Reviews for Hotel Seipel
Review 1:Wi-Fi connection was mission impossible. I stayed with my friends for 5 nights. At breakfast the staff bothered me while I was eating, asking me questions about some invoices and consumption from the minibar. I don't think that is the time for such questions. No elevator to my floor. There were other guests staying at the corridor in the middle of the night, trying to catch some internet connection. I was worried about leaving valuables in the room, because the key of my room unlocked the room of my friend. Also it was cold.
Review 2:Good location and parking place.
Review 3:The wifi was not available in our bedroom, the bathroom was small and the lighting in the bedroom was dim. The staff were always hovering around one at breakfast.
Review 4:There was really cold in my room and nobody was able to do anything with it. Wifi was absolutely terrible. Connection works every time just only 3 or 5 minutes and than I must wait almost half an hour to reconnect. Same on my laptop and smartphone.
Review 5:Never got the wi-fi to work
Review 6:Good quality hotel, clean, well furnished. Good location for Heidelberg, Baden Baden amnd other location in Southern Germany.
Review 7:I stayed with my family 4 nights. there is no front desk open only in the morning. No elavator to our floor. No wifi at all. We asked the owner again and again to fix it but she didn't. The only thing she did was to ask for our signature!!. At breakfast she was always in a hurry and start closing the buffet before 10 !!. Lot of noise early in the morning from renovation workers.
Review 8:Very big and clean rooms.
Review 9:No internet. No front desk. We stayed with our family 4 nights but the intrnet did not work. We asked the owner again and again to fix it but yet no wifi at the rooms. The only thing the owner did was to ask for our signature !!.There were noisy workers early in the morning for renovations at the hotel . The breakfast was pòor and the owner start to close the buffet at 9.30 before we finished our breakfast!!
Review 10:The rooms are big and very clean.
Review 11:No internet. No front desk. We stayed 4 nights and their were noisy workers and renovations early in the morning. We asked for fixing the internet many times yet it did not work at all. The owner asked for our signature without using it.
Review 12:Very clean. The rooms are big and nice colors.
Review 13:Forget trying to shower after dark unless you wanted to put on a show for the neighborhood, there were only net curtains on the large bathroom window and this faced the entire street, the advertised room wifi didn't work, the air conditioning worked well but bit noisy however the bright blue light it emitted lit up the entire room making sleep difficult, it was 34 degrees outside so the a/c was necessary. We were asked to change tables during breakfast even though there were empty tables around us,then we were basically ignored, others were offered eggs and other things from the kitchen, not us, maybe the staff were intimidated by us speaking English.
Review 14:The presentation of this hotel is lovely, breakfast was adequate and the room was clean
Review 15:The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked staying just outside of Heidelberg and taking the tram into the city. We ate in a pleasant Greek restaurant, only a five to ten minutes walk away from the hotel. It was also quiet.
Review 16:The first two nights we were stuck in room 21 which is not large enough for two people. I asked for a larger room and was initially told none were available. When I told the hotel manager we were moving to another hotel they agreed to move us to a larger and much nicer room. Avoid room 21 unless you are traveling alone. Best to have a car if staying here but the tram into Heidelberg is across the street. About a 20 minute trip into Heidelberg.
Review 17:Clean hotel. Good breakfast.
Review 18:The appartment was ready with baby bed installed; clean rooms; good beds; only a small distance from city centre; free parking/WiFi; breakfast included. We enjoyed out stay!
Review 19:nothing negative to report
Review 20:Although room was quite simple, all the necessary comfort was available and perfectly taken care of. There is a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere
Review 21:The Color scheme of the hotel is very pleasing , relaxing, and quiet. The rooms are decorated with very simple yet elegant and easy. Frau Seipel & the staffs are very warm and hardworking, it reflects the passion to what they are doing, It is a very nice stay at Hotel Seipel, Breakfast Buffet was arranged detailed with love, all what you just need to start your day, parking spaces are available.
Review 22:The small and elegant hotel is situated in a calm residential part of Leimen and within a short walk to tram stop for a fast tram to the center of Heidelberg. This extremely well managed hotel offers modern accommodation within its stylish premises and is spotlessly clean throughout. Management and staff are friendly and most welcoming.and we would rate the hotel's extensive breakfast buffet as probably the best we have had during a 3 week tour and stays at eleven different hotels. This is a most appealing place where first class service, a lift to all floors and excellent parking facilities offer good value.
Review 23:We stayed at Hotel Seipel on our way to visit Schloss Heidelberg. The Hotel Seipel is only a short drive from Heidelberg and is close to dining. The hotel itself was clean and efficient. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is charming and not expensive. Our room had a balcony where it was very pleasant to sit on a June evening.

Review 39:There was NOTHING that we didn't like. Everything was wonderful and staying at Hotel Seipel was a very good decision.
Review 40:Proprietress and staff were warm, chearful and friendly. Since my German is not very good, it was a blessing that they all spoke English. Room was spotlessly clean. Location is very quiet, off the main road 1 block, and 2 blocks from street-car into Heidelberg. Great breakfast. Off-street parking is available. I'd stay there again, for sure.
Review 41:Small bathroom, but clean w/towel rack heating (always a plus). For a one night stay (place to sleep only) this was just fine for us.
Review 42:Very lovely place!! Super breakfast! We stayed here because we used to live in the neighborhood, and had an early appointment the next morning north of Heidelberg. Always wondered what it was like inside, well appointed, and Mrs. Seipel was very friendly, speaks English (for those that need it); and the pictures are spot on. If need to stay longer, then ask for larger room if possible. The area does have a community pool area close to this location; and you are only 15 minutes to Heidelberg; and you are two blocks from the street car that goes to Heidelberg, or connects you from HD to Mannheim...so you don't have to drive if you don't want to. We would stay again if needed.
Review 43:It is a little bit outside the city and in a residential area, although easy access by tram. After about 7pm, there is no staff available till the morning.
Review 44:Great value for what you get- clean, nicely decorated with a great breakfast! Mrs Seipel is very nice and very friendly and speaks English well. That was important since we dont speak German!
Review 45:Comfortable, clean, friendly staff and convenient location for our travel plans. Especially like being close to Heidelburg without having to stay inside the city.
Review 46:I would recommend to provide the Wi Fi for free - it's really small money, but contributes a lot/
Review 47:The Hotel is maintained perfect. There is an elevator to the room's floors. Inside looks like a boutique Hotel. Perfect breakfast. Easy access to Heidelberg downtown by Tram#23. And the most: outstanding friendly management Team.
Review 48:That we had to leave after four days.
Review 49:Hotel is a four star gem. Frau Seiple runs a top notch hotel. It isnicely furnished with excellent facilities. They serve a greatbreakfast. Hotel is convenient to a bus stop to Central Heidelberg. Thecity has excellent tram and bus service. A university town full ofstudents and courteous locals.
Review 50:Charged €5 for 24hrs for a weak wi-fi signal that kept dropping out is very annoying.
Review 51:Relatively close proximatity to visit Heidelberg. Good choice for breakfast. A few good restaurants close-by, try Pama's.
Review 52:Sheets on the beds were very rough.
Review 53:I like your hotel. This hotel looks like *** hotel, no more.
Review 54:No hot water after 10 pm without any prior information in English. 24-hour wifi for 5 euro.
Review 55:Good location for Heidelberg exploration.
Review 56:Very nice clean, friendly family run hotel. More modern decor than we were looking for, but no complaints.
Review 57:Friendly staff, close to tram to get into Heidelberg, close to swimming complex for children
