Emporium is a family-run hotel in the historic center of Castelló d’Empúries, in Catalonia’s Alt Empordà region. It offers a gourmet restaurant with an award-winning wine cellar.
The hotel is just 2.5 miles from the beaches of the Costa Brava and Empuriabrava Marina. The area around Castelló is part of the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park. There is easy access by road to Girona, with free parking at the hotel.

Review 18：Hotel Emporium is an wonderful Catalonian experience - I cant recommend the pace enough. The highlights were the beautiful, local gourmet food and service, the hilltop village 5 minutes walk from the door, tourist haunt/beach a 5min bus-ride away - but mostly the family-run atmosphere - a lovely cuddly mum, her husband, father-in-law and gorgeous twin sons - go to this place, its lovely :)
