Reviews for Hotel Rosenhof
Review 1:If it wasn't for the only employ that worked there, the experience would've been a nightmare. The owners don't care at all if their guests feel comfortable or not. They only want to make money. They even tried to make us pay for our children although they are under the age of 5 and we didn't request extra beds.
Review 2:The only good thing is the place. Who build it thought about everything. Unfortunately who has this place right now doesn't make even the basic repairs.
Review 3:We booked two nights and specifically requested a cot for our baby. Upon arrival were told they dont have one for us and they only have one on the premises and had given it to someone else. Spent two sleepless nights with baby and five year old on opening sofa even though we requested that they check with neighbouring hotels. On second night the owners or guest had huge fights in the middle of the night with doors banging and shouting. Finally charged 20 euro more than price set with booking coz they decided to charge breakfast with additional tax. By that point we just wanted to get out of there.
Review 4:Good location. Large clean rooms. nice garden to sit in if you have the lower rooms. We had forgotten our phone there and they called us to notify us.
Review 5:Excellent location, 5 minute walk to center of town. Great room, nice parking area, wonderful breakfast area with delicious selection. Spectacular view! Ruhpolding is our favorite place to visit in Germany and we'll definitely be back.
Review 6:Not the greatest of pillows. Looked a bit shady upon arrival but was definately worth the price.
Review 7:Good location, breakfast and service. A superb room for this price.
Review 8:Staff was very courtious, had a large clean room with balcony, central location to all the sites in southern Germany with 5 min walk to trainstation, did not really need car. Breakfast was epic..thanks guys
Review 9:Was surprised from our arrival. Dogs were not really welcome. Sorry for disturbing the owner. Eliminating guests will satisfy him. Crédit card was accepted under protest. Never again.
Review 10:Nice room. .
Review 11:was a bit of a fiddle to get wifi acess. We had to register with some site in order to get a password. Didn't really like that
Review 12:breakfast was great, room was really super
Review 13:The balconies and terraces needed to be separated more from each other ,using screens maybe, to allow more privacy when sitting outdoors.
Review 14:Welcoming hosts and staff. Excellent central location. Comfortable rooms.
Review 15:Run down bed linen. We previous announce a parking place, but there wasn't free place (we arrived late)
Review 16:Quiet place. Good internet access.
Review 17:A very thin pillow offered no support at all.
Review 18:Walking distance to town centre.
Review 19:Good place for vacation, friendly staff, good location in city.
Review 20:no lift for suitcases
Review 21:Very friendly staff Very calm hotel
Review 22:The room was large and comfortable and furnished in traditional style. Breakfast was excellent.
Review 23:Quite location close to town centre. Good breakfast
Review 24:A friendly reception. Very adequate breakfast buffet. A much larger room than necessary because in the off-season the place was almost empty.
Review 25:Nothing
Review 26:The room was super comfortable and very large when compared to European standards. Owners were very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic!
Review 27:I liked the house, location, food, bavarian people and the bavarian style of life itself. I regret that I was not borne over there....
Review 28:Nice Big rooms, very quiet, friendly staff, great breakfast
Review 29:Nothing!
Review 30:Wonderful location, facility and staff
Review 31:We had an unfortunate incident where our dog was attacked and bitten by the dog of the house. That quite ruined the overall atmosphere of our stay.
Review 32:Everything was very good. The staff was very friendly, our rooms were spacious and confortable. Good breakfast.
Review 33:Some other guests were a little noisy.
Review 34:The staff of Hotel Rosenhof was extremely friendly and helpful. They are mult-lingual and eager to please their guests. The owner went above and beyond all expectations to ensure we had a pleasant stay. He went out of his way helping us rent ski equipment and even drove us to the ski slopes and back. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Daily breakfast was delicious. The hotel is a five minute walk from the bahnhof and the Ruhpolding town center. We plan to stay there again.
Review 35:Owners have a big dog in the hotel. Although the dog is very friendly, does not smell and stay out of the rooms. Just the thought of having a dog around inside the hotel can affect people like me who are allergic.
Review 36:Very Spacious room Comfortable couch and fatteuils
Review 37:You have to pay + 3% for payment with credit card and you have to check out at 10.00 am, even if you have agreed to leave the hotel at noon. I find it disgusting when the owner calls me to leave the hotel.
Review 38:Maybe breakfast could be improved e.g. Cakes, more fruit
Review 39:All staff very friendly, very large and comfortable room most confortable bed of all our Hollidays. We booked for o,e night but we changed our plans to stay one more night. Recommended.
Review 40:We were concerned that although our booking online was confirmed through you when we arrived they had had no confirmation of our coming from you. If our room had been double booked we could have had serious problems getting accommodation as summer is a very busy time for them, and indeed the whole town. In good faith we did not question our confirmation just assumed it was all arranged.
Review 41:It was a very pretty place and the hotel was very clean and comfortable; easy to get around on foot and lots of activities. Not many locals can speak English though.
Review 42:No fridge or simple facility to make coffee/tea in the room.
Review 43:Staff was very friendly. Staying at this family run hotel feels like visiting friends.
Review 44:Owner/Proprietor was very helpful and even got up at 3 am to see that we got up in tim for our 7 AM Munich flight.
Review 45:Very good location Nice staff
Review 46:Pillows were lumpy
Review 47:Close to town centre. Decor and furniture were lovely. Was very clean
