee to take to my room. The breakfast was terrific with homemade jams and a variety of excellent breads.

Review 49:The breakfast was unsupervised and very random. We had to hunt for spoons plates etc ! There was a kettle & cups in the room but no tea/coffee etc The honestet bar had no bottled water and the hot drinks machine was turned off! We had to walk to another hotel to get a hot drink and some water as our hotel was unstaffed beyond 8pm.

Review 50:You can walk to the castles directly from the hotel

Review 51:Our room was clean, with comfy beds and pretty bedding--we lucked out with a second floor room with a balcony facing the mountains and the two castles. We absolutely loved the owners, esp. Uli:) And what a scrumptious breakfast! Unforgettable!! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Review 52:The owner and family were warm and friendly. They were very helpful giving sightseeing info. The hotel was located in the country along with farms in a quaint little village. We could see the Neuschwanstein Castle from the back of the property. Nice place to take an evening walk. I can't forget to mention the wonderful breakfast every morning! Most of the goodies were homemade!

Review 53:When we went the wifi didn't work, but this wasn't there fault.

Review 54:They were so helpful and the breakfasts were amazing-- anything you wanted! Snickers, toffee, hazelnut, peanut butter, chocolate spreads...homemade cakes and nut breads...puddings, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc etc. we had our own cottage which was amazing....had a view of Neuschwanstein castle.

Review 55:This hotel makes visiting Fussen a memorable experience. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The room is comfortable and our room (no 21) hadview of the castle. The good reviews this hotel receives is true. Do not hestitate to book staying there. We loved our stay.

Review 56:- maybe could be a bit cheaper... - a fridge in the room would be a plus

Review 57:- quiet room - very comfortable bed and spacious room - BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING! - employees very friendly and helpful - never seen such clean room

Review 58:wifi not working on the first day

Review 59:excellent location, large and comfortable room with the view of the castle, good food, very kind english speaking personnel, wifi, parking

Review 60:we were staying at the ground floor with a baby. the floor is somehow cold(in early April) for the baby running around( room temperature is however really comfortable). Next time we will decide to stay on the upper floor

Review 61:super breakfast, nice owners. Uli and Monica are really hospitable and always give us good advices. will stay here again next time.

Review 62:The room was wonderfully decorated with lots of special little touches. The view from our balcony was breath taking. We felt so welcome and very well looked after. Will be back in Summer to check it out again sometime.

Review 63:Very friendly people running the place. Even after I messed up the booking and called several times to update my booking, the owners were extremely friendly and professional. The house is traditional style, but with modern and stylish equipment, furnishing and everything was provided for a comfortable stay. Bed was excellent, balcony was nice, and breakfast absolutely outstanding. Great location too.

Review 64:Nothing at all. The property really only suits people with a car though.

Review 65:The owners/managers are wonderful? They couldn't be more accommodating and helpful in a 5 star hotel. The room was a standard double room with adequate but not excessive space. The bed was sooo good I had my best night's sleep in 4 weeks. Breakfast was extensive and well prepared - eggs to order! The rooms was fresh and clean, the bathroom had a bath too.

Review 66:wifi was a little poor in the room, however it didn't dampen our stay!

Review 67:Such a lovely town and really REALLY lovely people who worked there. Breakfast was amazing, one of the best! Nice outdoor patio and great views and feeling of the place. We had an awesome time :)

Review 68:Price for Children under 12 years. I am booking sheaper as i am paid.

Review 69:Location, House and Room Style, Breakfast international and Bavaria Style, Comfort in Bath-Room and Services

Review 70:Unfortunately the Wifi was virtually non existent during our four night stay. Mentioned it to management but problem wasn't resolved.

Review 71:Great base location close to castles and minutes to Fussen and nearby lakes. Loved our little self contained and well equipped cottage which was very private set to the back of the hotel. Excellent onsite parking.

Review 72:Lady owner was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was sumptuous, with many tasteful home-made products. We stayed in the appended house. All quiet and clean.

Review 73:The wifi signal did not reliably reach our room. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

Review 74:Great place to stay. The staff were very helpful and nice. The room was very comfortable.

Review 75:The room was a bit chilly when we first arrived, but in the hotel's defense, they had just opened that day after 2 weeks of vacation so all the rooms were closed up. Wifi signal in the room was a little weak but plugging in the phone took care of that.

Review 76:The room was huge, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had a spa tub, sauna, and a nice couch as well as a day bed near the door. Hotel staff were gracious and accommodating. Breakfast offerings were extensive and delicious. Easy walking distance to Neuschwanstein, and to town of Fussen if you enjoy a longer walk. I would visit this hotel again.

Review 77:- checkout time early (10 AM) - no fridge in the room

Review 78:- Friendly staff - Great breakfast & cake - Location is walking distance to landmarks as Castle Neuschwanstein - supermarket and restaurants in the neighborhood

Review 79:Insufficiently supported mattress even after adjusting the bed frames. Curtains too thin, or incomplete, to hold back the early morning sun, even if the mountains delayed its appearance.

Review 80:The welcome The helpfulness The Stunning view of the mountains and Castle from the windows The excellent breakfast, notably fresh bread and pastries.

Review 81:nothing to mention we liked everything

Review 82:liked everything, amazing breakfast selection with lots of homemade jam and salads / spreads, the owner is very kind and attentive. we loved this place and we will go there again.

Review 83:This was the second time we have stayed here and my second review. Both times were excellent! The owner is delightful and very kind. Her dog is so sweet. The breakfast was amazing! The best spread we have ever had in any of our travels. She had everything and anything you could have wanted. She made scrambled eggs and homemade breads. Everything was delicious. Really yummy. Location is great. Both times we ate at the brewery down the road which is really good. Close to the castles and easy to access. Highly recommend!

Review 84:a little be noisy if stay at the room facing the street

Review 85:Easy access to Castle either on foot, by bike or by bus. Quiet surroudings. Not like tourist town-Fussen. Very nice decorations and facilities of the hotel. Very nice host. Plenty of breakfast options. Will stay here again if come next time.

Review 86:Very nice room - spacious and looks like a studio apartment. Proximity to the castles - you can either take the bus or drive to the castles parking lot. Free buffet breakfast was good.

Review 87:Excellent B and B. No evening meals.

Review 88:Beautiful view from our balcony of the Castles in the mountains. Very helpful, welcoming and friendly staff. Cycle friendly. We were completing the Romantic Road. Excellent breakfast and special cake made on our departure day was delicious. You can purchase beers and drinks We were signposted to two local restaurants for evening meal. Wise to book as very full at weekend. Easy bus journey to castles and short distance by bike path to Fussen

Review 89:My son said jacuzzi tub did not work but don't know if it was supposed to.

Review 90:We had 2 rooms mid September and was really surprised. The breakfast that Monika (the owner) put out was way beyond anything I expected. This was NOT the normal limited choice fare but a true expanse offering an abundance of variety and choice. When we arrived the night before her daughter (Ulie) gave us such a warm and inviting welcome it almost left me wondering if I was on a different planet. The location was excellent and very convenient. I would recommend very highly!

Review 91:We rented the little house behind the main building for 3 nights. It was cozy, clean, quiet, and it felt like we were coming "home" each time we returned. Loved it.

Review 92:Very comfortable hotel with friendly helpful staff. Our room had a view of the magical castles and mountain landscape. The breakfast was amazing with many homemade breads and jams among other options.

Review 93:The weather,on our first night we were woken by torrential rain, so we watched the thunder and lightning in the mountains from our balcony. Fantastic

Review 94:The owners were wonderful really went overboard to make our stay comfortable. We got a room at the top so had fantastic views of the mountains and especially the two castles we had come to visit. The bathroom had been modernised to a very high standard. Breakfast was served in what felt was their kitchen so made it feel very homely. All the jams and spreads were homemade too. It was a very relaxed hotel we felt we were staying with friends.

Review 95:Staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Let us out our motorbike in their garage. Recommended a lovely restaurant for dinner. The breakfast options were vast and great quality. The dog was lovely. Wish we stayed longer.

Review 96:There is no a microwave own and a washing mashin

Review 97:This hotel has got a very good location. It's near from The castles, Fussen, Schwangau, shops. You can get to every that place for 30 minutes. We lived in the guest house it was very comfortable with a small child because it had a small yard and a good equipped kitchen. It was a calm and clean place.

Review 98:The only problem was that one of the curtains was rather thin and let in the light from the street lamp. However, I think that this will be sorted out.

Review 99:The staff are all very helpful and speak good English. The hotel consists of two buildings and we were in the one at the back. We were away from the road which is often rather busy. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a large range of cereals, breads, home made cakes, eggs and meats. The jams were made by the daughter and were available to buy.

Review 100:Everything was perfect, very friendly owner who made us feel welcomed! If in this area, would definitely come back. Breakfast was better and had more variety than a 5 star hotel! You can tell that the owner truly loves what she does and really takes pride and care in her guesthouse.

Review 101:It was the best hotel experience ever I've made so far. The location was just near the castle, food the host cooks herself was fantastic, and the room was very cozy and clean. Definitely would like to go back to stay in near future again.

Review 102:Wonderful hotel!!! Location about 25-minute walk from Fussen train station but well worth the walk. Very nice room with a small balcony and views of the Castle. Staff (Daniel) was very friendly and helpful. The bicycles available for rent are very good and we rode to the Castle parking lot, about 20-minutes. Breakfast was very good with a very nice selection.

Review 103:There were no fridge.we asked for one big bed, but it were separately two beds. After the first night nobody cleaned our room.

Review 104:The hotel is closed to castles and König therms. Good breakfast , wonderful view on the mountains. In our room were all necessary things in bathroom and also teapot in room .

Review 105:No lift, but the owner and staff help me with the luggage; Room near the road, but was quiet at night. Nothing much to complain.

Review 106:The best place during my 23 days travel. Delicate decoration, nice people, spacious room, abundant breakfast. Nice owner and staff, tried best to solve all my questions and requirements.

Review 107:Breakfast was wonderful.Ten kind of homemade jams and more than 30 types for morning tea.i'm so in love with this place. you can see the neuschwanstein castle from the hotel. ทุกอย่างดีมาก น่ารักมากๆ เจ้าของเป็นกันเองสุดๆ อาหารเช้าดีมาก ของกินแบบโฮมเมดเพียบเลย.

Review 108:First of all it is obvious that this is family run because everyone really cares to be helpful. When we arrived the son took so much time to help us sort out our future castle visits, highways, food questions etc. The next day his mom, the owner, checked with every single table at breakfast to see that each family had whatever it needed. Breakfast included a zillion little things to taste as well as the usual items. The location was great. We could see one of the castles from the balcony and we were away from city noises. I loved the cows and llamas on the way to a fabulous local restaurant just a nice hike down the road. The room had a couch that pulled into a bed so my companion and I could have separate beds. Tea was provided in the room. Location to the castles can't be better. But again the highlight is the family that owns this facility.

Review 109:I stayed 4 nights. The hot water for my first night was not working well. But it is not big problem.

Review 110:It is just 5 mins drive to Fussen and Castle (Car Park). Great location. You must not miss the breakfast. Wifi is fast.

Review 111:Amazing breakfast, by far the best compared to many high rated hotels. This a very well taken care of b&b and the people who operate it really love what they do.

Review 112:No negatives to the Landhotel. We did find the castles to be *mobbed* (late July): arrived at the village of Hohenschwangau to get tickets, at the foot of the castles' hills, at 11am only to find an hour line for tickets and a 4 hour wait for the next available tour entry time, in the pouring rain, no less! So we walked up to the older castle and then strolled back to the Landhotel through the fields and mists.

Review 113:We drew a large corner room with a terrace and very new en suite, lots of light, quiet. The greeting by Ullie was beyond charming and she couldn't have been more helpful in orienting us to what we wanted to do and see. Wonderful breakfast in a roomy-but-comfy Florida room. Lovely proximity for walking to the castles through fields and woods, and along the river a 10 minute walk to the old city of Fuessen, even easy walking to several good restaurants. Easy parking. Very nice lounge area with honor-system refreshments including proseccos and teas.

Review 114:This is a great place. There is NOTHING I didn't like.

Review 115:Breakfast was Great. Location was Perfect. Room was Clean & Comfortable. WiFi worked well. The lady who runs this place is SO welcoming.

Review 116:Beautiful setting with views of the castle a short block away. Bus stop 1block to hotel coming from Fussen but be sure u know the specific stop as not all buss drivers do.

Review 117:We loved our stay, very comfortable, clean and homely room with a balcony. We enjoyed the fantastic breakfast which included home made jams, breads, cakes and other specialities. Very convenient for the castles. The owner was very friendly and helpful and recommended places to visit and a local hotel for us to go for our evening dinner, which was superb. Free Wi-Fi and ample free parking. Quiet location less than 5 minutes drive from Fussen. Would strongly recommend

Review 118:our room needed a little updating, but the deck and view completely made up for that..

Review 119:Our room had a very nice deck with a lovely view. The breakfasts were wonderful with an amazing array of choices. The breakfast room was light and cheerful.
