Reviews for Hechenbergerhof
Review 1:Weather could be unpredictable during the Fall season.
Review 2:Well placed in the valley and very quiet. You could hear the cow bells early in the morning. Nicely closed to Fussen & Garmish.
Review 3:Great location in a small but charming village, with lovely views of the mountains. Our kids especially loved that our view from our breakfast table was of horses in their small stable next door! I also thought the beds were very comfortable.
Review 4:During the in-between season (between summer and winter) all of the local village restaurants were closed and similarly for many of the nearby areas. Unfortunately we were snow-bound at the property for a day, although the roads were clear, since we had rented a small car. The apartment, although well appointed and equipped does not have a toaster or microwave oven.
Review 5:Beautiful quiet village location, with very helpful host Dietmar. Spacious, comfortable apartment with lovely views, close to bakery and supermarket. Well situated for driving to attractions of Tirol and Bavarian Alps.
Review 6:Nothing
Review 7:*The host was the nicest gentleman ever and he provided all things that we needed *Location *Reasonable price *Comfort *Fast internet *Guest card *Tennis court *Clean *Quiet *I would imagine the area in winter is even more beautiful with all the skiing activities
Review 8:All was very good!
Review 9:Comfortable, clean, spacious, well-equipped, and reasonably priced. Bakery right across the street was convenient.
Review 10:no hairdryer in the bathroom no shampoo and soap
Review 11:the kitchen facilities Great view of the mountains from the room Helpful staff Quiet location
Review 12:We had to check out too early, 10 am. He were asked to check out even earlier. Also check in wasn't until 3 pm. Even still, I would stay here again if I was in the area, but would request later check out at least.
Review 13:The guest card provided by the hotel allowed us to visit the local swimming pool and use those facilities. It also gave us a free gondola ride. My friends in another hotel had to pay for the gondola ride. There were other discounts that we didn't use. The 50 sq m apartment was comfortable for three of us and it had a nice living room. Lots for the kids to do outside the apartment as well.
Review 14:weather ;) .. actually none!
Review 15:Everything! Perfect location, very very nice staff, good facilities, provided all other appliances which were initially not there in the apartment, helped exploring nearby area..
Review 16:He was very kindly helping us a lot staying his house. The apartment separated building from house owner. It's include everything. You can't find missing something.
Review 17:We stayed in Bichlbach during off-season and without a car, and there were only two restaurants open in town. Every other store, including the small convenience store, were closed. If you plan to visit during off-season, come armed with groceries and your experience will be perfect (you'll basically have the town with all its naturally beauty to yourself!)
Review 18:I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our host spoke English and was extremely welcoming, and the facilities (including the spa and the mountain bikes) all seem to be brand-new. Our apartment was absolutely gorgeous and the beds were comfortable. If you don't have your own car, be aware that the last train back to Bichlbach from Reutte-in-Tirol is quite early (I want to say it was 5 something). Bichlbach is also well situated to do a day trip to Neuschwanstein castle. Take the train to Reutte-in-Tirol, catch the bus from there to Fuessen, then one of the many tour buses from Fuessen to Hohenschwangau/Neuschwanstein
Review 19:Owner very nice and helpful! We can see the snowy mountain from the balcony, cool and fresh mountain smell. Incredibly comfortable beds. There are all the cooking facilities here including oven and all the table sets needed. 20 mins drive from new swan castle. Only 5 mins from the ski area and we plan to come back next time in winter. Definitely super place for family stay and value for money, highly recommend for families!
