Reviews for Hotel Postgaarden

Review 1:The corridors of this hotel had a strange smell, I really feel this hotel is in need of an urgent refurbishment as the décor and carpets are aged. Although the staff were generally friendly the receptionist tried to double charge me on check-out (by saying the room rate was chargeable per person), it may have been an innocent mistake but I wasn't impressed.

Review 2:For our purposes the location was good. The check-in was smooth and quick and the room was comfortable. The buffet breakfast had a reasonable choice.

Review 3:The room we got was not in the main building, and it was a bit worn down.

Review 4:Nice, oldfashioned hotel in the centre of Fredericia. Good breakfast, nice personel.

Review 5:We intended to stay for one night, but ended up staying for four. We had other choices, but decided that our needs were being met for a fair price in pleasant and convenient surroundings.

Review 6:It's an old hotel so floors are not level, furnishings crooked, vent pipes let in all the pigeon noises from the roof. Breakfast was very sparse and basic.

Review 7:The staff was happy to call us a taxi on numerous occasions and the location offered shopping, restaurants, and historical sites within walking distance.

Review 8:The bathroom not smart enough for ":superior room No wash basin plug"Grubby grouting

Review 9:Friendliness of most of the staff,Good local knowledge of tourist attractions

Review 10:On arrival informed the hotel we would not require a breakfast which was fine then asked for a small amount of milk only to find out later that they had charged me for it very disappointed

Review 11:Location

Review 12:Completely out of style hotel. The fair price for this hotel could be 20€, and it doesn't deserve more than one or two stars. Worst quality-price rate ever.

Review 13:Nothing.

Review 14:the old style decoration all over the hotel was just immaculate. the service fantastic and the food right through all meals of the day was very delicious. 10 points out of 10.

Review 15:The hotel is old and in a poor condition. This is not a *** hotel, maybe *to**. Paying 640,- kr for one night are very poor value for money.

Review 16:Location is very good, staff is friendly.

Review 17:The staff is very forthcoming and professional. Location could not be better. Restaurant is really good. Classical Danish food. Reasonable pricing.

Review 18:Due to the position on the road, it was a bit noisy from the traffic.

Review 19:The staff were all very friendly, room clean and comfortable and the breakfast very good. I considered it good value for money. We were also recommended a great restaurant for dinner nearby.

Review 20:breakfast and Dinner were very delicious, big room with a seperate partroom for working, 5-10 min to the center, very nice staffmembers

Review 21:Totally great personal Great dinner

Review 22:Very nice and comfortable hotel. Personnel attentive and friendly. Nice collections. Excellent food.

Review 23:A little noisy at night (music)

Review 24:Lovely decoration Good location Friendly staff Very nice breakfast

Review 25:Pleasant staff

Review 26:Within walking distance from both the train station and main monuments (museum, fortifications)

Review 27:Location was very industrial. Busy road outside.

Review 28:Easy to find and convenient for the E20. Spacious room. Good food.

Review 29:Excellent restaurant with perfect service

Review 30:Fantastic decoration

Review 31:Room is very small, need to renew the bedding and furniture.

Review 32:Good price, good location, reasonable breakfast and friendly staff.

Review 33:Don't stay here if you want a super new, super anonymous, and super clean hotel. This place is for those who appreciate charm and atmosphere.

Review 34:Hotel with loads of charm. They've got books from a 100 years back in the hallway! Really cool. Super friendly staff.

Review 35:Breakfast was small and disappointing.

Review 36:Great location - inside the old city, very easy to reach, parking outside. Very interesting atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Review 37:No clean towels even if we left them on the floor, location a bit in the outskirts.

Review 38:Personnel, good value for money, nice breakfast, convenient parking!

Review 39:The decor in the rooms, which was very old. It seems as if time has stood still. Neither were there any complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, which was not helpful for someone who had forgotten their toilet bag. Tea and coffee facilities in the rooms would also be nice.

Review 40:I like the location and the bed was comfortable. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which was excellent.

Review 41:There was no facility for preparing tea/coffee in the room that I had. Not a big deal, but something I like to have for an early morning culpa.

Review 42:Comfortable and friendly hotel. Decorated and furnished in a traditional style with lots of old fashioned paintings and prints.

Review 43:Rooms could be a bit more modern

Review 44:Near the center and the little marina, friendly staff, nice patio, nicely decorated with historical touch, free parking

Review 45:The actual immediate location of the hotel is not very prepossessing. In the room we had, (number 17), there was a wardrobe but no key to open its door, so there was nowhere to hang clothes.

Review 46:The hotel was clean and comfortable and had good parking facilities. It proved ideal for an overnight stop. The restaurant offered a limited but resonably priced menu. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Fredericia may not be the most beautiful town in Denmark but is well situated at the hub of the motorway system in order to take day trips to other areas - Fyn, Esbjerg, Vejle, Ribe etc.

Review 47:Nice and quiette hotel, good place for somebody who us looking for a quiette space to spent night at. Fredericia is also very charming small city which can offer something for people to like history.

Review 48:location is good and staff friendly. Perfect place for two nights stay.

Review 49:Nothing I didn't like.

Review 50:Very friendly, jovial staff.

Review 51:Nothing compared to the price we payed

Review 52:Cozy, good location, nice staff

Review 53:Staff were simply amazing.Treated us so kindly hard a tour from the owner. Was told about a festival that was going on that night
