Review 1：No lift in the hotel.
Review 2：This is a charming little town which is only a few kilometers away from the shrine of Covadonga and a wonderful mountain drive to the lakes of Picos de Europa. The proprietor of the Hotel Monteverde was very nice and, even though he doesn't speak much English, we were able to communicate adequately. He allowed us to store our large bags in a room on the ground floor instead of having to haul them up two long flights of stairs. The wifi worked well and there was parking but it was tricky when we were there because of a large exposition that was going on in the town.

The canoeing which they offer at a good price takes you from thehotel to the river and brings you back afterwards which was helpfulbecause we were travelling without a car. Wifi worked well in the room.
