Reviews for Hjorths Badehotel
Review 1:The room was a bit old and worn, but maybe the rooms in the Kokholm hotel are of a newer standard...
Review 2:The staff was very helpfull and serviceminded so our stay with our one year old boy was easy and comfortable. The food was excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner - something we would recommend to friends and family if they were in the area.
Review 3:Nowhere to hang towels. No hair dryer . Restaurant pricey but food was disappointing and service terrible though we only tried once so it may have been unfortunate.
Review 4:Simple quiet room with comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Wild landscape around the hotel is very beautiful, the beach is just down the road and the area of giant sand dunes is like nowhere else. Lovely gardens and a big comfy sitting room to lounge in.
Review 5:Small rooms without bath-toilet @ over 1000 DDK is unreasonable.
Review 6:No soap, shampoo, conditioner. Dirty toilet. Lamp was not working. Floor was dirty. Window lock was broken. Drain was slow, no water pressure in sink.
Review 7:Buffet was good except no orange juice.
Review 8:Due to the age of the buildings and the fact that they are situated in the ‘wilderness’, outdoor life inevitably finds its way into your room – mainly spiders, millepedes, woodlice, earwigs, gnats and houseflies. These creatures are not a problem per se; what could be improved, however, is the attitude of the staff to remove them on a daily basis. If anything could be worth improving, it's cleanliness. This does not mean that the hotel is perceived as ‘scruffy’, but it's the many details that ad up to the impression that there is still room for improvement.
Review 9:This Hotel excels in its unique and beautyful location. It is virtually situated ‘in the middle of nowhere’, in close proximity to the impressive dune ‘Råbjerg Mile’ (1+ km) and to the beach (< 1 km). It is beautifully quiet and lets you enjoy the silence of nature in all its aspects. The Restaurant which belongs to the Hotel offers excellent food. The dishes are prepared from local products (fish, meat, potatoes, vegetables); and eating here is always an enjoyable experience.
Review 10:Location, location, location. We walked out of the hotel and into thedunes and walked for miles. It was beautiful at all times of day, thelight creating new magic at each point. It is also a short drive toSkagan and the point where the Baltic meets the North Atlantic. This isa very relaxing place to stay with a nice staff and very comfortablerooms. The historic hotel building is charming.
