Review 1：Lovely hotel in Fredrikshavn, only a short walk from the ferry terminal. Staff were very friendly and even gave us a slightly bigger room without us asking which was very kind. Great breakfast, lots of choice.

Review 2：No mini bar, bad quality of shower jel. During my departure i check in early in the morning and at noon i return to take my luggage, i ask for a place to changed and they sent me to the toilet..

Review 8：This hotel is one of the best we've stayed in during our travels through Europe. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. It is central, close to shops, cafes and train station. The staff were all excellent and our room absolutely delightful.

Review 9：We have stayed in Best Western hotels in other countries, albeit not budget rooms, and expected a better standard of room at Herman Bang. It was an attic room where one of us had to bend right over on getting in and out of bed, the bedside tables had curved sides so you had to be careful where you placed your coffee, book or false teeth or they would slide off on to the floor, the shower room was very small and had a broken extractor fan and a sink plug that didn't work; these were not attended to although we reported them on the first night of our three night stay. More surfaces in the shower room to place glasses etc would be a small improvement. One of the receptionists told us that there was no computer for visitors' use, and we subsequently found that there was one in the dining room. Very small lounge area near the reception.

Also, it was located close to the stairsand elevator entrance and people kept banging the doors when enteringthe floor. We could hear everyone's discussion. It was very noisy,which made it hard to sleep. If you want a good night sleep, do notstay there.

Review 44：It was a noisy hotel we could here the people in the room next door talking. We woke up a couple of times because of talking and TV's in other rooms. Its a very old hotel. I would not stay here again.

Very expencive hotel parking fee...around 35 usd per night, but actually you can find free places on the next street, or use municipal parking infront of the hotel The sysytem block your accses room key up to 1 our before check out, so you need ask on reception to unblock ;)
