Reviews for Wreecher Hof

Review 1:Beds were very hard and food not as good as we had expected. Had expected to be able to use wellness/spa/massage services, but were only open on Friday.

Review 2:Beautiful location. Cottages were lovely.

Review 3:There was nothing we did not like about this hotel. It is not, however, a place to stay for those looking for a city experience as it is located on the countryside although very close to Putbus.

Review 4:The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite big and very cosy, located in a small villa with straw roof. Beatiful surroundings, a small pond with fish in the yard, excellent restaurant and a very cosy lounge bar. Delicious food in the restaurant both for breakfast and dinner. Huge portions. We shall definitely revisit the place as we have not had a chance to use their spa facilities.

Review 5:There is a littel long way to the wather.

Review 6:All in all a plesent stay.

Review 7:If you like peace and quiet (this includes mobile phone and wifi connectivity!!), the hotel is in a lovely location out of town where all you can hear are the birds - including a corncrake :) The staff were very helpful and provided a secure lock-up for our bikes.

Review 8:Our first dinner everyone in the restaurant was so quiet it freaked us out. When you are the only person not speaking German it can be a bit unnerving to figure out the mood of a place. But subsequent times the atmosphere was relaxed and people were having fun conversations. A dog in the neighboring room sometimes barked, but it really was not so bad to be annoying.

Review 9:The breakfast and dinners were very good. The massage was very relaxing. Remote and away from the crowds, but close enough for an easy drive to beach. Terrific place to start for our bike ride. Even though only one person in all the staff really spoke English well, they almost all tried hard, and we tried hard with our limited German. Our waitress and the people at the front desk were very helpful. Anke Evers, the receptionist, was great. She was the one person who spoke English fairly well and set up our whole trip there, recommending a good place to bird watch, at Nonnensee, and a great bike ride with a return by train.

Review 10:Breakfast is from 7 to 11, but after 10 it's very limited No aircon in rooms Poor Wifi access

Review 11:Nice location and friendly staff. Great spot to unwind and get away from it all. Central location on Rugen.

Review 12:The breakfast was a little bit small for this kind of hotel (at least from my expectations).

Review 13:The personnel was extremly friendly. It was a warm and very pleasant atmosphere

Review 14:The menu was too limited and the wi-fi was nearly impossible to use.

Review 15:The setting, the buildings, the food (although limited), the staff
