Review 1：A lot of sounds from birds and crickets during the night, since there was no possibility of closing the windows. There were mosquito nets though.

Review 3：We loved this hotel. It was a super charming place and the owner's put a lot of thought and love into rooms. We stayed in a "Double Room." (Not the "Basic Double Room.") Great personality, great value for the money. I recommend it.
Review 4：Breakfast area is open and without fans, so a lot of mosquitoes during breakfast. The towels were dirty and smelly. Pillows were not clean. Every time we travel around the world, we pay the hotel fees at the end of our stay. Nevertheless, this time the administrator asked us to either pay the whole amount in advance or give her our passports until payment. Also, she refused to provide a key for the safety box until payment. Only when we came back with enough cash to pay our 4 nights reservation in advance, she released our passports and gave a key for the safety box. As we made reservation through booking.com, she already had our credit card details, therefore, the measures taken by the administrator were extreme and illegal. By retaining our passports (as we are not dominicans) she restrained our mobility, as passports are our only valid international ID
Review 5：Location is excellent, although the way to get to the hotel is very muddy. Nice pool. Breakfast was ok.
Review 6：Scarce breakfast and poor quality bedclothes and worn towels. No bathroom facilities except a tiny piece of soap. No generator for frequent electricity cuts ( it's a common problem of all the hotel there, though).
Review 7：The hotel is ideally located, near the beach and the Las Terrenas' restaurants. The place is quiet small but cosy, a pool is a big plus, no doubts. The hosts are a nice french family living in the same area. Some guests commented little hospitality of the owners, it's not true, we got everything we needed during our stay.

Review 10：Check out time 10:30 and stuff was nocking on door twice at 9 am. We went out every evening and wanted do sleep as long as possible. We came to breakfast always just before ten. It was no problem to still sit down and eat. That was nice. The lady doing breakfast was not friendly ..., but the owners very nice and helpful ...

Rooms are simple but in excellent condition, what you would expect for someone going to a beach resort. Hotel is a rather recent construction, less than 10 years.

Location very good - close to the center, however enough far away from the main road so that you don't hear the noise of motorbikes etc. Owners speak only French and Spanish, so if you are looking for some tips & recommendations and you speak only English, it might be a problem to communicate.

Only French and Spanish is spoken but don't worry, there is always another guest who can speak/understand some English.
