Review 1：Staff (only 1) not at all happy or friendly, walls paper thin so no sleep at all could hear the next rooms TV till 3 am then 6am chairs and tables being moved around downstairs, could hear every single noise. no tea making facilities, bar closes at 11 we were just given a bill and not even asked if we wanted another drink. very dark furniture and balcony was shared with 2 other rooms. would never stay again. we booked out after 1 night and stayed at a different hotel.

Review 5：The negative point for the hotel to be aware of is they are showing photographs of the wedding venues and not the hotel photographs. If photographs were taken of the fountain seating area, bar and dining room (stunning) and communal areas and grounds they would receive far better reviews.

Review 6：This hotel is beautiful! Having seen some bad reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is mainly a wedding venue with hotel guests as a sideline. The pictures shown on Booking.com website are those areas reserved for hotel guests only! However having asked to move from a room in the main hotel without a terrace, we had a room on the terrace with amazing views. The bedding was comfortable and rooms typically Spanish. The drinking area by the fountain was lovely, the dining room superb. The bar menu was good value for money and serving staff welcoming. Wifi was free (I read somewhere that it wasn't) but you have to get the password from reception. I also read bad reviews about the breakfast which we thought was good and considering it is included in the overall price represented excellent value for money! I wouldn't recommend for children as there are not safe play areas. Overall good value for money.

Review 7：The hotel is a secondary business to events and banqueting, therefore if you are guest on the day after one of those, most likely you won't have access to the pool and not many staff will be around. Breakfast choice is quite limited.

Review 9：We had a reservation for 3 nites in a double bedroom. They gave us a Twin room for the 1st nite. It was cute but very tiny and noisy. Second room was better but the heater didn't work too well. Breakfast is nothing special. Industrial bread. Cold coffee. Last morning, not enough people for a buffet so we had bread-butter-jam and fruits on a plate. That was it. We asked for some ham or cheese but got none. We couldn't access the pool, not even for the view.

Review 13：only stayed one night - staff very friendly - location great views from pool -however hotel is on a bend of a road with fair amount of traffic. Also rooms in main part of hotel are good - others around the side are more like cabins. Overall a good experience as staff offered choice of rooms.

Review 14：The reception give you remote control for TV and air con which is slightly strange as normally it is in the room. Wifi does not stretch to the pool. However, this hotel is very friendly and comfortable. I would recommend!

Review 15：I only stayed for one night but staff were lovely! Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel was not very busy but the peace was very welcome. I only had a snack at the bar so I do not know what the full meals would be like. However, I just spent 5 nights in a 4 star at Mijas and sleep there was near impossible. Also if this hotel gets it's food right ( maybe it does already?) then it is a sure visit! Wifi reaches room and views from the pool area are superb.

Review 16：We weren't aware that the facilities were out of action due to wedding that evening & private party following day. Unable to make use if these but they looked lovely. Pre warnings would have been good. The children were very upset. Instead we had to sit out the front by the fountain for them to run around.

Review 17：The hotel setting looked perfect when we arrived. Beautiful pool area & room 304 was great. However, room 12 was our second room & it was awful. Very small box room. We paid more or less the same rate on booking.com as the hotel actual rates. Breakfast fabulous. Value for money otherwise if we could have used the pool & bathing facilities. There was a wedding function on & so the pool closed as we arrived & was also shut the following day, private party. Not great with young hot children who you'd promised a swim to!

Review 41：We actually booked this hotel for our anniversary and were disappointed to find out that the pool was locked up and out of use. In fact there was a padlocked bar across the gate of the pool area. Would have been nice to stroll around the pool area and chill. As apart from the pool area there wasn't many other relaxing areas. We also wanted to book dinner for our anniversary meal but were told that the restaurant wasn't doing meals but we could purchase snacks from the hotel bar. We ended up having to go into Alhaurin for meals. I am assuming that it was out of season for the hotel but think this should have been mentioned in the booking.com description. Pics look great on here but not good if you can't use anything. So overall not a great experience for our 15th wedding anniversary.

Whilst it is by no means a modern hotel, it was very well appointed and the beds were extremely comfortable. For €40 BnB, this was excellent value for money. Breakfast was basic but good, excellent coffee. The staff were so helpful too.

Review 49：Dirty room when we came! A lot of noise during the night fromother quests.Felt locked up with all the indoor doors closed with a key in the hotel. ( night time- what will happen with fire? )
