Reviews for Weinhof Gassen
Review 1:We loved our stay, the building is very neat and the family who runs it is very friendly, they provided airport transfers which was perfect for us. The location is great, within blocks of the Mosel River and also near restaurants. Rooms are nicely done up and clean. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thanks :-)
Review 2:Leaving. I would quite happily have remained there for several weeks.
Review 3:Everything. The room was spotless and absolutely huge. The bathroom was large enough and looked brand new. A shower which gave hot water! Satellite TV which worked! The breakfast was very good, everything you could need. The owners were very pleasant. While the hostess spoke no English, and called her son to translate, the host spoke good English and has a cracking sense of humour. The guesthouse is a beautiful old building on the edge of town but is within walking distance of the town, the Mosel and a supermarket. There are several pubs within a few minutes walk, some of which are smoking bars, a very rare commodity these days. The guesthouse also has its own range of wines which, to be honest, are the best I've tasted. I've bought 8 bottles! It's also a very cheap place to stay considering the quality of the rooms. If you're looking for loud music and a party go elsewhere, this is not for you, but if like me you want a peaceful relaxing holiday, while still having bars and restaurants, it's perfection.
Review 4:Super friendly and great location.
