Review 1：We had booked a suite for 242,10 euros /day plus Taxes and parking(at 200 meters from the "hotel") and we found ourselves in adark and dreary hovel, horribly decored. The room was at the back,overlooking the wall and the car park (cars at windows!). The bedroomdid not allow even the side passage to the bed: a narrow squallid den.We booked for 6 nights and run away after 2 nights! The staff,outrageously rude, did absolutely nothing to improve our situation. Theycharged us the whole stay (6 nights!) and also tried to charge us anextra day for taxes and parking! They will certainly have let again, asthey told us they were "absolutely full", and will have had anextra gain in our ruined vacation... And for brevity we do not tellmore! Outrageous!

Review 3：The reception is in the Restaurant Maxim. The entrance is at Lottumstrasse 5. The receptionist could not understand my name. (At 17:55 how many reservations do you still have?) The floor was lightly vacuumed, but not mopped. The vacuum cleaner was full. There was no information about clean linens or what to do with garbage. The kitchen did not even have salt and pepper. Everything needed to actually use the kitchen had to be purchased. The exterior of the building needed painting. The door to the balcony would not lock. The stove light and one burner didn't work.

Review 4：The apartment was spacious and the decor was attractive. The entrance hall had a great coat rack and plenty of room for shoe storage. The bathroom was beautifully updated and functioned well. The water pressure in the shower was terrific. The linens were fresh and clean. The kitchen was equipped with pots and pans and basic dishes. A grocery store was fairly close. We enjoyed the nice TV and two large couches.

Review 5：Was very beautiful weekend, very beautiful and excellent rooms and location. Staff very excellent, breakfast very good and only 30 meters to the beach.

Review 6：The parking lots of the hotel were in a different building, somewhat far from our rooms. The ones we were allocated were pretty narrow: care was necessary not to scratch the side mirrors of a compact car like ours. The worst problem was: some of the parking spaces were stacked on top of each other (possibly with some lift device to put the cars at the corridor level). These were very narrow in height, and with quite some slope when parking. Make sure with the reception that you are not assigned any of these.

Review 7：The hotel is quite pleasant, it is very near (even though not exactly at) the sea promenade, and very calm and silent in the night. The staff (both the reception and cleaning staff) was friendly, the appartment very clean and with a nice room distribution.

Review 8：Breakfast could've been offered at an earlier start than at 0800. Hotel doesn't provide Strandkörper to their guests.

Review 15：Overall, it was great. Three things I did not like are: 1. My room was extremely dark -it was impossible to tell if outside the sun is shining or if it is about to rain - it always looked so extremely dark. However, this will only be the case with rooms on the ground floor. 2.You can only watch TV from bed; not a big issue, you don't come to Rügen to watch TV... 3. Not enough hooks/rails to put towels etc on.

Review 16：The location is fantastic, as well as the breakfast (cheeses, hams, sausage, eggs, smoked salmon, fruits, vegetables, cereals, yogurt, jams etc.). Very comfortable bed and a large closet.

Review 21：There really is nothing to complain about, but the only negative issues would be that the duvets and pillows, although fresh and clean were not great. Too thin for my personal opinion. And the sofa could be more comfortable. Other than that a fabulous hotel with great staff and in a fabulous location.

Review 22：Very competent and friendly service at the reception and bar. Fabulous location, literally 1 minute walk to the sandy beach. Spacious apartment, clean, well equipped and with a large balcony.

Review 23：Traffic was a problem both getting on and off the island. We couldn't see what was the hold up, but it took us over an hour and a half in stop and go traffic to get off the island.

Review 24：We were only there one night, but I can see why people would stay for a whole week or more. Location was right next to the beach, and we had an apartment with living room, kitchen, dining area, and a beautiful bathroom. Free wifi in the room, and parking was available for a fee. There's a grocery store located nearby so you can save a little money by preparing your own meals.

Review 33：we booked a double bed hotel (!) Room, but got an massive empty apartment, die to overbooking. This lacked principle amenities one would expect from a "hotel". A 2nd room was locked, which we didn't feel comfortable with - having an unknown room to our bedroom, where we dont have the keys for. Car parking facilities where expensive and very narrow - 30m away from "hotel". Finally the price as confirmed to us from booking.com was not matching the 'real' price demanded by the hotel.
