Reviews for Hotel Bellevue
Review 1:nothing
Review 2:convenient location a few minutes walk from Hameln centre; off-road parking; very clean and modern rooms; run by very hospitable English-speaking family
Review 3:None.
Review 4:Very helpful English speaking staff and very good breakfast provided. Appears recently redecorated and is very comfortable. Highly recommended. It IS within 10 minutes walk of Old Town but good bus service is also available at the Hotel door!
Review 5:Connecting to free Wifi did not work for us. But we were just passing though so it wasn't the end of the world.
Review 6:We like the location and short walk to the center
Review 7:"Preiswert": good value for money. Good, quiet location, within short walking distance of the beautiful, old centre of Hameln. Friendly staff, nice comfortable room.
Review 8:Ground floor rooms at front can be noisy from traffic.
Review 9:Very pleasant villa hotel within walking distance of the town(10 mins). V comfortable room with sparkling modern bathroom. Good parking. Excellent breakfast. Exterior terrace ideal for a drink.Amiable and willing staff who speak excellent English.
Review 10:Tea kettle in a room would be a very welcome addition to the room amenities (though during the breakfast we've got our thermos filled with hot water without any problems, which was quite helpful later on on the road)
Review 11:Own parking. Good location not far from city center. Complimentary bottle of water was a very nice touch in a hot day. The room had a balcony, which was a nice surprise. Very friendly and helpful English-speaking staff.
Review 12:We were met by the owners wife, who knew exactly who we were and who spoke perfect English. It was only an 8 minute walk into the old town. The hotel was immaculate and had ample free parking
Review 13:There are no facilities eg lounge/bar etc but was not required and aware at time of booking. No staff on site at night.
Review 14:Pleasant reasonable sized room, excellent shower room. Plenty off street free parking. 8/10 minute walk into town (flat).Good buffet breakfast in very nice breakfast room. Hotel very clean.Very comforable large double bed. Easy walking distance into town.Hotel easy to find off ring road especially at night and not get lost in the "Alt Stadt" with its small one way streets etc.
Review 15:It could do with some updating. Wi-fi was only available for 20 mins for FREE, not enough if one is away on business. As a family run hotel, I somehow expected a more welcome stay.
Review 16:The breakfast bar was great with lots of choice.
Review 17:The first room were shown smelt very strongly of smoke, the only alternative room was small, with a miniscule shower en suite. We saw a guest smoking outside the dining room with the door wide open, there is a cigarette machine outside of the foyer, this hotel cannot sell itself as non smoking. The safe did not work, and there was no information about Hamlin in English, the owner was dismisive of any of our complaints,we acquired all our information from a very helpful Tourist Information.
Review 18:Location
Review 19:The only disappointment was there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
Review 20:This hotel is within 10 mins walking of town centre, staff are friendly and very helpful. Good choice on buffet breakfast. Rooms are a good size, very clean and comfortable and have a mini bar fridge, but no tea/coffee making facilitates. It has free wifi. Hotel only needs pool, spa and restaurant to make it 5*!
Review 21:Nothing.

Review 54:Nice, friendly B & B in a good location. Good breakfast
Review 55:The friendly welcome, the excellent service, the fact there was free parking, the comfortable, clean rooms. Would definitely use this hotel again.
Review 56:Poor WiFI and no lift so it can be quite a struggle to the top floor.
Review 57:A good location, a 15 minute walk To the old town. The staff were extremely helpful and very professional
Review 58:I lost internet access but that was my fault. I failed to confirm thee-m sent by the isp. The determined effort made by the owners resolvedthe problem.
Review 59:Easy to find just 300 meters from B1/B83.Good safe parking,10 minutewalk over the Weser bridge to city centre.Friendly and helpful staff.
Review 60:This hotel had been given 3 stars, but is worthy of 4 stars. Great and very friendly staff. They are very helpfull and also the staff at the breakfast very friendly. Good breakfast. Very clean room, Spacious and the bathroom very clean. City centre is just 8 minutes walk from hotel. Thuis is a hotel we can recommend to everyone.
Review 61:Breakfast was a little monotonous when you are staying for a week. Maybe fresh croissants might have been nice one or two days. Wifi was annoying having to sign back in every day....
Review 62:Lots of hot water every evening for a lovely bath or shower Rooms clean and tidy and lovely bottle of water on arrival. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Britt was lovely ! :0)))
Review 63:On arrival we were greeted by the English owner who was expecting us, so knew exactly who we were. The whole hotel was immaculate. Breakfast was well set out and good selection. There was always space in the car park even if returning late. Only a 10 minute walk to centre of Hameln and on main road for driving on and out easily, so great position.
Review 64:Situated on main road but really quiet hotel. Short walk to centre for good choice of eateries. Helpful staff, big, comfortable, spotlessly clean en-suite bedroom. Good fresh breakfast.
Review 65:No lift, noticeable when on the third floor (but there are ground-floor rooms).
Review 66:Convenient location, comfortable room, very clean, friendly family-run hotel.
Review 67:No dislikes but tea and coffee making facilities would have enhanced the experience even more.
Review 68:Friendly greeting, helpful staff, flexible attitude and very dog friendly!
Review 69:Nothing!
Review 70:Loved the hotel, very clean room & friendly staff. Liked the homely touches. Just the right distance to walk into the town & great car parking.
Review 71:The hotel had everything we needed....staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. Having already lived in Hameln while in the army we knew the area well. The cafes and resteraunts are worth visiting...even for a coffee or ice cream.
Review 72:As it was hot we had to open our windows which faced the street and there was quite a bit of traffic noise. This would not be a problem in cooler weather or on the other side of the building.
Review 73:Beautiful homely b&b. Very clean and tidy. Very pleasant owners.
Review 74:There was nothing I did not like.
Review 75:The hotel was very easy to get to, sat nav took me to the door. Plenty of Car Parking in site. It is conveniently located so you can walk to the town. It's about 10 mins walk so you get to work off your dinner on the way back. The staff were very friendly and so helpful. The breakfast was as you'd expect in Germany. Various Rolls, Bread, Cheeses, Meats, Cereals and drinks Coffee, Tea and Juices. I've started to learn German and thought my first chance to practice, however the staff spoke fluent English. So anyone without German this place is perfect. Upon checkout I practiced a bit more German and they were great even helped me with what I was trying to say.
Review 76:Breakfast Buffet 1st Class selection of foods & drinks. Great location at the bottom road to the Klutturn Ideal for a jog.Easy walk into the town center.A very quiet area of the town.Very Helpful & friendly happy Staff.
Review 77:The Bellevue is a first class place to stay. Top quality furnishings and fittings with co-ordinating decor give it a very relaxing atmosphere. The dining and self serve buffet areas are extremely well laid out and spotlessly clean. Plenty of space in the rooms with the provision of a desk to provide a business area if required.
Review 78:The hotel was in a good place about 15minutes walk to the centre of Hamlyn. Staff very pleasant. good choice at breakfast, lovely room. Would stay there again if visiting that area.
Review 79:depending on room you might have street noise
Review 80:modern rooms in an old villa very good value for money on-site parking for cars, garage for bikes friendly staff would definitely stay there again
Review 81:I could not find any faults, as it forfilled my expectations.
Review 82:I found this Hotel friendly and very clean throughout. In easy reach of historical town centre which must be viewed. Staff spoke good English which was an advantage, as I had issues to arrange for further touring.
Review 83:Hameln is a very beautiful and calm city and the Bellevue hotel is located definitely in a good location of city. A clean and quiet hotel is fully matched with city. I deeply recommend this hotel for those need to go for Hanover show. It makes a really good balance with noisy and polluted busy day, having a quiet evening after and breakfast in a beautiful environment before!
Review 84:Very little to complain about. The ensuite had a small shower only. There is no evening meals served at the hotel so you will have to make the 10 - 15 minute walk into town to find somewhere to eat in the evening, it was snowing when we were there, so the footpaths into town proved to be quite slippery.
Review 85:A warm friendly, family run Hotel. Nice clean rooms, nicely decorated, free car parking, free wifi, easy walking distance to the town centre of Hameln. Staff all spoke English. Help yourself to the hearty breakfast!. The old town of Hameln is very pretty indeed!.
Review 86:Room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The buffet-breakfast was excellent. The owner and staff were very pleasant and helpful. There was off-road parking. It was just a short walk into Hamelin.
Review 87:The Wi-Fi is free but unusual in that it requires a verifiable e-mail address for access and gives you 20 minutes to answer a verification e-mail. The Wi-Fi also requires that you make up a username and password for subsequent sessions. It is important to make up a password that you are not already using for anything important, as that password gets sent to an insecure (unencrypted) web site.
Review 88:This is a 3-star hotel and is excellent at that level. Expect more and you will be disappointed.
Review 89:A lovely family-run hotel with good location & provided free parking on site, only a 10 min walk to old town. Rooms were not so big but clean enough. This's a good half way break when we drove from Kassel to Hamburg. When the time we stayed, not so hot but each room has a fan. A wonderful buffet breakfast was included in the hotel rate, prefect stay
Review 90:Lovely big room in old, turn-of-the-century villa.
Review 91:Good, central location in residential area very close to old town. Good value for money, very friendly and clean.
Review 92:Liked everything, but a warning should be given to older people about no elevator.
Review 93:It was a charming old house, beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. It felt very homey and comfortable.
Review 94:No air conditioning (it was very hot when we stayed), some road noise when windows are open (not a problem if windows are shut). No tea/coffee making facilities.
Review 95:Clean and spacious room. Very good location for walking into Hamelin town. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Continental breakfast, good choice, all fresh. Plenty of parking. Overall good value and would definitely stay again or recommend.
Review 96:A charming family-run hotel - the staff were welcoming and the room waslovely. It's located a little out of the main town, but the Altstadt isonly a pleasant 10-15m walk away. The buffet breakfast was very good, served in a pretty sunlit dining area. The hotel itself has the feel of a country home. This is a small thing, but of several hotels we've stayed at throughout Germany so far, this is the first to have provided washcloths! Extra points for this.
Review 97:A well run small hotel. I have stayed twice and enjoyed both visits. Rooms are clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast is particularly good.
Review 98:The only problem was that my room was on the third floor - yes I booked lated, but at my age it made it a "chore" to climb the stairs. My wife almost accompanied me, but she cannot do stairs - "maturity" has a way of sloing your down.
Review 99:This was my second stay - really to attend CeBIT in Hanover. The price was right, the drive into Hanover was pleasant, the hotel is extremely quiet, parking is plentiful and free. I actually canceled a hotel more distant from Hanover (in Rinteln) after a vacancy appeared at the Bellevue just before I left the US. I was pleased.
Review 100:Room off dining room was a bit distracting
Review 101:Location to Haelyn was excellent and room size and comfort were very good
Review 102:Friendly helpful staff. A very good breakfast and within walking distance of town centre.
Review 103:No coffee or tea facility in the rooms.
Review 104:Everything was first class.
Review 105:Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in room
Review 106:The setting and staff friendliness
Review 107:Very friendly & professional family run business .
Review 108:Friendly staff; 10 minute walk to old town; free parking; free wi-fi
Review 109:No hot drink facilities in the room
Review 110:Friendly staff
Review 111:Bed was uncomfortable
Review 112:Staff very friendly
Review 113:Staff very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.
Review 114:VeEry friendly staff that spoke english. Rooms were spotless and the Wi-fi worked perfectly.
