Review 1：The beds were two single beds instead of one double. Kept falling between them.

Review 2：Great tasting well prepared warm breakfast! Very friendly, kind owner. Great service!

Review 7：It was expensive compared to many other B and B's we had stayed at but most accommodation in Frederikshavn was expensive. No TV in the room.

Review 8：Our room was good with a window that opened up onto the foresty area at the back of the house. There was a communal area to sit - not sure whether there was a TV there or not. Breakfast was very good. Lovely furniture.

Review 9：The breakfast was superb. Great selection of meat, cheese fruit and bread. The room was spacious and very comfortable. There is a lot of character to the building and it's surroundings. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Review 10：In the afternoon when we entered the room there was a paint smell, but it was okay because people were painting hotel from the outside. In the early morning 7am. I heard the people voices and they started to work. At 8 am one man came by my window and started painting it. We had a room in a second floor. So I wake up of the bad paid not smell in my room. At the time when we checked out I talked with the man in reception (I think it was owner of the hotel) about the morning disturb and he was acting like does not know anything.

Review 20：i am normally no review writer, BUT... this is a very different place to stay! almost a time travel 200 years back. despite of being a regular biz-traveller i will definitely remember this place. it's clean and u can enjoy a good night of sleep if u are lucky like me the birds wake u in the morning and you can see the red dawn over the sea closeby from your window. :-) erik is a very helpful guy and i especially liked the handwritten bill on parchment even it got complaints in connection with my travel-expenses. :-)

Review 21：I have to reluctantly say that as we are both life-time non-smokers, we are very tobacco smoke-averse. The sitting/dining area was very smoky when we checked in, but thankfully this was not the case at breakfast.

Review 22：It's a unique place, and diametrically opposed to town-centre hotel chains. The proprietor keeps bees (so do I), and we were served his own lime-tree honey at breakfast. Again, this is something you just wouldn't get in a branded hotel

Review 23：Amazing manor house with a moat and swans! The decor and bedrooms are just superb and the breakfast (especially the omelette) is scrumptious. We will be back!
