Review 1：A bit on the expensive side.

Review 2：Polite friendly reception staff. Clean comfortable bedroom. Lovely roof terrace with sun loungers. Nice outside bar area. Secure underground parking. Located in a quieter area about a 10-15 minute walk into the centre. The town centre can be very noisy so this is a better option for a nights sleep.

Review 5：Wonderful 3 night stay from the warmest of welcomes on arrival to our reluctant departure for Santander. Reception staff truly exceptional. We arrived early but our room was ready. The restaurant was closed but the chef was located and, though the waiting staff had gone home, the receptionist took our orders and served us in addition to her reception duties. Food in restaurant as good as anything in the town and very good value. Our room was spacious, well equipped and immaculate. The bed was enormous and extremely comfortable. Secure underground parking.

Review 11：A lovely property, a beautiful room with lots of space, interesting design, and comfort. Best of all was the lovely receptionist Maider, who welcomed us warmly, provided lots of great information abou the town, and went out of her way the morning we checked out to give us good advice about how best to travel to San Sebastián, given the road race that was affecting traffic that day. She was gracious, very well-informed, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much!

Review 12：We liked the friendly staff the comfortable rooms and the good restaurant. It is five minutes or so walk from to old town or the small bars and shopping area but that was no problem. The town is very pretty so it is a nice place to stay if touring or passing through.

Review 13：Beautifully flavoured steak was served almost cold on one evening and reheating it meant it was then over cooked and not so flavoursome. Hot plates may have prevented that.

Review 14：The location was perfect. Quiet yet only 7 minutes to the lively new town. The old part took only a couple of minutes longer.The outdoor escalator down to the town was brilliant. Lovely comfortable beds and a buffet breakfast with a wide choice of foods. Excellent choices in restaurant with well priced wine. Staff were low key but very helpful when needed. We would definitely stay again especially as underground secure parking was available.

Review 15：Restaurant: after the free drink, we indicated that we wanted to have diner in the resto. We took some more drinks on the terrace and still indicating for the diner. When we wanted to have diner, there was no table free for the next hour. Next day (Sunday) we tried to make reservation in time, but no diner was served on Sundays. Only Tappas. We agreed on that and saw some people get a real meal "because they made reservation". Next day for breakfast, the floor was still covered with food from last evening!!

Review 28：This is a very good hotel which, though not the cheapest, offers excellent value for money. Quiet, comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Secure underground parking was a bonus. The receptionist was extraordinarily welcoming and helpful. Situated a short walk from the seafront and old town the hotel is easy to find and convenient for a variety of purposes. The town itself is interesting and full of character, Our room overlooked the shaded garden which also provided the backdrop to breakfast, which was also excellent. We would readily return if in that area again.

Review 65：It is halfway between the port of Roscoff in Northen France and the area of Southern Spain where many Brits live. So, it is convenient, well designed, modern and friendly.

Review 66：The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers free bikes which are great for exploring the town. The rooms are clean and well appointed. We were also offered a welcome cocktail on the evening of our arrival, which was a nice touch.

The hotel was just minutes from the San Sebastian airport and that was very convenient for our late arrival and early departure at the start and end of our trip. We had a number of great meals in Hondarribia, the two most memorable in the Hotel Jaizkibel dining room. Fantastic food and wine selection and friendly service.

Good breakfast with an orange press, so fresh orange juice!
